The extension was announced on Thursday, March 30 at 11:05 AM (Eastern Time) - the very first day of the event, about 3 hours after the event went live, and only 31 minutes after being announced on the DE forum. Perhaps you missed it?

 

Here's my two cents and at the risk of repeating what others have said here it goes...
Well, it's all over and NO I have not completed the event I had enough crops but not nowhere near the needed drops. I fell over 300 short in drops it was not for the lack of trying either, believe that. At ALL times the entire event while growing event crops I had one field growing long crops. When I gathered all I needed of the event crops I made all fields into long crops. I worked very hard this event SMH.
I understand a lot of farmers finished the event but there were also many many who were unable to finish due to drop rates. The gifts were very nice, wish I could have reached 22 and 23, but oh well. The event crops were very pretty. The debt counter didn't bother me at all, as a matter of fact, I ran the debt up deliberately. My April Fool's revenge heheh
As far as graphics go? There was not a whole lot to judge, The 'no win game' I hated it and found it a pure waste of time and not very entertaining either. BP you could have at least showed the whole weasel standing at a table or something with maybe a little caption bubble pop-up say something like "step on up and try your luck. Get a little off your rent if you can find the pearl." or something anything to add a little bit of entertainment. We were forced (if we wanted our prizes) to play the silly waste of time game you could have at least made it entertaining.
Glade there was only one crop to grow that was a plus but then we had to mill a product never really care for that. The drop ratio needs to be adjusted, almost always.
I have read stories of great April Fools mischief and I must say I was very disappointed
I suppose I could say more but this was a long boring event and I need to get my farm back into some order. I milled a lot of animal feed and now need to replenish the crops

PS: I really like the events where there is actually something for us to do. Like the soccer, cake and Valentine's events to mention a couple off the top of my head.

 

Sorry, I didn't see it at all. The only reason I saw it this morning is because it was on the first page of the new post threads. Up until today it was NEVER available. BP needs to make announcements like that through the "news" board on all of the farms. There are many players that don't have access to the forum or don't even know it exists. Also, I don't have time to be spending hours checking the forum. Usually I go to where I need to and post or read what I am looking for.

 

i finished it, but barely...i liked the theme and the joke...it was hard not to slap the weasel, LOL...it was hard. i don't know who rates these games but they rate them all at medium and they range from easy to hard.. this one very hard. the drops were good for me the growing time ok. i like being able to use all my fields so that was great. and i loved the cloud row. it gives out plenty of cash and the ex givers are cool. one note... when we got prized there were good amounts of super grow and turbo mulch but the power feed prize was poor. we got 50 (i think) of the super grow and 10 power feed. i didn't like that. i liked the super grow. don't get me wrong. but i put in a lot of work and i got 10 power feed. i don't no what else to say except i wish they had given out more of it...

 

Too much Turbo Mulch and nails (I don't need any). These items are really a poor prize for the work invested. Even after my farm was "returned" to me, I was still getting "charged" for usage. I know that this number is a bogus number but really? I've never been a fan of April Fool's jokes. Sets a poor example. I did finish and will enjoy the CR.

 

I felt the event was stressful. Although I did win, it didn't make up for the stress during the event. I think it probably had to do with drop rate in the middle part of the quest.

Having to play the April fools game 25 times was irritating because I batched the first 15, and gave them all at once.

I had to play the game 15 times in a row. The hands moved so fast I couldn't even make a educated guess. I understand that I couldn't win, but still I would have like to think I had the chance to guess right, even it his cheating made it impossible.

 

I did like the prizes in this event. One of the wonder stables actually turned into a bison! Now, that was a very nice, very rare surprise! I wish you would put the drop rates back to what they were before (before new management). I, along with many long-term players, feel rather betrayed that after all that Iput into earning things that would increase drop rates, these things don't seem to matter.
