Hi all,

here is my strategy:
first given seeds harvested, 1 tomato seed donated and got 1 gravel. Gravel given to the fox and got 3 fields 1x1.
Placed the already given Tomato seeder on the original 4 fields, which will give me 4 seeds every 3 hours.
3 seeds sown on the new fields.
In 3 hours I will have: 4 tomatoes from the seed dispenser, 6 seeds from the new fields first harvest and 4 tomatoes from the original start = 14.
Will donate 13 tomatoes into the next step and get cabbages for step 1 of the cabbage tasks. Growing Tomatoes and Cabbages as long as I don't have the cabbage seeder ----------- edit : I will get this in step 2 of the tomatoe task and can place it on another 2x2 field
and so on...and so on....

Have I made myself clear? ...

uh oh I forgot about the dispenser Just have to remember to do that after I harvest

I did something a little different to start. I harvested my tomatoes, paid one in and unlocked the 1x2 plot, then replanted. Instead of placing the dispenser, I just placed a 2x2 plot instead. The dispenser (net) yields the same amount of tomatoes as the 2x2 plot, but it can't be watered, so planting gets a quicker harvest.
I'll only use the dispensers for starter seeds, and during times when I can't harvest on time to get the higher ep from them.

Anyone doing something different?

I seem to understand. But I did a mistake. I did not give a tomato seed to the fox, instead planted it. So that went waste. But try to fix it up with next seeds if possible

I too will try it. When I am off to work it is the dispenser and in weekends it is the fields. Thanks

I will see, how my one works, and if not, I can still switch to yours Its a very long event, so we all should have the chance to get as far as free gaming would allow us

Would be great, if somebody else could share their ideas of strategy with us as well.

I'm confused what are you talking about a dispenser or just planting in field I thought that you had to plant them like regular I don't see a dispenser or know what you are talking about?

 

- this is the seed dispenser for tomato & there are 3 more seed dispenser for 3 more types of seeds. One seed dispenser of tomato will be now in your inventory. You have to get others as you do the event. For more information see here "Learn and Grow" Malala Charity Event

Further seed dispenser will be given to you as you donate the event crops. It will give you 4 seeds after a particular time (the time taken for growing the particular seed is also the maturation time of the seed dispenser)

 

unfortunately the seed dispensers are called "seeds" in the FAQs. I was confused with that at the start too.

Cabbage dispenser will be given to you with the tomatoe task 2
Pumpkin dispenser with cabbage task 4
Aubergine dispenser with pumpkin task 4

Only the tomato dispenser is since the start of the event in your inventory/decorative items

Seed dispenser = seeds (that is how they are mentioned in the Event Rewards in FAQ). So dear friends don't get confused.

Cabbage seed mean Cabbage seed dispenser
Pumpkin seed mean Cabbage seed dispenser
Aubergine seed mean Cabbage seed dispenser

Please don't get confused with seed and organic seed. Organic seed is the real seed/ event crop.

This is, unfortunately, not a consistent result.

I am not sure I would participate in even a nice event coming right now at Thanksgiving in the US, and besides -- my son is playing in the state football finals! (not likely to win, but still.... good that they made it!).

So... I guess its "thank you" to the team for making my decision to essentially not participate (put in minimal effort, if that).

 

My farms are sitting this event out. It is a wonderful charity, but I'm burnt out and have no time due to real life commitments, etc. Literacy for all is one of my personal causes, so I may cough up for the large basket which gives a cloud row, but that's about it.

I'm doing the same...will play as much as I can, but can't buy a basket until Dec. 5 so will buy a large basket if I can, even if I can't finish. Thank You Clonahmon and 12 for the great advice.
