The Eggs Factor Strategy Thread

I posted this question in the General Issues Form...

I'm a bit confused. Please straighten me out.
Under Seasonal gifts (where we usually find event drops to give out I see a flower titled No Treespassing but when reading the FAQ the drop for this event is Egg Pendant.
What does this mean? Why does the seasonal gift not match up with the event drops as usual?

Have any of you noticed this???

I don't understand the NO trespassing either ...not very seasonal

 

Hi Frootloop! The new seasonal giver is a semi-permanent giver we can send our neighbors (semi-permanent in that it will stay in the gifts selection until BP decides to remove it). It's like Hi-bear-nation, not related to any event. The event drops won't appear in the seasonal gifts until the event starts. Hope this helps.

Aaaa OK I was unaware we were getting another one of them. Just hopped on to the farm and looked in my deco and there is was it's really cute. Thanks for the information. Now I know

 

The No Treespassing is a 1x2 giver that can be placed on a CR a much better option than the Mummy's we got from Jack's Shop. Not part of the Easter event.

How did you come up with five harvests? Maybe I've got my math wrong, since I have pens and trees. I came up with roughly ten harvests. We can't use Bahamarama fields for the event crop.

I'm really grumpy about this event. HUGE drop amount and HUGE requirements for low drop crops. Both are only allowed on three fields. Just ridiculous. Do they even listen at all?

 

Yet another medium event. I didn't have the time to set up my farm as I was doing some other things, so we'll see how it all works out without getting a good start for drops.

Here's how many harvests for just the event crop using the nuke start:

A six hour event crop is quite disappointing. It just doesn't work with any schedule to minimize idle farm time. This also means you'd have to do at least one event crop round each day of the event with two on Saturday and another one on Sunday, that's just to finish the event crop. Drops on the other hand...we'll see. The CR crate isn't really all that good either since it's got so much fluff (Major difference between a Party Ticket or Harvest Helper Coupon and a Rose or Lilac). I don't see myself really trying for much on this event. (10 PF/3 Bananas/5 WT)

 

if I'm understanding you right you think we can only plant the event crops on the 3 fields which is true but as far as the drops we will get those from all 5 fields

As stated previously by others. we can plant event crops in the 3 main fields but the drops will come from all 5 fields. Once again, we choose whether or not to do an event. If it doesn't fit in your schedule or you don't like the looks of it, just don't do it Make money selling poo or other things that are needed for the event Good luck to all and I hope the Easter Bunny brings lots of pendants to us all!!

 

Initial harvest 214, and that was with fields of zucchinis...at least it wasn't grapes this time awesome start

I said full harvest, meaning the actual amount of harvests would be more as we need to build up crop. Decree has counted them much more accurate. I just did 588 (1x1plots mains) x 4(return with cac)/ 12 000 (amount needed) = 5,1. Very very basic, much better read threads from wise and clever people than mine. Luckily there are plenty of those posting here

 

Have 55 drops so far ...but have some crops to harvest ...but am not holding my breath i will reach a 100 with them

260 drops from all 5 fields on first harvest (mainly trees)

 

Carnation, and made sure all trees were ready for harvests, the few pens I had out where long timers, 10h++ (except Bahma, epic fail there) First field, all carnation, gave me 66 drops. Now I'll go on slow dropwise, as I need to franatically need to build up those 10K crops. I sold all I managed to grow yesterday, made 5 mill

Got the stables and the trees so far

 

I have 249 drops to start ! had trees long pens carnations and two fields in comfort fields as I was traveling yesterday and didnt know what my farming ability would be.

 

I got 221 drops on first harvest: all fields with animals and trees. Baha main field gave me a whopping 58 Easter Pendants (Koalas, Pandas, Toucans). I was pretty pleased with this till I reminded myself the target daily amount was 370!

Oh well, will do one long crop overnight, two lots of event crops most days (late weekend shift so only one event crop harvest on those two days) and keep the other three fields as is unless I get really close when I will reconsider my very laid back (and slightly bored) strategy!

Hi Moraine, please bear with me as math is not my strong suit by any means, if we use the small 1x1 plots it adds up to more harvests? Just wanted to make sure I have that correct before I put them in, thanks! I'm also using CAC.
