Thanks, 12ss12 for the totals, and thanks, zerodegrees for the prize list with links to the wonder trees/stables! You guys are going to spoil us! -Or at least make us lazy:p
This one looks fun. I just wish we had a little more of a break between events. I just started working on a new refinement crop to try out. Oh well, maybe next time. For this I'll probably do event crops by day, longer crops overnight and see how things go.
Maybe I'll be able to catch all the bad guys.;)

I'm looking forward to getting that Clod Row! LOL! As if I didn't already have enough clods in my life...

For anyone having trouble getting drops try this...
Walnuts are used in making PF and anyone that found their way to the forum can buy them for 450CC each. They are currently selling on my market @147. Sell three walnuts and you've almost paid for one tree, 441CC. Buy as many walnut trees as you can afford. Plant them now. Harvest as soon as you can after event start and delete all the trees. Then work on nuking your starter seeds. Walnuts are 20h trees and will probably give you more drops than anything else you have unless you are an established player. You'll get better prices selling tree fruit than selling red roses or carnations or... Now if everyone does this the price of walnuts will drop so... you might be better off checking prices of your highest level tree v that tree's fruit prices.

    Hope that helps.

Meanwhile I have rose hips out...

Here is my strategy so far. I have some things in RL that I need to figure out, so I'll post the rest of it as soon as I've figured it out, but for now here's my plan for preparation. I'll also try to add a few alternate options when I get the chance.

    Event Preparation
Step 1: Place 20 hour trees on ALL fields in ALL plots.
No Arboretums, just trees, placed 22.5 hours in advance due to schedule (event starts at 5am my time, I cannot afford to lose any sleep and will be waking up at my normal 7am). I'll select the trees using a mix of factors including BV, MV, and Barn Inventory, and the amount of time I have to make the decision. I'll enjoy the day and night away from the farm (Cook a nice dinner for my wife and watch a movie and some Netflix - Iron Fist anyone?). Checking in only to buy/sell on market, and to check my refinements.

    Step 2: Buy Manure
Since I have no pens out at the moment, I will want to make sure I have enough Manure (100) for the strategy I employ. I will not use more than 100. I plan on buying at least 1300 Manure, 1000 to relist at the Max Price, and 300 for my own inventory. 100 to use, and another 200 to sell after my initial Manure lots have sold. This will pay for the Manure I use.

    Event Start
Step 1: Harvest Tree's and replace Main Field with 2x2 Fields. Change over Green Meadow and Magical Glade to 1x1 fields. I will plant event seeds (Nuke Strategy) in the main 2x2 fields, and Sorghum + Water in the Meadow and Glade 1x1 fields. I will leave the tree's on the Bahamarama Plantation and in the Rainforest. Everything will be harvested at the same time.

Use Mooboy's patented "Nuke" strategy to start event seeds only. This will take 1h5m till harvest. I'll wake up at 7am, make my morning beverage, start this step up, then hop in the shower and get ready for the day. I'll harvest before leaving the house, I won't have time to nuke twice, so I'll have to do the second nuke when I get back home.
Needed: 100 Manure (180 CC/ea on market), 100 SSG (saved from past events), 100 Water, 100 SG (saved from past events), 2 Fruit Cake (32k CC), 1 White Innocence (27,500 CC), and 1 Pinkie Pie Pie (30k CC).

Step 2: Plant long crop for obtaining drops while I am away from the computer. 1st crop - Hazelnut + water (no refinements) in 1x1 fields on Main Field, Meadow, and Glade. This gives me 11:12h away from the computer. Plenty of time to get back home and do a few things before needing to harvest.

Step 3: Nuke Event Crop one more time.
Change Main Field, Meadow, and Glade over to hold 90 2x2 fields. Plant Event Crop in all 90 2x2 fields and nuke. Then fill the outer spaces with 1x1 fields and plant Sorgum + Water. Harvest all at same time.

Step 4: Long Crop for overnight

***This strategy is not completed, however I wanted to post it right away so that anyone who wants to follow the strategy will have time to plant tree's.

Here's how many harvest are needed to complete the event using all 1x1 fields and a CAC. *Forgot to mention that the first two harvests would also need SSG to acquire those harvest numbers.

Do I understand correctly that if I only want the item for the Candy Surprise row, that I only have to grow 1500 junks, collect 80 jewels and mill two bundles? o_O Home sick today and my brain is not functioning ... :cry:xD

    Chocolate Coin Surprise -- level 2 -- 2 bag o'jewels *750 event crops = 1500; 2*40 drops = 80 == DONE

Whew! First post was after I prepared Farm1 for event w/ rose hips. Since then I've eaten breakfast and decided... what the heck! I bought 550+ walnuts for each of Farm2&3 and planted them on Main, Meadow & Glade. Not much EP in that strategy but I was really low on walnuts. That is way too much clicking so I decided to leave RF (sloths because I was working on the new FSQs) and Island (rare pens and trees and 70 Eucalyptus).

Still not sure what my schedule for this week is but I will grow event crops during the day and probably carnations at night. 7-20%= 5.6 hours. I still can't handle 16h days so I'll only plant two rounds of event crops per day max w/ carnations at night. That should work fine for me. We need 3,125 crops /day. If I use all five fields (probably won't) that should be a little more than one harvest a day. 18,750 / 3,000= 6 harvests plus starter seeds. I think I'll leave Island alone and use 3 main fields and RF for event crops.

    Time for lunch...

I got all crazy when I read Five hundred CC's and bunches of EP and TEP per level above in the posts then I went back into the faq's to make sure, my faq's say it's lower, Is that the right one people? I will be putting out Rose Hip right now and leave it until morning.

I'm too tired to figure out anything, so I'll go on autopilot, carnation on 1x1 plot, too much fuss and clicks with trees this time. Won't harvest until about 1h into the event, then SG & the lot 2, maybe 3 times, then I'll try some longer over nighties, and then back to event crop - and so life on the farm continues. 1000 drops and close to 19 000 crop on all lands seem to be a normal grow& throw event. The clue is in the order to do just that, grow first - throw last, the reversed order just messes up everything.

saturnia22, here's how I got the totals for EP, TEP, and CCs:

    425 EP x Farm Level

    Step 4: 175 EP x Farm Level
    Step 16: 250 EP x Farm Level

    150 TEP x Baha Level

    Step 12: 150 TEP x Baha Level

    500 CC x Farm Level

    Step 8: 500 CC x Farm Level

The Hostile Takeover is an 7 Day Event. One day longer than the recent Spring is Spring Event. Also you will be getting Drops from All Five fields of Shiny Jewels. Therefore Getting 1000 Shiny Jewels will be or Should be easier to obtain. As we have 5 fields to obtain Shiny Jewels. I do not this Drop rate will be an Issue here, This time i Hope :p

In the last event Spring is Spring it did not take that long to reap all of needed Event Crops. But the Hostile Takeover is an 6 Hour Crops but, we will need to grow 18750 Trap Flowers it might going to take a bit longer to Hoard 18750 Trap Flowers.

The Chocolate Coin Surprise Giver is a must to add to those who got Candy Surprise Cloud Row. As we need on 1500 Trap Flowers and 80 Shiny Jewels to get this giver ;)

Those who need TEP or GB to unlock Temple Statue. This event will reward you with 5 GB plus lots of GB. I Wish i can send GB as gift to Farmers whom needs GB as i have surplus of 600 GB.

This Event can be done within 4 Days or So using all 5 Fields to grow Trap Flowers. It Might be possible to use only 3 Fields for Trap Flowers but it might take you 6 to 7 Days to do it :music:

I am not going to do any overnight crops with this Event i will keep producing Trap Flowers until i got 18750 of them. As I like to be Efficient as possible when i have my CAC Activated so overnight crops is not Effective option to make most of CAC but might be more Effective on Drops

Good Luck with this Event ;)
