Question about trophies

For the more experienced farmers around here...

I have a question about the trophies that come from the 'Country Fair' and 'Farming Contest' quests.

On the tree of wisdom, you can 'connect' your fields with 300 stars in order to increase drop items on ALL fields. Does this include Moonlight Playfield? Also, do the increase of these trophies affect event drops?

If it does and if it includes the Moonlight Playfield, then I'll have to go and quickly rake up a few stars to get that slot on the tree of wisdom.

If it does not include the MP, can you move the trophies there physically or is it not accessible on that field?

This one is a little difficult to be sure, and you may need to ask the moderators. When the trophies were originally announce MM was not a separate field. So many of us have never had the opportunity to move the trophies to the new MM field. Unfortunately, now that it is a separate field, the FAQ doesn't really mention whether or not it would have any impact on the drops from MM even though it does say "all fields", it was written before MM field.

I personally believe it does work for all fields, as that would make sense, but I would suggest asking a moderator to check up on that to be sure.

 

Just a quick note: Trophies cannot be placed on the MM field, and neither can Howie Donuts.

This is exactly why I suggested asking in the help section. They add new things all the time like the MM field, but they never update any of the old information, so it's nearly impossible to really know unless they tell us.

 

Of course! I have no clue if the LL rune applies to that field, so I'm glad someone finally asked. I just wanted to answer the part that I did know. They don't allow trophies or Howies on that field because someone could accidentally leave them there when MM ends and they would be impossible to retrieve until the next MM comes around.
There's no mention of the LL, but here's the info about the field from the FAQ:

 

The moderators just confirmed that the LL Rune does work on the MM Fields.

 

Thank you Decree, I was far away in dreamland when the answer came in so I appreciate that you were able to update everyone here.

Now I just need another 124 stars for the 'living legend' rune... Hopefully, I can rake them up quick enough I've got more than enough CCs to buy a few products or animals for some of the FSQs.

Edit: Got my stars! The level of my trophies gives me now a 21% increase in drops! Yay! I'll work on finishing those upgrades another time, for now, I'm happy where it's at.

 

What is a Howie Donut?

 

Howie Donuts are a decoration item that at one time might arrive as a bonus for buying large amounts of BBs for real money. (There were four different "Farmstreet Boys" turtle deco items, and would get one with purchase.) After they discontinued it as a reward for buying BBs, they added it as a one time prize to Renzo's Fair. Now the only way to get one would be to be lucky enough to trade for one during the Barter, Gift and Exchange event (aka G&T), and they are very hard to trade for.

Great news that their effect also applies to the MM field. It looks like we'll need all the help we can get with this event.
