@lottidah The Splinters and Dust are for farmers with deep pockets of BB but low on CC. As the Dust has a barn worth of 10.000 CC and the Splinters are 50.000 CC. So nothing to even think about :p

@sadiesmom1 No it just is the maximum the container will hold, the text is misleading. You can start with the lowest needed amount for the small lot, 20.000 CC

I do not know how many farm coins I will get. Drop items will be a problem and I am not redeeming anything right now. So this event is not at all exciting for me. I doubt whether we can redeem limited rewards if we go for special rewards or whether we would be able to redeem all special rewards ?

I am planting refined carnation for drops in 2x2 plots. They take 11.30 hrs approximately with manure and water. With 4 howies they give one drop for each 2x2 plots. Any better ideas for drops ?

The event FAQ info has been updated. I am not happy at all that Nubionian Batteries cannot stay in barns after this event.

Recyclomat Event it seem it no longer as great as it use to be. The only thing we can carry forward is any farm coins we have won from Recyclomat !!

But it is very random and hard and expensive to earn farm coins.

Warning : The deposit donation storage is 1,000,000 EV barn stocks, you do not have to donation that much into it. Only as much you can afford or prepared to spend

So far donated 2,000,000 EV barn stock got 119 farm coins. I have huge stock of carnations as I acquired a fair amount nuking carnations

Use to love doing Recyclomat event now i am enjoying it less. It is not as fun as it use to been. Where is Feedback for this Event !!

Because this is a mini event, I posted in the January 2017 mini event Feedback thread.

It was expensive but I used up my 900 batteries. I decided any thing that came out would be more than the CC and EP per battery at the end of the event. I leveled up once on main and twice on Baha, (10 golden bananas) and received a lot of CC and 140 new coins.

All in all not a bad deal for my first time. But only because I had over 800 batteries in the barn.
I don't think I will ever participate in Recycl-o-mat again.

I totally & whole heartedly agree.

Rewards are wonderful ! But where are the batteries and farm coins for them ? where ?

    That's great. Congrats. :D:)

As you up and up, it become more and more hard to level up. It is difficult to earn golden bananas. And I had only 2 batteries in my barn when the event started.:p

    Thanks 12ss12 and Nellie_Noodles. :)

Nellie I have the feeling this may be the last one, or maybe just not a regular mini event. Possibly the reason for cashing out the batteries when it is over. That is just my deduction folks. ;)
Not to worry though. The coins will be handed out in other events, gifts, rewards... Eventually if we do not impulse spend them, we can buy something really great from the top shelf.
12ss12 you have refined carnations, if you can't get major drops no one will.

That's possible Joan ... and hopefully will be in other events

Shop-O-Rama has some good things in it and are worth having... BUT getting them from this event certainly isn't worth it to me
My barn is worth more then EP and TEP
I make enough of these daily from the cloud rows the park and ship wreck bay ...i don't need more of them

Made 7 coins for having a few goes in this event that have NO EV and seeing the amount that was being asked for...was enough for me to see and to stop playing...dont want easy ...but these amounts are ridiculous
Farmerama needs to try harder if it wants my barn ;)

AND Now i am going to be very aware of Events ..with what is wanted and what is being given as rewards
Usually do every event going...but this has shown me ...that's not always a good thing to do

That's what I have been thinking. This should have been the Harvest hoedown/TOP 1000. Prizes are great than that event. Demand is very much higher:p
You think so ? There is logic in it. Let's wait and see.

Has anyone redeemed the prizes ? What did you go for ?

There is no pleasing everyone. Personally I am delighted to get more EP as I am in the high 90s and it takes ages to level. Now that there are new things to do after 100, I am back to striving for EP. I've had really good drops without doing a lot of effort. I have 70 farm coins after 9 tries in the machine. I am hoping to get one of the PF packs. Happy to turn some of my 50000 carnations into PF!

I think everyone has different goals at different stages of the game. Newer players don't want to part with barn stock, that's understandable. But for those of us who have been playing six years, we've seen a lot of innovations come and go. It all depends on your personal goals whether you like them or not. There is so much negativity in the forum. I seldom read and almost never post. I think we've all forgotten that this is a GAME and you can pick and choose the parts of it that you enjoy.

I am at level 96 ...maybe you would like to enlighten me on these new things to do when i reach 100...because as yet i haven't found any ?
And yes i know it's Only a game.... I Have been playing it since the 29th of september 2010:)
And yes we do have different goals ...mine is to enjoy playing with nice friendly people;)

Have this cloud row to this event already... from recycle-O-mat 2015 magic stalk row
....gives the same Tep and EP Reset Time 72 hoursxD Not getting it will save a click ...Now that's a bonus xD

LOL Nellie ! Your sense of humour.xD

My last harvest is over for today & its time to sleep. So far I have earned only 684 coins and did not redeem any prizes and there only 42 hours for the event to end. I think I can redeem the PFs in the limited edition at the end of this event. That is the best I can do.

Well said, matselleste:) I had batteries in my barn and have been collecting more but haven't redeemed any yet. As the movies seem to be nonexistent the last couple of months, I really want to get the BB's or PF:p:p I would like to have a Magic tree bc I don't have one but I'm going to have to forget that:(-.- I only have 12 BB's and I can't even try for the new critter in Baha even if I wanted toxDxD

Edit: Just back from using my Nublons....doesn't look like I will be getting those BB's:( I have 71 coins. did manage to get the "28" and the rest seemed to be stuck on the "7"-.- Down to 2?? some nublons so I will do the best I can;):p

This event is a bit puzzeling. No proper anouncement with link to FAQ was posted befoe the start of it, and no official feedback thread to post my rant either. There's a bit of misinformation in in-game help. It says regarding donated goods: "...star flowers are worth more" which is not true. 8 hour star flowers have EV 40 while regular 8 hour asparagus has EV 45. Similarily about twice as long sugar beat (16:08 hours) has nearly three times the value (EV 115) etc. So the only place worth planting star flowers is Baha and Forest.

I didn't have much time to investigate at the start so just planted stars hoping to get something out of it later. Well not so really. First I'd have been much better planting normal crops, second although rewards are interesting they are far beyond the reach of anything I could grow during the event and my barns are not really overflowing to fill in the silo multiple times to get any decent number of farm coins. Looks like I get nothing or near nothing from it. Should have payed more attention. :) Never mind. Just a game. :)

I wonder what other forums are saying about this event?

I had lots of batteries from previous event and used my Roses to get as many coins as I could but am nowhere near getting the Magic Tree. I also think that the 'special' prizes will change so next time the Magic Tree may not be available.
Way too many crops/batteries needed and not enough coins being given. Most of the prizes I can buy with CC, don't want or need or can make myself. There will have to be a big rethink if I am going to participate again.

Hi all, been gone for the weekend, so getting a late start. This event might be tough for some with lower stocks, those who are actively working on many FSQ still. However, for me, the chance to get the magic tree is worthwhile.

I don't think you have to make the full donation to activate, but I might be wrong. That is just the maximum.

Tiki totems, chopsticks seem to give high yield, as do some other crops. Check and give away the "excess" -- things you don't need, things that are selling poorly (but give high trade value). It may be too late to boost your farm now, stock it with chopsticks and tiki totems (unless you want to use PF, which I would NOT recommend unless you are very close to the prize you really, really want)

I am only growing the event crop on Baharama, and that only because I came back too late to switch my farm over to chopstick factories and tiki totems.
I have no trouble at all making the donations, its just the nublon batteries that are my holdup.

IF you have them already placed, chopstick factories should do a bit better on baharama. I am not sure what the relative value of sawmills, biofuel versus carnations. Again, a bit late for those anyway.

For crops... going 1 X 1 is generally thought to be better than 2 X 2, but that is highly debatable. If you don't have the harvester, likely its not worth your time to do the 1 X 1.

Thanks woody. I found that many seasoned players used very huge amount of super grows, that is in thousand. But all they got was a meagre amount of farm coins. So I have winded up this event and have no goals for the event. I got the 60 power feeds and have 6 farm coins left out. I got nearly 200 and odds super grows from doing FSQ. Used them to get drops. But got only 60 power feeds in return. 8)

    So 200 +/-super grows = 60 power feeds.:p

I am not even thinking of the special rewards. Can't go anywhere near it.8)

Hi woody ! Why don't you merge your double posts. You must have failed to have noticed. May be they can be merged together by any of our moderators.

Woody you did your best by missing the event.xD

For this event, that is generally not the case.
This is termed "RECYLCAmat" for a reason.... it takes the leftover items we have and turns them into something better. That is the key. if you are starting out with an empty barn and trying to make stuff, then it becomes not so cost effective.

This is also where the loss of the old premium might matter. Trees were always a good way to build stocks, because they produced whether you showed up or not, then you got tons in inventory that we generally could not use except for donations such as this (that is, we could sell them, but they were most cost effective for donations).

This type of commentary is also where I see the big loss of the older players. Broke, in particular was always quick to point out what was and was not "cost-effective", mir, others would do the stats and give a generally good rundown of options for both newer players and the older players.

Basically, anyone not having a lot of stock or who cannot grow carnations yet might do well to grow the event crop. Otherwise, they are basically a waste for this event.

Whether the event is "worthwhile" or not depends on what you have. I suggest looking at tree fruit, products you are not needing for FSQ and/or selling for a high price.

As always, there might be opportunity to make money selling things. However, because the event crop, even growing things for this event at all is not necessarily the way to go, prices of manure are not spiking like they do for many events. It is going up, but not as much as it has been. (increased stock piles is probably also a factor).

If they take it down right away, I believe they will have an online riot on their hands. The structure seems to be that the basic prizes will switch out, the special and limited will stay for a while. I hope that the magic tree never really goes away. Since we can only get one (at least through this... may not apply to prior winnings, not sure), there is no real reason not to keep it there so new players can get one as well. That would be my hope, but, of course, I am not in charge :music:;) I would hope they might bring back the howie donuts as well.
