Wow that's confusing, but probably both

 

Yup, I was also confused by that and just reached the same conclusion ... about 24 hours after I first read it!

Anyway, enough of bad vibes - though I still have absolutely no enthusiasm for this or any of the recent events. That being said, I have revised my initial strategy and am going to be messing with comfort fields and seeing what I can do with one field (mainly for something to do). If I get the stables, I will be moderately happy.

 

Not overly keen on doing this event ...mainly because I am little bit tired of getting EP and TEP as rewards and this event seems to have LOTS of it ..will see how it goes and see if i can miss it .. IF i can't .... there will be a lots of coming from my farm

 

First harvest....
8 hour crop in MM field gave 13 drops and 9 drops on 2nd farm. First time in as long as I can remember that I'm not going to do the entire event so no need to worry about making a drop 'quota.'

 

Off to a bad start - found my MM field empty

After the first shock I remembered what happend: At the end of last MM I miscalculated and my crops finished about 5 minutes after MM was over. I have wondered what would happen if you just stayed on the MM field when the event finishes, and here was a chance to test it. My crops finished 5 minutes late, I was able to harvest them, but not replant. Hence the empty field

oh well, it can't be that bad, can it?

 

I have no Event crops to plant, is anyone else experiencing this?

I have never tested but suspected it is as you describe. Just like with normal event plants, you can harvest after the event is over but cannot replant.

Erridge - did you refresh the game after the event started? If so, and they are still missing, post in tech to get a mod to find them for you.

Erridge, event crops are only on main field, magical glade and green meadow, not MM field and not baha.

Based upon initial drops received on this farm, drops will become a concern of many with the goal of completing the entire event.

The objective of this farm is to strategically plant and harvest the MM field with RL demands considered. Junks growing will be somewhat continuous and at this point no concern.

 

With my unpredictable work schedule (I am enjoying a rare day off). I have decided to concentrate on the new permanent Quest.

 

I got 3 spooky widgets from first harvest
I didn't have my longest growing crops planted obviously, I have no idea why lol
Anyways, Ive already got 1 green apple tree planted in MM field
Im going to get 2 trees and 2 skooky pens and whatever drops I get, I get as the prizes are not that good anyways~

 

I got 19 drops from initial harvest. I was hoping that drop rate would be far better than this. But it seems its going to be a tight fight for the drops. Planted the 5 seeds.

My cousin's engagement was suddenly fixed yesterday. So I went out of station yesterday early morning and returned home late night yesterday with slight fever & headache. But I enjoyed it a lot. The bride was from a remote village where even a bus stop is not nearby. The feast was homemade & traditional. All the young boys just around 10 yrs old (happy relatives of the bride) did the serving. Met all my relatives in a single place. The marriage is on Dec 4. We have planned to enjoy much more on that day. Thought I might not be able to login today but fever & headache subsided now and my FOCD got better of me & here I am. But glad I managed to login. The drop rate is not good at all. One day of delay might have made me running behind drops.

And if I get a pink stable from them I will be even more happy.

 

I got 18 spooky widgets from a field of duskshadow blooms this morning. I guess those will be my overnight MM crop. I'm not sure what a good drop yield is for this event.
I just got a couple of the new trees and dark firefly pens. They look really good on the MM field. I know the FAQ said only spooky crops and trees, but I wonder if the pens will give drops, since they're placeable on the MM field. I'll do a test run to see.

 

18 Spooky widgets from 1st harvest as well, 8h crop. Oh well Ce la vie. Luckily we didn't need too many, so it's still doable. And I have heard rumours that the world will go on as nothing has happened even if I can't complete the event. Mind you this is just a rumour, so don't take my word for it

 

Can't be! I think the machinery stops working, the animals go hungry, the crops turn to weeds, the mill falls over, maybe even a tsunami from the island hitting the mainland sinking the cruise ship. FOCD demands completing the event!

Farming Other (than events) Causes Disasters!

 

I agree
