Initial harvest netted 352 drops using menagerie, rose hips, honeydew and best trees. :) Best of luck to all participating!

My first harvest yield was 287. Never had anything like it.
Main - 3 fields 1x1's carnations with event trees (not apple) around the edge.
Baha - mix of animal and manufacture pens and trees. Rainforest - all trees.
I need to build up my trees because a lot of them went into the last crop Trophy. I still have two animal Trophies to finish but the
4 I just completed wiped out most of my critters.
May the drops continue to rain on us all. :)

I got 336 drops to start, from carnations and honeydew in 1x1s. The drops from the event crop don't seem too bad either. I have 404 already today. :) I hope the good drops continue for everyone. It would be nice not to have to worry about them for a change.
I thought I was the only one who found the pink bunny a bit creepy. I think it's all those teeth o_O I gave him a little makeover. He's still no Peter Cottontail but... What do you think? :p

I got 311 drops from initial harvest using 1x1's with about 20 trees here and there. Planted rosehips and honeydews. No howies, just the CR that increases drops.

Moraine and gardengal, when using 1x1's , how you calculate is 588 x 3 not 4 bc you are taking 588 and replanting them. So you would get 1,764 to put in your barn. When it is your last harvest, then you can count it as 588 x 4 (or 2352 in crops) This is using CAC. Hope this doesn't confuse you
Edit: have 340 drops, 3 of those are gifts. I thought it was just my comp giving me a hard timexDxD Cleared everything and refreshed:sleepy::sleepy: I figure the time we save watering the crop might just get used up in trying to harvest themo_O:eek::wuerg:xD

I agree. I have never used the veggie CR before thanks for reminder. I needed to use it this time. I was low on cress, wheat and carrots. I took care of that first thing today.

I read the FAQ yesterday morning but was too busy to even harvest yesterday. I ended up starting this event with probably 80-90% pens on my fields. The rest trees. Not all squares occupied. After I started a 12h coupon today I harvested the pens and trees. Farms got 204/203/203 drops, includes Howies and magic trees mentioned in previous event strategy threads. They upped the drop rate for this event. The previous couple of events I was getting in the 30s for Main, Meadow. For this event I gleaned in the 40s. Because of that... for this event it's best to use the smallest plots possible to get the most drops. If you don't have Farm Machinery and are using CAC the best results will be if you do NOT use large plots for your long overnight crops during this event, use either medium or small plots. Plot size won't make a lot of difference for drops from event crops.

Since I got more than half the daily average, 367/2=183.5, from my initial harvest... I'm not worried about drops... yet...lol :)

I've nuked the first round and nuked minus SSG the second round. Second round is almost ready. [Second round done. Time for lunch and gardening.]

I think newbies should do as much of the right and left as possible and get the stable and tree and other goodies. It's easy if you have Farm Machinery and CAC. Torturous without. lol

I'm going to be using 12h coupons. 6h crop w/ water = 4:48h. I'll only be able to get two rounds of event crops a day from it. I might plant rose hips w/ water at night. Today I will only manage one round of event crops in addition to the two nuked rounds and the piddly short-length crops.

    Here's the OA, oldman:
    https://board-en.farmerama.com/index.php?threads/new-seasonal-neighbour-gift.27516/
It's a good idea to read the OAs on a regular basis. Despite the fact that I've been neglecting that habit...lol

I didn't even notice the looks of the bunny. You're right it is kinda creepy. I prefer the looks of real bunnies. They have small mouths, very difficult to see their molars. And eyes on opposite sides of their heads, not giant cartoonish human-ish forward facing eyes.

    For each large plot:
    1 seed produces 5 seeds *44 /field = 220 minus 44 - 176 net seeds
    1 seed w/ PJam running produces 6 seeds *44/field = 264 minus 44 = 220 net seeds
    1 seed w/ CAC running produces 7 seeds *44/field = 308 minus 44 = 264 net seeds

    For each medium plot:
Results are ROUGHLY halfway in between

    For each small plot:
    1 seed produces 2 seeds *200 (round number)/field = 400 -200 (for replanting) = 200 net seeds
    1 seed w/ PJam running produces 3 seeds *200 /field = 600 -200 = 400 net seeds
    1 seed w/ CAC running produces 4 seeds *200 /field = 800 -200 = 600 net seeds

By using small, or medium, plots instead of large plots you accumulate seeds faster. By using PJam or CAC numbers accumulate even faster.

    Happy Easter, y'all!
Hope we all find the golden egg... LOL! ;)

    EDIT:
One strategy for lower level players is to buy 63 apple trees. That's enough to finish first step of left side in 12h. One can keep the apple trees out and sell all the excess fruit or remove them and place 63 plum trees, harvest in 20h. Repeat as desired. Make lots of coins, get some drops, get some prizes with or without event crops. Do as much as you have time for and build up the farm so that it is in better shape for next event. Trees only need to be harvested once a day to make money. As soon as they're ready, if you're worried about drops.

    EDIT2:
I was just looking at this thread:
    https://board-en.farmerama.com/index.php?threads/faq-farmerama-crops.10514/
It's not completed. Maybe PnP can fill it in... or one of the other higher level players... Has me thinking maybe I should start working on EP again... but... I don't buy Farm Machinery anymore so... forget it.

The Easter bunny is not really a bunny but Max the Hamster.;) While this guy is not creepy to me, I do like the one Sunny posted.

That explains the zipper! xD:p Max is much cuter as a hamster.
I got the 3rd giver for the Candy Cloud Row:inlove: That's all I really wanted, but the drops are so good I think I'll keep going.
I hope everyone is doing well!

I got 286 drops and that was with an error, i neglected to feed some of my stables.... oops! I am quite happy with the drop ratio, perhaps this time it will be different. Good luck and have fun!

I neglected to note how many drops I got with the first harvest, but 12 hours into the event I have 553 drops (370 is the required daily average). Granted that's including the big first harvest, but this event looks like it's going to be reasonably easy to complete despite the huge numbers of drops required.

I am not getting near the drops that everyone is mentioning here even with my long growing crops. (?) I'll keep playing around with different ones to see what works. I have 187 drops for the day. So far I tried daffodils (12:23 hr crop), radishes (6:30 hr crops), & protea (10 hr crop) on 1x1 fields with CAC. (And my animals & trees of course.) Next I'll try crop squares, oyster mushrooms, hazelnuts, & kohlrabi overnight & hope I see better drops tomorrow morning.

gardengal, if your trophies arent in the LL rune, make sure you are moving them to each field and letting them sit on each field for about 10-15 seconds before harvesting. 614 drop total:D:D

after my morning harvest (onions) I have 612 pendants, so for me it looks doable, but not much room for dropping the ball, or egg. Which is a bit sad cos I'm much better at messing up than not xD

I have 814 drops so far, roses, onions and habanero (Baha). Looks doable for me too. xD

Roses gave the best amount of drops for me.

    Good luck everyone:)
