If I figured this out correctly you will need
    4750 Jelly Ear Fungus
    750 Blood Tomato Sauce
Mill 125 Jelly Ear Kabobs (mill time 5 mins)
this is just to get CR and all the givers.

Good luck everyone and hope we have fun with this one!!:D:D

I'm looking forward to this one. Don't think it will be too difficult (as long as drops are reasonable). I'll probably only go for the CR and givers, after that I'll focus on things I need for a few MM FSQs

Thanks julie. I too like this event. Rewards are good. And I hope drop rate would be reasonable too.

    125 * 6 = 750 drops needed I really hope I am wrong...

I have asked a question about the event - I am really hoping that the Jelly Ear Kebabs are cumulative for each level which would mean we need 55 - which is a lot better than 125 especially when we only get drops from one field! :wuerg:

I will set up the SOS thread and post the correct figure in when I get a reply. :)

SOS Fly By Night Event Drop Items/Blood Tomato Sauce
    Good luck everybody! ;)

Yes Saphira, I think you are right.

    It says 125 feeds. 10+20+40+55 = 125. So 125 x 6 = 750 drops.

But I wish it will be cumulative like illy says. We will wait for the answer before confirming.:)

I'm looking forward to this event!
There's not much strategy except to put longer crops/pens/trees in at night, if drop rate is the key.
Also to remember Moonlight Mania magic stalk #2 if you have it, and Terror Boquets. They both reduce time so you can get more crops AND drops.

My wish was not granted ... it is in fact 125 feeds to get CR etc. Oh well, no harm in asking. With only drops coming from Moonlight field, I am really hoping that they are forthcoming. I mean, 125 drops a day from one field where the longest crops are 8 hours (I think) and trees aren't much more! :wuerg:

Crops shouldn't be too bad though, need a positive side! xD

I really like the chance at more GB's they've provided with this event. My only concern is that we won't be able to get enough of the drops since they are limited to one field.

I am too will be doing this Event, One of reason why i like this Event as it has it own Moonlight Playing Field while i can do normal farming.

I am now Growing New Baha Trees and New Baha Crops, which i can farm along aside Growing Spooky fruits or Crops...:D

This time is Spooky Cloud Row is worth getting as it gives rewards every 12 Hours, just right up my street xD

    There is Currently Two 8 Hour Spooky Crops;
    • Glowmold
    • Duskshadow Bloom
These are Ideal as spooky overnight crops. But we have Dark Green Apple Trees 12 Hours, Tentacle Willow 10 Hours and Darklight Firefly Lair 6 Hours....

We now have a new Receipe called 'Silver Flame Incense', used in silver slot buff which gives +1 Darklight Firefly !! as i am already in process of unlocking this Receipe but needs to be Level 4 Alchemist to craft this new Receipe...

Jelly Ear Fungus do take 5 Hours 30 Mins to Grow as usual there are two things that can reduce Growing Time of Spooky Crops. They are Terror Bouquet and Moonlight Mania Magic Stalk Row Combine these two using water and Manure Reduce All Spook Crops by 50% Growing Time.

As we do have Super Grow too which Heap Reduce Spooky Crops growing time even more. Any we have to reduce spooky crops times helps us reap more Drops of Blood Tomato Sauce.

As we only need to Grow 4750 Jelly Ear Fungus and 750 Blood Tomato Sauce to get the Cloud Row and Givers....We can Grow more Jelly Ear Fungus and Obtain Additional Blood Tomato Sauce to get nice Prizes Feeding these Greedy Prize Generous Bats i Hope :p

Getting Cloud Row and Givers can be done in about 2/3 Days. So we have at least 3 Days to grow other spooky crops or more Jelly Ear Fungus !! ;)

Hope all have fun Great Fun with this lovely Spooky Event !! ;)

This does look like a fun event! I hope BP doesn't ruin it by making the drop rate too low for our MM
field! It is a 6 day event though, so fingers crossed!:p Good luck to all doing this "Fly by Night"
event and may we all have lots of "blood tomato sauce" falling all over our farms!;)

Had to go have a look... Cool, this looks really fun. I had to giggle when I see the giver "let me sleep" what is that off of the movie The Ring I think either way it made me giggle.
The only thing I see about this event is, will we have time to grow the regular MM crops?? Or will we be spending the whole time growing event crops to make Jelly Ear Kebabs??
    Good Luck to everyone.

thanks @Mooboy looks like you answered my concern and thanks too to everyone who did the math :p

Chances are there will be time for both. It is really dependent upon the event drop. If the event drop is reasonable, then as Mooboy has pointed out farmers should be able to finish the event in 3 days. If the drop rate is particularly low, or a player does not have a lot of the trophies unlocked, it will most likely take them longer to finish the event.

For this event I will prioritize obtaining the cloud row first and foremost. With two chances at getting TB, Toolboxes and more each day, the CR is really a nice prize. The additional chance at other prizes (Mainly GB as they are so hard to come by) will certainly tweak my plans for the event. If the drops are reasonable, then I will continue to grow the event crop and obtain more prizes. If the drops are terrible, then I will continue focusing on my other MM goals.

Just a quick reminder for the US players. Germany is still on "winter time". So if your event usually starts at 8 a.m. it probably starts at 7 a.m..
(Not sure what UTC +1 in the announcement means. But maybe just the time change)

Thanks for posting that little reminder, Dienstag. :)

UTC+1 simply means that CET is 1 hour ahead of Coordinated Universal Time, which is the world time standard. CEST is UTC+2.

For those of us who are going by EDT (Eastern Time), the event starts at 9:00 AM - one hour later than usual.

UTC is the new name (at least I suppose it is new) for GMT Greenwich Mean Time.

Well I haven't been back here since I started this thread and all I can say is "WOW" my math was WAY off:oops:o_O:eek:xD In case anyone is wondering how I came up with the amount of drops I was multiplying 38 (crops) x 6 (drops)o_O:po_O Don't ask!! I didn't have my cup of tea yet:wuerg:xDxDxD

    My strategy:
1)I am in --- have lots of coffee
2)growing all event crops to get the cloud row (ca 180 fields with CAC give excess of 540 crops per cycle = 9 cycles to grow) as quickly as possible ---- have more coffee
3)keep enough crops to do another full cycle (180 plants) --- have more lots of coffee
4)wait for drops --- waiting is easier with another lot of coffee
5)grow other MM crops to be able to unlock bat breeding and get one item from Jacks shop --- being tired need even more coffee

Hm.. I think I won't have lots of sleep with all the coffee intake ..should I rethink my strategy?? o_O

    Have fun with the event
    Good Luck
