Cool for Cats Strategy

I realize I have some catching up to do (blame RL) to accomplish Mooboy's Option A.
But... where did the Cat Kennels go just as the event went live? Got any idea where to purchase them?

 

Hey, I posted a query yesterday and apparently the event is for those level 30 and above. And... the answer for why was "we don't know".
That said, grow/sell wheat, buy EP givers and you will quickly level up.

Banjoman, they were located out roughly by where the cows are in my storage, but they seem to have disappeared. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

 

I have loaded my breeding shed but will wait until Baby boom tomorrow to harvest. This helps decrease the initial wait and use of pheromones.

 

I've done the same PnP. It also saves having to wait after BB starts!

I have decided to just put 100 Cats on sale on each of my farms until the prices start falling ... or should that be if?

Banjo/Woody: someone has posted in technical issues so hopefully it should be sorted ... soon.

Edit: Okay, just blew all my strategy out of the window! Finished the first three sections with the Cats I had left then couldn't resist buying all the rest (250+) regardless of the high prices! I guess that I can recoup this with a couple of higher priced sales. Just a little good thing that happened, I put my newly acquired Red, Orange and Yellow Cat Kennels on regulars and they instantly took on the upgraded attributes - and the Yellow ones were immediately ready for harvesting ... how Cool (for Cats) is that!

Now, only 30 million CCs to make up to reach my target during this event lol!

 

Right now, my strategy is to keep growing cats and elderberries (so I can keep milling the feed), while I wait for the BBD tomorrow.


ALSO-- don't forget the cat breeding rune(s) both the one giving the maine coon and the one giving 20 cats, PF and pheromones!

PS... cats are now back, it seems, and back in their original location, near the chickens.

lol -- now logging off and STAYING off to avoid similar temptations! (I hope .....)

 

Cats! Cats! Cats! Woo Hoo! I might go a bit crazy once the BBD starts as they are by far my favorite animal. Since I have a Maine Coon in RL (see avatar) I'm super excited about getting a red kennel. I've been stockpiling cats for ages since this rumor has been around and am selling and raising them at the moment. I will certainly do the event but that is so much less exciting for me than just having all the new cats in the game.

PS: Hello all been so long since I've had time to read and post in a strategy thread, it's nice to see so many familiar names her.

 

I did the first 5 steps of each of the 3 and they take 76 regular cats per step until you get to the last step where the CR is that is when you need a lot of regular cats or use breeding cats whichever is easier for you I have to wait to do the last step till I can get more regular cats because I want to try and save my pf for the neon breeding when it finally gets here again

 

Nice to see you Clash - always love your kitty avatar! I knew you would be excited about this event! Nice addition Marly on the number of cats needed per step.

Put out a few extra cat kennels today, for the CC's. Was able to finish nicely with regular cats in the barn (hope the rodents don't increase now) and am waiting for BBD for some kitty breeding.

Have you got enough to make the number of feed you want, Nellie? You should be able to put three lots so maybe it is something like that. If not, dare I say it, try refreshing ... no, don't throw something at me!

 

Yes, Nellie, you can load all three milling slots. If your mill is misbehaving, check to be sure you have enough ingredients (oats and elderberries).

I am just shy of 1200 cats in my barn so it looks like I will have to do some breeding. Thanks decree and kaydd2 for the numbers. I'm thankful they were more giving of the PF for this event Best of luck to everyone for BBD

 

if you get to the CR you can use your main coon cat that you get from the tree of wisdom and I think it was 108 regular cats instead of 642 regular cats just letting you know

Breeding shed loaded - waiting til BBDay to harvest. Have opened runes on the tree instead of arboretum - have no use for that. And have also snapped up some of the higher cats on the market.

 

I did too but woody mentioned it above as well so I went and got it and it is worth 240,000 so I decided to use it to do the last step since you need 288,000 and then I only needed 108 regular cats made it a little easier thank you woody
