They did work on the previous event (Fortune Smiles) featuring the moony maggots. BUT, both the event crops were added as permanent MM crops after the event, so I suppose that's the difference.

 

You put 2 Terror bouquet at one time. If so you can deactivate them and get one back. But the other one will be lost.

8 hrs crops are best for drops.

 

I was more thinking along the lines of rotten apples or general compost

It has been acknowledge that TB, Moonlight Cloud Row Buff does not work on Horror Vines as they are classed as Event Crops not as Spooky Crop...

I have Locked in TB x 8 into Gold Slot using PPP, so i am stuck with it. I have changed my mind not to work on Swamp Quest for now as it is too much to donate for the prizes it is worth for time being.

I think it be more productive to make Dark Green Apple Trees and Willow Tentacale Trees as we need loads of Dark Green Apples and Willow Tentacles. Which i should be able to make couple of Nightgleam Trees before Event Ends. As it easier for me to get some Nightgleam Trees than doing Swamp Quest.

As we will be able to get one from Moony Meyham Quest. So i will grow spooky crops that benefit from TB+CR will do some Nuking with Harvest 2015 CR too. That will certain reap in Moony Maggots....

Guess What on my 2nd harvest of 2 x 1 of Horror Vines. I was Shocked to get 20 Moony Maggots. I wonder if that is happen with you, since they are infective with CR + TB ?

There are two 8 Hour Crops Duckshadow Blooms or Glowmold, these should give best drops of Moony Maggots... But who knows Horror Vines might be best crop for this although buffs not work on these !!

What do you make out of Swamp Thing Quest is it worth doing or not. If so what is worth getting or you adopting my Strategy

 

Mooboy, you can deactivate the buff. One TB will be lost and you will get 7 back into your barn. I tested it with carrot bread and PPP. When cancelled it, 6 carrot breads came back to my barn and 1 got lost.

 

Can someone tell me how you make food for the darklight Firefly Lair ..cannot find them in the mill

Yes. That is correct, Nellie.

 

While this is true, and it will provide more as a result, the ultimate goal is to get to that 202 mark. I considered the 2x1 approach as well, but decided against it as there are many farmers who cannot yet spare an additional 46 SG just to get a little further ahead. I write my suggestions/plan to fit newer farms, as I have to assume those are the ones who need the most help.

 

Which is why I love your posts so much.

 

Not being able to puchase the new stuff from Jack's Shop right away, this seems to be the goal to achieve first. After nuking the 10 seeds given twice on 10 2*2 fields, given this is a 4 day event, I decided to dedicate no more as 40 1*1 MM fields towards the event crop and to use the remaining fields to grow spooky crops with a longer base time (Spotted Horror and the such).
Right now, only eight hours after the start of the mini-event and I'm already about half way on getting the goodies I aim for: 570 Vines, 61 maggots.
The hassle it takes to harvest 2 different timed crops on MM seems worthwhile. I think I'll stick to the 40 plots for the Event crop and will see what other goodies I'll get from it.

yes 34 drops on gloe mole 4 magic tree's for 38 morning harvest. i going to see what happen's overnight.

 

working on 3 farms and it looks like the 1 without animals has the highest drop rate going to remove them from the other farms have more crops farms on drops look like this 1 with 70 drops so far has only 3 trees down other has 5 trees and 4 animals drop at 58 other 1 at 2 animals and 4 trees at 54 drops all started with glowmolds this morning.

 

3 Farms Holy Cow, one is more than enough, if i had to deal with three ~edit~

 

my mom internet is off and my daughter works nite shift now so i jump in to help them

 

End of Day 1 Update: 472 Horror Vines & 103 Moony Maggots.
Set MM field with 4 Dark Firefly pens & 11 trees & 175 1x1 plots of Darkshadow Blooms overnight.
Will do 6 rounds of 175 plots of event crop, should be enough to finish event if I can get enough drops.
Almost 1/3 of the 325 needed so feeling hopeful.
