Money, Money... Money Ccs, CCs, CCs wish I would have waited for this event, instead of playing the last one. I have been hoarding my SS and for whatever reason I was using it up the last event. Really getting a feel for all those wonderful "Nuking" tips I have been reading about here on the forms. Trying different things and combinations of fields, buffs and such. Living large hehehehehe
Now I'm paying oh well it's all knowledge earned
Going to have to paly some of the event right off to make some cash so I can go buy some overpriced CAC need to grow, grow, grow... and growing is what I'm doing and have been using up the ones I received during last event (gift&reward thanks again to all who helps with drops and pantry items). I need to grow low and medium time crops I have mad crazy long time crops from the last couple event. Well, I'm just going to have to take this one as it comes.
I just got all my trees, Arthropod & Mammals out again and I'm not taking them back down... nope I will not, not this time BUT dang I sure could use some money CCs. Hope the stables, trees and event crops are giving good drops. I'll grow what I can of the event crops on the land I'm using to restocking my barn and making feed. Stocking up on feed; going for 5-6 hundred each and 300 for the animals I don't have. Doing this so I can go on a PF blending spree for the whole month of the mill script and see how much I can make in a month. (if anyone knows please tell me if not I'll report back sometime in maybe June.
Ok well, we all got lots of farmland to tend so let me stop rambling on... I'm not going to the SOS. Things go how things go there are just too many events all piled up; they should back it up a little bit so we can breath one week on - one week off LOLsomething... but if I can put it out there right here and now???...
I'll take all the help I can get ya'll.

This is the 4th event with the same theme and event mechanics so most of us knew what to expect, but a lot of people were confused when the FAQ came out for the very first event. I can see why it would be confusing to someone who has never seen this type of event before.
Thank you, Moraine, for clearing up the misunderstanding.

Unfortunately, even if you already have the Lights Out item, you'll still end up having to light all 16 lanterns to get the other 2 givers and the cloud row.

I'm now at level 63 and I have collected 89 drops, yay! My humble strategy is to get at least 270 drops and 5760 Glowberries all in all (If I counted correctly). My aim is to turn on the lanterns giving CC's - earning about 1183000 CC's (again, if I counted correctly)... I have handed in my albino bats, angora wool, lemons and sheep - which did cost me a bit as I had to buy them, but now it's done! After purchasing the Candy CR, I should have 433000 CC's left which will make me richer than I've ever been - so here is for hoping!
My slightly more ambitious strategy is to get all the prizes and the CR Oh well, we'll see. I might have to lend that paddle, Nellie_Noodles and Moraine


Edit: 40 drops requirement pr. 24 hour period for my humble plan. That must be possible, fingers crossed!

Not even 8 hours after the event started I just did lit latern #16, toughest one imho, and added the half million CC to my balance. It seems to me the drop rate is decent and when using long time crops or Event crops on comfort fields overnight (nuked with water, manure and super grow, these comfort fields take 6,5 hrs growtime) this event seems very do able without any Event stress.

Despite this being yet another glowworm based event (what's BP up to?) I wish everyone a happy Farm Bingo!

I will try this event on only 3 fields, using rainforest and magical glade for stocking up my barn.
We will see, how it goes or if I have to switch to 4 fields.

At a little under the 24 hour stage, I have 315 Thermos Flasks, 22 of which were gifts and 3 from Magic Trees - not bad. methinks. Planted one field each of Rye and Spelt overnight and both fields gave me 29 drops.

I have left the Glade and Baha with animals and trees, mainly longer maturity times but not intentionally, just what I need at the moment.

Played very badly but did get my Pet Dragon and have it laid up in my Park till it is ready to hatch!

I am completely skipping this event.. too much going on in RL.

so far I've got 310 drops including gifts from my friends and neighbours I did 2h crop yesterday and didn't think the drops was too shabby from those. Probably do some 2-3h crop before planing the overnighties later on.

 

Doing ok so far this event. Drop rate has been... strange... though. All 1x1s on 3 fields, glade, main and baha, with 4 full harvests of event crops so far. Main has given 7-8-16-10; glade is 12-14-10-15; baha 14-13-11-13. Main has always given me far more drops than main, that it's the opposite this time around is well, strange!

Still got bees and trees on the meadow, not giving up my bees for anything! Drops there are random as it depends on what's ready besides the bees when I harvest.

I've gotten the biggies out of the way already though, and only need to make another 4 backpacks. Had to buy the crazyily priced bats and some wool, but the 554k from the 12 backpacks helped offset that. I have enough thermos' for the last backpacks, so only need another 550 to go...

You know, I really need to read things closer or get more sleep(probably both) I just realized this event is only 5 days--not 6. After re-reading zero's post, I saw drops were 170 a day, not 150. Way too many things going on and overlapping I would like to get the BB's from recyclomat but....(sighs)

Doh! But hey, I only have about 4850 event crops and about 400 drops to go till I get the whole field lit. Making good progress.

I agree on the drops seemingly being way too random per field. A harvest of event crops on 100 1x1 squares in Magical Glade provided me almost twice as many drops as I got from a full, 202 1x1 squares in Main Field. Wish BP made it easier to calculate/particpate on, like 1 in 4 6hr event crop fields = 1 drop or something the like.

Anyways, remind to use your longest growtime crops overnight to boost your drop totals. I'll try to remind myself to do so too!

I am a third of the way finished on event crops and half way on drops! Hope things continue going well. I am making myself wait until event crops are completed before starting the milling, so I don't go over.
