Mystery Farmers 2016 Edition

As I've been promising a few friends for at least a year, I've finally organized a new edition of Mystery Farmers. Those who are newer to the game will probably wonder what it is, and how to play. It's very easy. There are 4 mystery farmers (all are known on the EN forum) who have each answered a set of questions. Based on their answers to the questions, you will try to guess their identities. Be the first to correctly match a farmer to his or her answers and win a prize! Each person who correctly matches an individual mystery farmer to their set of answers first will win a crafting product of their choice. A very generous farmer has donated a tiger stall to the person who can match all the mystery farmers to their set of answers first. And a pink chicken goes to the person who gives the funniest reasons for suspecting a farmer.
So let's get started. The rules are simple. Try to guess which farmer from our forum matches each set of answers, and give reasons why you think so. Anyone can guess as many times as they like, but no double posting. As always, there will be an official judge to mediate any problems that arise, including breaking ties, and choosing the funniest answer for the pink prize. This year's judge is my Maltese, Poppy. She looks pretty and sweet, but believe me she's the boss, so whatever she says goes. I hope this will be a fun game. Be as silly or as serious as you like with your answers. Good luck all!

Question 1: What is your favorite aspect of Farmerama?
Mystery Farmer #1: One of my fav parts about playing Farmerama is the friends I've made! With some I've shared many personal igms, about everything. I've met one friend in person, and another I've spent hours on the phone with. There are several lovely people who are very special to me for so many reasons.
Mystery Farmer #2: Hmmm My favorite aspect of the game is that I can play this game in a way that keeps me challenged at every time. But the game would not keep me interested if no forum or friends. That’s really half the game to me. It’s impossible for me to choose between the two aspects - if BP chose to take away one of them I think I would be on my way out. It’s like yin and yang - both have to be there to make a perfect totality.
Mystery Farmer #3: Everything. Everything keeps me bounded to the game.
Mystery Farmer #4: Favorite aspect, none - I hate everything about the game!

Question 2: What's the significance of your farm/forum name?
Mystery Farmer #1: This is a boring one.... obviously it's parts of my real name. If I had known that this was a game I would play for almost 6 years...I would have been much more creative. LOL
Mystery Farmer #2: My farm/forum name doesn’t mean anything. But it’s like the letters somehow just stick to me.
Mystery Farmer #3: The significance is that ....I named it.. It came to my mind without any application of mind Isn’t that so sweet?
Mystery Farmer #4: It reflects my personality.

Question 3: If Farmerama held an event just for you, what would it be like?
Mystery Farmer #1: Great question!!! I've often thought that would be a great reward for older players! To be able to design an event. It would probably be a breeding event. I love the unknown of what I will get from breeding or maybe a mystery stable. I've been dying to have cats as a breeding animal....so possibly a cat event. I also really want elephants as a breeder on the island. Or.....another Baha Queen event....that was too much fun!!!
Mystery Farmer #2: Fun! Okay I guess I have to add a little more here. I like it to be fun and challenging at the same time, not just growing crops and drops. I like when added an extra dimension like with the Viking event and some others - something where you have to think just a little more to do it the best way. So maybe that event was really mine….
Mystery Farmer 3: Event with great mini-games in it. Just like the carnival quest or ax throwing. Prizes not like this year recyclomat. With a catchy background music.
Mystery Farmer #4: It would be boring and miserable.

Question 4: What's one thing you would change/add in the game if you could?
Mystery Farmer #1: I would love it if the harvester functions were free!!! I have had to harvest by hand a few times....and it was a total pain! I also would make it faster to make power feed! I would also like to give at least 10 gifts a day to my neighbors.
Mystery Farmer #2: Oh tough call! I can find a few like one click harvest, mucking out and feed as you do when you seed the fields or give water or some page showing what you sold in the mkt or crops divided from tree fruit in the mkt or separating the productions from animal pens when you put out stables or maybe even having an autoharvester for everything with an option for reseed and refeed. Just imagine how many lettuce or carrots you could grow over night! Haha but that would mess up the game so I rule it out. Oh I think I will go with the one click harvester and hope BP will change some of the others.
Mystery Farmer #3: I can’t think of any. I am sure the game will develop by itself. In the long run all unnecessary aspects will fallout. I feel this way, may be because, if I feel any feature of the game is giving me stress, I just leave it. Wait, wait ! Will like to send gifts to all my neighbors daily.
Mystery Farmer #4: Get rid of XXL Crapolaspink stables - I hate them.

Question 5: If you had unlimited BBs/CCs what are the first things you'd buy and why?
Mystery Farmer #1: Well....I'm embarassed to admit..but I have almost everything available in the game. Maybe more or all the pink production pens x 4 so I could put them in the manufactory. This game has gotten me through some tough times. I have had health & family issues.....yet I'm still excited to get up each day to harvest my farm and see what's coming up!
Mystery Farmer #2: I would buy lots of red stables, because I like them, and many of them can be harvested twice a day.
Mystery Farmer #3: Necessary Pets, left out flowers/scarcrow/birdhouse items of cloudrow & Pink/neon upgrades and also refinement slots. They help in long run and in establishing our farms.
Mystery Farmer #4: Fill my farm with XXL catalpas.

Yea Poppy! I don't have much time to digest everything, but Number 4 has to be Farmer Broke, because he has such a shinny postive attitude all the time especially about his love for growing event crops that he has loving nick named junk. I know that he really has all of his field (when he is not growing junk) full of beautiful Pink stables surrounded by those beautiful Cap-a-crXX trees that we are all so found of having and BP was so generous to give us each about a million of about a year ago.

 

Oh poppy!!!!! How fun!!!!! I have missed these mystery farmer games!!! Let me see.....hmmmmm......

1. It could be pnp....b/c she likes this game and animals....and has been playing a long time.
2. Maybe TLC....b/c of the letters of her forum name.
3. Meba ....I believe she likes the axe throwing! LOL
4. Mr. Grumpy....he hates the huge amount of catalpas!!!!

Oh, you guys are too good. Some good guesses so far. But Mr. G?? I admit it sounds like him, except that I thought that he hates xxl catalpas. I suppose he could have answered that way to be sneaky, but would he agree to be part of a fun forum game? Hmmm

I agree! All we needed was a round of Mystery Farmers, and we get to see Sglick again. Maybe that was the plan all along.

Pnp, that little sweetie would be your best friend for life in exchange a belly rub. She looooves getting extra attention.

Well, I don't want to give away too much, because I want to give some others a chance to guess... but one of you has gotten close already! I'll confess who it is soon...

 

Hmmmmmm......

Farmer #1- I think is Brookeham because she is a crazy cat lady who takes in all who show up at her barn door. I think she said she has over 80 cats! She is cohost of the Royal Pinks. She also would love to see a dancing elephant in a tutu

Farmer #2 - likes a challenge? I am going to guess Mir for this one. She is the strategic farmer who loves a challenge. She has to right? She is preparing for Harvest Hoedown! I like to copy off her strategies when she helps us in the game section. She is a Viking and likes red pens over pink pens because their time fits better.

Farmer #3 - I don't know but feel like I should know. Will have to think some more.

Farmer #4 - I also thought was Mr. Grumpy. I do think he is sneaky and likes to play games in the forum.

 

Very clever pnp!!! Trying to deflect from you being #1 mystery farmer! It could also be farmingfreebird....she has been playing for eons and loves cats!!! Or......JJenks....b/c she loves hippos in pink tutu's!!!

#2 could also be Sweet_Cassiopeia is a fantastic strategist who likes a challenge. She's brilliant and needs to keep her mind busy!!!! Always keeping that thinking muscle at full tilt.

#3 Maybe its 12ss12.....why? Loves the game and always looking for juicy rumors for upcoming events!!!

#4 Could be davidb ......I think he had some funny poem about too many catalpas!!!!

 

I did consider her as a mystery farmer but I know she likes pink pens better than red. Yes, she also is brilliant We have a lot of smart people who play

 

I know!!! I used to think I was pretty clever.....that is, until I started to play this game. Then I realized.... nope....I'm reliant on the truly brilliant strategists...and follow their lead/directions.

 

I like this thread. Thanks -poppyseed- for starting this game. I have several guesses. But everything is so cloudy in my mind. And reading all the post makes my mind more cloudy. Now I feel unsure of my guesses. So I will let it clear and then post my guesses.

I still haven't figured out whose alter ego Mr_grumpy is.

Question 3: If Farmerama held an event just for you, what would it be like?
Mystery Farmer #1: Great question!!! I've often thought that would be a great reward for older players! To be able to design an event. It would probably be a breeding event. I love the unknown of what I will get from breeding or maybe a mystery stable.
This is not broke. Ever imagine broke liking breeding event for the purpose of breeding. It will be only for selling animals.
And think of broke, speaking himself in terms of older player. No. No. No at all.


Question 5: If you had unlimited BBs/CCs what are the first things you'd buy and why?
Mystery Farmer #4: Fill my farm with XXL catalpas.
This is also, not broke. Imagine him filling his field with catalpas. If its chicken I can understand.

3 and 4 are not broke.

Because we are recruiting vikings for the coming viking event. You see, we want to be the largest Vikings army - Vikings, the terror.

For any reason, even mentioning my name We will just recruit them to our army.
As a matter of fact, now that I think of it - in the spur of the moment I got this thought - anyone mentioning my name will become a Viking Automatically. May be we will confer them Knighthood and call them Sir Viking or Madam Viking ! How nice !! Why we can even include whoever is mentioning Our Queen Meba !

Read all the answers. My first guess for #4 was farmerbroke, but grumpy might be a better answer.

I know I saw the quote for #1 somewhere maybe sweet cassiopeia? (sweet cass?)
#3, I would guess 12ss12, but since 12 posted here, probably not the correct answer...

maybe i need more coffee? i think I will just enjoy watching the others submit suggestions!

#1 Okay we know this is Brooke ...the most friendliest, cat crazy and almost as obsessed about breeding as I am. She's just dying for that Pink Kitty Cat.
#2 This has got to be Mir... the red pens are Mir's style. She's a master at strategy. That's what I take cheat sheets from her posts.
#3 12ss12....I think because she always says "if the games gives you stress, leave it alone". I know she has the patience of a saint...something I've never mastered
#4 Sure sounds like Mr. Grumpy...Deep down he's really not that grumpy and I really think he likes having all those crapola trees

It's so great to see so many of the old mystery farmers gang playing! I've also missed all the fun we used to have. I'm really happy to see some new sleuths joining in the fun as well. You are all doing really, really well. You're too good actually, as you've almost cracked the case already!
To keep the game going a bit longer, I'll let you know how many correct answers each player has given, rather than telling which answers are correct. The process of elimination will help solve this one in no time!
Brooke- has gotten 2 right so far.
Meba- has gotten 3.
Pnp- has 2 of them.
JJ- has gotten 3.
I hope I didn't miss anyone! If so, tell me and I'll add them to our list.
Sooo...#4 can only be Mr G or Farmer_Broke? Well, I have read some of Mr. Broke's forum posts, but I haven't had the pleasure of getting to know him beyond that, so if you gals say he's kind of a grump, I'll have to take your word for it. I'm sure if he reads this he'll know it's all in good fun. But Mr. Grumpy, ok well, he won't be surprised about being a suspect. I almost expected to find he'd written to tell us that he has better things to do than play silly forum games with Poopy.

Since we're so close to solving, I'd better start looking to see who's won which prize. There's still the tiger pen up for grabs- to the person who puts all 4 in their proper places first. Plus, there's the pink chicken award for the funniest reasoning. Still plenty of time for more guessing!

 

Hmmmmmm.......

1. Brooke - she must be the first farmer. She is first in my neighbor list so I think she is 'tops'

2. Mir - I still think this is her. I copied off her farming spreadsheet that says how many red pens she has and while DBAYES is Queen of Pink, I think Mir is Queen of Reds or at least the Carnival Queen

3. 12ss12- I think she used her crystal ball from rumor hunting she does for us in Grapevine to know that she would cause all this guessing of her mysterious identity

4. Has a very unique sense of humor. Hates the game but is playing a forum favorite. Hates XXL catalpas but wants to fill their farm with them. This dual personality....if not Mr. Grumpy, then Jools2? I don't know whether to hug this farmer to brighten their day or hide in case they get mad at me.

 

Since know one thought about Meba, I say fourth is Meba. I thought of saying Grumpy, Kaydd & Bhodho for No.4 but one look at this ...my brain said no way ...Change your answer.... So I will go for our sweet Queen Meba for number 4. She is my Queen. One should be loyal to one's Queen.

and so many people thinking of me I think I will ask broke to send everyone who mentioned my name, a CAC. It doesn't matter whether they are right or wrong. ( Aside....He wants my tortoise pens.)

 

Well it's not me, unless meba is right and it's someone pretending to be Grumpy, after all the Grumpy old fool is another player's alter-ego.
Poopy - I think you're right, Grumpy would definitely not enjoy playing games on the forum, well not fun ones anyway
