Stopped after finishing the 2nd photo, to get CR giver and trees. Saving PF for the next breeding event and barn items for the next donation dump event. Best of luck to all in achieving your goals!:)

Even more unhappy with the requirements to get this last Candy Cloud Row giver than I was with the Recyl-o-mat event. Finished photo 1, got my cloud row item! Had to almost completely empty my barn of Baha animals plus had to buy the products. I was able to sell bees and recoup the cost of the products, but that's over a month of harvesting animals gone. Still debating if I'm going to do any more; I can probably do the breeding animal requirements, but do I want to? No real skips for me from the BBD this time around either, not from anything. :sleepy: Ho hum.

    This isn't a strategy ... rather a ?
When you hover the mouse over Butterfly, it indicates this is an *Arthropod*
Anyone have any ideas as to why it's not included for the event?

@saCactus1 Maybe because you can not breed it yet?! Just a guess!;)

Ok farmers, I have really really goofed. Jumped the gun and started donating without doing the math so excited to get a new tree. BUT here's the sad part :cry::cry: I'm falling thousands short of products and I have no idea how to find out the value of the products so I can maybe go buy some more stuff. I can't even check my inventory seeing that I throw all of most to the greedy photoshop :cry::cry:
So here' my question where do I go to find the value? If possible please include a link that I can save or come back to.

You are Right Moraine the candy row wasn't worth it
Would like to know the reason they are trying to empty our barns ?

WOW that's great Zero ... thank you... that will be a big help...i generally click 6 million times going in the barn to find them

Have learnt a lesson ...never to buy a row when it's being sold for cc's
My first instinct when it was offered wasn't to buy it ...wish i had stuck to that

Zero you are my Hero xDYou Are AWESOME :inlove: Thank you so very much for taking the time to put this together for me!! (and everything else you do too)
    Hope it helps others also.

Just in from work and have time to really look this over thanks again, however; it has made me sadder than ever  because now I can see I don't have what it takes for me to do anything. I need way, way too much stuff and it would cost me millions to get what I need and all the really high-value products are not even in the market.
    Oh well, lesson learned. ...
Don't be in a hurry and always look hard at the details. Not only did I waste all my stuff I should have gone right for picture # 2 that had two Ylang-Ylang trees to offer and more reasonable requirements. SHM I have been to the school of hard knocks. Like I'm sure every farmer here has done at least once o_Oone way or another.

I must be burned out from all that went on this month:wuerg::wuerg: I went ahead and bred enough to get the badges out of the way and then it hit me, no PF is being rewarded:eek:o_O:( Too late-.- I really hope May is easier with events:sleepy::sleepy: I love the Red Butterfly houses:inlove::music:

What I'd like to know is why just Bees? There are at least three other Arthropods: spider, worm, and butterflies and the info bubble will back that statement up. So why are they only using Bees? Is it because we can not breed them? Are we getting ready to be able to breed the butterflies? Thinking this because they are being used as an award.

LOL if they did that then they could change the Anteater feed and we would have to breed ants to mill feed for them ;)

Frootloopgrove. That because Spider and Glow worm are not Breeding Animals as Bees are Breeding Animals ;)

    @FrootloopGrove, @Nellie_Noodles.

    Happy to help. :)

Ouch, that's gotta hurt. :wuerg: I'm so sorry.

That's some good advice though. Always take the time to do the math before donating, because you won't get any of it back if you donate first and happen to fall short. Math is your friend, even if it may seem evil at times. :p

Btw, are you just looking for the products with the highest exchange value (EV), or are you also looking at how much you're paying per 1 CC in barn value (market price ÷ exchange value)? Because the latter is much more important when you're donating products based on barn value.

Take parrot feathers, for example. On my market, parrot feathers are being sold at about 2,550 CC per unit. Divide that by its EV and you get:

    2,550 ÷ 1,864 = 1.37 CC per EV

Compare that to the tiki totem - the product with the highest EV in the game - which is currently being sold on my market at around 28,013 CC per unit:

    28,013 ÷ 6,884 = 4.07 CC per EV

That means tiki totems are nearly 3 times more expensive per EV than parrot feathers. So if you donated 660,000 CC worth of tiki totems in the first photo, you would end up paying around 3 times more than what you would've paid if you donated 660,000 CC worth of parrot feathers.

I hope this makes sense. Dealing with some major brain fog atm. :sleepy:

I have finished the event though must admit to it being a little of an anticlimax. Just did it cos I had the stuff and it was at least an event I could do. Also, I am always a little wary when we are given upgrades that seem to have no connection with the actual event ... is something going to be happening with Butterflies soon?

Apologies if someone has found some rumours about this that I haven't seen and PLEASE don't take too much notice and react to my wonderings ... there is no basis for my thoughts , just a little curiosity! :p

I will be working from now till Monday so will not be doing any more breeding. Hope May brings some good events with worthwhile prizes! :inlove:
