Notes

• You will receive a mammal or arthropod badge for each completed breeding. Each breeding also comes with a chance of receiving an additional badge from the other category, which means the actual amount of power-feed needed will be slightly less than the amount stated at the top of this post (440).
  
• There are 5 photos in total. The first 4 can be done in any order, but all 4 need to be completed in order to unlock the fifth and final photo for extra rewards.
• Although the photos can be completed in any order, the first two photos should be a priority because you will need the ylang-ylang trees from step 2 in photo 1 and/or step 3 in photo 2 in order to grow the 40 ylang-ylang flowers needed for step 1 in photo 4.

 

Not for me, time to restock and no doubt there will be a baby boom event somewhere along with this event will focus on that for next breeding event.

This event has some attractive rewards mainly butterfly house upgrade, perfumery and ylang ylang tree but it's going to drain a lot of my precious power feed. I already have pink bee hive upgrade and butterfly house. Perfumery red upgrade is horribly expensive to acquire. Interestingly there isn't a cloud row for this event so getting the great hunter (deco) is optional if you don't have 2 bumblebees.
I happen to have the exact number of bred bees required in my inventory (3 hamster bee & 2 bumble bees - lucky me) but even then I'm thinking if it's worth donating them since I don't really need another 2 ylang ylang trees or another deco item.

So my game plan for now is to get as much reward as I can without spending too many power feeds. My strategy is to only complete certain levels for each photo:

Photo 1- Until Level 3
Photo 2- Until Level 2
Photo 3- Until Level 3
Photo 4- Level 1

If my calculations are correct, I only need to use 130 Power Feeds for this event to collect all the decent prizes. I'm going to pass on Level 5 simply because the rewards are repetitive.
Anyway, feel free to follow my strategy if you want to maximize reward with the least number of power feeds spent.

 

I have filled up my love shack with Pandas, Monkeys, Camels and Bees. Not sure if I will complete the event but I am hoping to get some of the Baha breeding animals I need to finish the Castles in the Sand FSQ.

I am also hoping that those extra badges will be forthcoming so that I don't use every drop of PF I have. I do wish they had given us PF as a prize. I don't even have my Perfumery out - the Butterflies needed don't justify feeding the workshop!

I will not harvest until they announce a BB - but I'm ready!

The Other things aren't worth giving my barn away for.... have 5 red behives ( you have given me in wonder stables)...have 2 hamster bees... have 5 butterfly houses and Have a perfumery... Am happy with what I have ....I don't need them to be red
IF I did ....i can go to the workshop for the red Bee
And I am NOT the biggest fan of Baby Doomer
So I can catch up on some farming the rest of the event
My stickers don't get stuck ...they go on the source row...the Album is full up...

I could be wrong and have misunderstood the FAQ but when it says we can complete the photos in any order, I think it means we can choose any of the 1-4 but I think we have to complete the steps within the photo so it appeared to me that we did have to get the sticker in order to also get the 2 trees.

I hope not cause that is expensive glue to hold the sticker in my photo album!

Disappointed! The prizes aren't worth the amount of SF! Will complete just photo 1 because of the item and the tree.

I've never seen the ylang-ylang trees - so does anyone remember when were they last offered? I've been playing for two years now on my other farm and about 18 months on this farm.

I think I'm with Flower - going to complete the candy surprise cloud row and maybe the second photo to get the total of 3 ylang-ylang trees and then call it good.

 

Going for tree and the candy-giver. Haven't been a huge participator for those breeding events. I have far too many of of breeding quests left. So bare minimum here.

But we need 95 arthropod badges, which can only be gotten by breeding bees. So that adds 380 bees to what's needed, for a total of 503 bees. At least I think that's right, I just got up so listen at your own peril, lol.

 

I have lots & lots of parrot feathers, so I'll be donating about 355 of those to make up the products needed. that won't be so painful as emptying the rest of my products out of my barn.

this will be quite hefty already as there are 660,000 worth of PRODUCTS to be donatedand I don't have not even in the region of 500,000
But I need that giver!! otherwise the whole cloudrow was wasted (VR-)money and time to get the CC together to buy it.

This cloudrow buy was actually a 2in1 offer: FIRST and LAST!

but I won't go any further with the event than the giver.

Think I am starting to be a flower gardener. growing my things in MY way and when I want.
Participating in future Events? I don't know yet.

Seems for me, that I won't spend as much time as I did up to now.

Yikes, I don't have any where near the amount of products needed, so I'm going to have to buy oh, 99% of the amount required. There goes the CC I just got from the Firefly event! Before I go throw my money around, does anyone know if that includes Baha products, or just main?

At least I'm ready for the breeding, I've had 25 bee stables out the past month or so, so now all I need is that baby boom day to hit.

Edit: I see products are are products, regardless of where they're produced. Hoping I can recoup some of my CC from selling bees eventually.

 

It seems Like before I can do to much breeding I will need a PF sale.

The ylang-ylang trees are new and are being offered for the very first time in the upcoming event.

We can get arthropod badges by breeding basic bees as well as any of the 7 other breeding bees - Nanny Bee, Forest Bee, Hamster Bee, Sentinel Bee, Ninja Bee, and Alien Bee. That's why I didn't add them to the official bee count.

I added the total number of arthropods and mammals needed for breeding next to the badge numbers, if that helps.
