I agree wholeheartedly with this statement! I believe the market timer is a big improvement, but to the potential seller, not necessarily the buyer. Therefore I consider it a big improvement, personally.

Timer is a waste of space. We could get the same information by looking in our own sections.

I wish to post my objections to the recent hard-handed removal of fun and notable posts. Of the many changes that have passed here recently, this one has the potential to be the MOST destructive. In one feel swoop, you are destroying the community spirit that is a big part of what keeps folks here. Limits are understandable, but this is too much.

And.. no, it is not "just standard policy". It is a CHANGE and a very unneeded one!

There are two points that specifically irritate long time users. First, that this was done without warning AND with no real consistency. Second, there is no leniency at all for matters of opinion/grey areas. Deciding what is and is not strategy is not as clear cut as the explanations we are being given implies. Although some of the posts removed were done so for understandable reasons, many were not. The opinion of what constitutes strategy and what does not is just that -- opinion. I would remind the team that this game is a service, a service with popularity determined not by moderators, but by we, the players and users. For Farmerama to exist, it must meet the desires and wishes of we players. Fail to do so and we plain and simply will not put forward our money, view the advertising or in any other way support this game.

The team has made MANY changes in the past few months. Some are greatly enjoyed and appreciated. Others... not so much. To a large extent, that can amount to "growing pains". Things like putting in timers in the marketplace -- I am among those who dislike the change, but hey... no big deal.

When you start messing with the forums, however, particularly when you delete posts, especially posts that any reader of the forum should know are very popular by popular posters and users.. that is something different. When you so disregard the obvious feelings of so many players, then it really feels, once again, as though you are dismissing US.

I have posted what I feel to be a constructive suggestion to correct this. I urge the team to consider it, and not simply delete my post (here or there) as seems to have become too often the policy when faced with material with which they disagree (no matter how politely and appropriately worded it seems). It is definitely NOT a reprise of this post or any other.

But, whether you adopt that solution or another, please DO consider actions carefully.

We all understand that moderators are volunteers. As individuals, you all have different perspectives on things. That is precisely the point. Consider OUR perspectives. Remember, it is the players an users who decide if this game is popular or not, not the moderators. Moderators perform a much needed and necessary service, but it must come with a willingness to adapt and listen to users. The term itself -- "moderator", stems from the word "moderate" -- it speaks of understanding and compromise. For the most part, I think we all agree that you wonderful volunteers meet that definition... but not in this case.

The removal of posts that are not inappropriate for any real reason, offends many here. It is clear that there is at least one moderator who seems to want to see things very, very linearly. I won't say more on that, except that this is extremely harmful.

I for one, spend too much time here and (no it is not because I enjoy growing lettuce lol). It is because over 50% of the pleasure of this game is enjoying the company of other players. If I want to be alone I will read a book. To see this happening once again is very disturbing. To punish the majority because a few are dissatisfied has in the past almost destroyed the forum. It is a GAME. People talk and have fun while playing games. When you take away the FUN, you DESTROY the GAME. There are many, many farming games on the Internet. I come here not only because I like the GAME, but because I LOVE the company of the other players. As in any game we all have our own goals and strategies which makes no one right or wrong. For about a year now the tension was finally disappearing and old players were once again beginning to post. I really don't think that is out of line to ask that we be allowed to have fun and talk while we play as long as no one is being degraded or ridiculed. The ones who are offended by the banter and fun should just read the FAQ's.
Perhaps I have said too much but I have in the past seen the destruction left in the forum and can assure you it was not a place that anyone felt welcome to be or wanted to invite their friends to play.
On my part I appreciate the job the mods do, but I also remember in the past that the same questions were asked over and over again by new players. This has been greatly helped because of the mentoring system now in place and the mentors directing new players to the forum. If it is not a friendly place they will not be likely to stay. Just MHO

It seems that BP is taking more and more away from us. Now the BB subscriptions are taken away. Well, BP, I had decided that I would budget and use only the BB from subscriptions on the game. Now, you have taken those away, so I guess I have nothing to spend! =( (for you and for me)

I would just like to add that I have been playing this game for a very long time, and I have enjoyed it very much. I also feel like I have invested time and money into this game. If I quit the game, I lose all that time and money that I have put into the game. Yet, now I feel like more and more of what I liked in this game is being taken away. I don't understand this. Does BP not realize how many long-time players they are losing? At the same time, do they realize how many new players they are losing? I know they are losing new players because I finally got to be a mentor, and most of the time, the new players do not even reach level 5 (or so). The very few that went beyond that and have played during events, even getting up to level 50 (or so), have now quit.

Get the message BP - you are driving away players, both new and old. You need to stop making undesirable changes to keep the long-time players. For new players, I feel like they are already lost by the time they get a mentor. I am sending gifts to players that make NO progress. You need to do something to make the new players feel successful within the first THREE levels, or you lose them. You need to stop taking away features that long-term players like to KEEP them.

I am really angry about the time and money that I have invested in this game over several years. You are making me wish I had never started playing the game. I don't want to give up my very well developed farm, but I'm getting sick of all the changes that are a disadvantage to me. Shame on you for treating your loyal long-term players this way!

I so agree! I had the premium subscription and the BB subscription for years along with the mill and harvester helpers. I started this game in 2010. I do not like the packs available in the shop for BB's or anything else for that matter. If this is the way the game is moving, I will not be making more purchases as I don't see anything in the 140+ options that are worthwhile. I have really enjoyed playing Farmarama for over 6 years, but I also play several other farming games and I had always liked Farmarama best but it is loosing it's allure with the recent in game changes.

When I deliver an order on a farm quest, it automatically jumps to the top of the list now. This makes it really difficult to keep track of which quests I've checked & which ones I haven't. It would be great if they'd just stay in the order they were in when I opened it.

Thank you for putting the Quest's on the left hand bar. It is easier and quicker for me to see what to do next.
It also eliminates the need to take so many of notes.

    Hi Elena and TurkeyToes,

have you had a look in the quest list, how it is sorted?
Mine are sorted per "newest" and it always stays in the same order. Could be, if it is sorted by progress, that this is the reason, why it is jumping.
Just give it a try to sort it differently, if this helps.

    Good Luck

i like that we have new quests aimed at lower level players, but where are the stars. i like the farmers society quests because i get stars for the tree. i was disappointed when i noticed we didn't get any stars for them.:(

    Hi and thanks :)
I usually use the "favorite" cathegory, so I can only see the quests I'm working on at the moment.
But lately every time I donate something for a quest, it jumps to the top. Like TurkeyToes says, it makes it difficult to remember which quests I have done and which not. :(

Your right leannkat, that was a let down. It may be an EP boost for new players, which will get them to the magic glen sooner.
But, having some stars to open more of the magic glen when they get there would be a nice surprise. :)

So busy trying to get drops for the event so have callas growing out my ears. Went to collect today's login bonus and what is it? Farm droid! Poor timing on a gift when crops are the big thing right now (and will be for the next 37 hours).

    EDIT:
Okay, it's tomorrow's bonus but still bad timing and for many, not a gift at all.

i have a complaint on the game. Wednesday at around 3 pm my game started getting extremely glitch. the about an hour later i couldn't log on. and this problem persisted for two days. my computer was working fine and the only website i had problems with. i cleared my cashes and everything. today it started working again, but i came back to fields full of weeds and i lost my login streak. i was at like 53 days. well, since they changes the login prize format. plus i missed out on time for the events. I'm very frustrated..>:( the crops i had planted were took a long time to grow and are expensive. i just feel cheated. i wasn't my fault and i was the one who got punished. i tried many, many times to login and the game wouldn't let me....
