Ending Premium Strategy

I received these ideas from a kind person in the forum who found some of these answers on other fora. Thanks for sharing.

Neighbors: Most likely your lowest level neighbors will drop off, but they are not 100% sure. It is recommended to delete the 6 extra neighbors yourself, before your Premium ends. At least this will give you the control who to keep.

Manure: You will keep the manure you have till you use or sell it. Then the new maximum will take hold. Also, no new manure will be added if you are over the maximum when Premium ends. I'm choosing to use or sell my manure down to non-premium as I don't want to take the chance and lose any new that I gain.

Auto-harvest: Harvest your trees before your Premium ends so you don't lose the extra EP benefit. I will harvest and turn mine off just before my Premium runs out.

That's all I have but would welcome other ideas.

First, are we sure it is just being elminated? I thought they were bringing in a new premium feature? The truth is that most of the "benefits" are not worth much to longer term players any longer, other than the extra trees.

Most of the features, other than auto-harvest of trees, are only short-term benefits. There is not much we can do to plan.

that said, I would add a couple of points:
*Remember you will lose weed-be-gone. Anyone leaving crops more than 24 hours -- either switch to trees/pens or go with longer crops.

*The number of sets of items we can put up for sale in the market will halve. (no longer 20 items per category)

*Do any breeding you were already planning on doing, to keep the extra pheromone/perfume.

 

I didn't say that the Premium would be eliminated. However, for people like me who have an expiration date of their premium benefits looming in the very near future, I/we will most likely lose our benefits before the new benefits have been announced or are available.

I have no debate about whether the benefits were worth it any longer or not. I am glad they are re-evaluating the benefits since lately some of them are no longer valid.

Thank you for adding further suggestions to help people prepare for when their Premium benefits are no longer valid. I appreciate your valid input.

 

I will miss my unlimited water, larger poop pile, auto harvest of trees and extra neighbors. Those being the ones off the top of my head. Yes woody they said they are replacing the packages with other ones but they have not said when they will do this. There are people like myself who only have days left before it runs out and no other options to choose from. I may not like the news ones and may not buy them but I would appreciate the option to be there when my time is up.

Therefore I have had to keep in mind...

• Be prepared to pay for water or have your crops take longer before harvesting. I have started a new schedule for my overnight crops to fit my time frames so my fields are never idle.

 

Eeeek!! I am very sad to lose my premium package!! I have appreciated many of the features, especially those mentioned by pepsishot, and I really hope they include them in the replacement package!! Just 3 of them were worth the cost to me: NO MORE WEEDS!; unlimited water; and auto harvest!

 

more warning would have been nice, but I guess they did not want people "stocking up"

 

One more thing about the water. Animals... they will also take longer if you skip the water as I plan to do most of the time.

 

Just a thought for those of you in this unenvious position - don't forget to login and collect your bonus before the time when your package expires or you won't get your free spin (it's not much but you've paid for it!).
I should have a while remaining on my package - but I like what I get, so I'm feeling somewhat apprehensive about what will be offered as a replacement. Of course all this could have been avoided if the contents of the new packages were made known before the announcement and removal of the old one, but what do I know? I'm just a customer.......

 

Actually since the new Fuzzle is in place, we don't get two spins a day, just one. So for the past month or so... we've been cheated out of one part of what we've paid for.

 

pepsishot, you get the one you paid for, it's the free one you don't get every day. Only 15 free ones in October.

 

BlackCaviar In a month of 31 days I should have gotten 62 spins total according to the package I bought which says 2 spins every day I log in. Last month I only had 46. That is not giving me what I paid for.

 

It's only one free spin a day from the package. At the time of writing about the package BP said you now get 2 free spins not one. That included the free daily spin from Fuzzles Woolytop.

 

The premium package actually states "an extra farmwheel spin with your daily login bonus" which is what you are getting

 

No because extra implies that you already are getting something.

Want some extra coffee? Is not only that little bit offered, but extra coffee implies you already had coffee in the cup to start with and are getting some more.

With you on the grrrrrrrrrrr moment about the spins . It was that one spin per day I meant that would be lost if players don't login before the time their package expires.

 

Mine too expires in a few days. I hate the loss of the free water, the larger manure pile and the auto harvest of trees. I also wish there was some premium package available for when mine expires but if it isn't as good, I won't purchase it at all.

 

So I'm "tardy to the party" on this, but I hunted high and low for the premium packs as well as the BB subscriptions and came here when I couldn't find anything. I was starting to think I'd lost my mind.

I'm upset about the losses and my pack expired on the 14th. What's particularly funny about that is that BP gave me a notice when I logged in a few days ago to renew it before it expired. HA! *ahem* Not funny but whatever.

I'll miss the water, auto-harvest but most of all the weed-be-gone. *sigh* I hope they bring in something new pretty quick and that it's not ridiculously priced. AND....what the heck are they gonna do with Fuzzles' old space??! We could certainly use more space on the farm and I gotta say...the new buildings haven't been much help and have been so much hassle to attain!! SHESH!!

help I can't renew my premium pack

 

Is there any ETA on when the 'new' premium packs will be introduced? I don't use them on this farm, but my other farm does and I've become quite hooked on some of the features - especially the 'no weeds' thing because I travel for shows this time of year and can often only check in once a day.

Edited on December 18, 2016 to add: Has anyone heard anything regarding the new premium packages? It seems to be taking a very long time for BigPoint to announce the new packages and as Mary above me posted, there is no possible way to renew existing packages - the pop-up that we get as we near the expiry date does not have a button or any type of option for renewal.

So one does have to wonder if we're done. No more premium packages from this point forward? An update from BigPoint would be nice...
