Decided to go ahead and do photos 2-4, since I had enough breeding animals as well as the bees already. Forgot to put out the ylang-ylang trees from photo 2 last night though, doh! Skipping photo 5 completely though, the requirements just aren't worth the rewards for me, since I'd have to burn the rest of my barn to do so.

The only good thing about this event has been having fields free to build up crop stocks again.

Level 1 of photo 4 done + photo 1, 2 and 3. Maybe I should have skipped photo 3, but hey... at least the red butterfly is cute :inlove: :D I will not be doing any more of this event - it's really great to chill for a few days ;)

That statement made me bust out laughing hahahahxD

"What you talkin' about Willis" giggle (do you know/remember that show?)
I'm not even really sure the lesson you are trying to teach me.?
I understand the math you're doing ;) that's not the problem. I'm just not sure what the point is. Maybe I'm... no wait I know I am a bit dense  and I really have no idea what I'm to learn here and I KNOW it's important.
Think we need to start at the beginning, for my understanding. If you will and you have a few more minutes.? Thanks
OK so I started here... I choose picture one
(my first mistake, should have taken pic two. Not that that would have mattered I'm a poor young farm trying to make and replenish my stocks of everything. o_Ooops... sorry... yes focus:wuerg:)
it showed needing Products and the Progress (Value) 660,000.
Not really sure where market value come in... ...wait...slow light bulb....maybe are you telling me ...nope no light, the bulb was blown
I'm sorry Zero to be so dense . It might not hurt to talk to me like a 2nd grader :p sincerely mean that right now too.

Does the lesson only apply if I have to purchase the items or should I ply this math even if I'm donating items from my barn? o_O
    Thanks

PS thanks for including the FAQ links :)

Market value, Country Coins (CC), is primarily of value if you are buying or selling. If you are buying items to donate to an event... calculate the ratio of CC to Exchange Value (EV found in the barn) to determine unit cost CC/EV. Also use it to avoid donating your most valuable items. Similar to going to the grocer. If I'm going to buy... something is it better to buy 12 ounces for $1 or 10 ounces for $.90? Price per ounce would be the unit cost. In reality I usually buy the one that tastes better or perform better but... get the point?

I was busy the day before the event started, exhausted when I got home. Got up in the morn and almost forgot about event. Logged in and bred all those critters in time to get the last of the badges 3 minutes before BBDay ended. Whew!

My strategy was very similar to Madam/Mademoiselle Illy. As a long time player that is addicted to events... and I usually don't bother much with the market, I had plenty of brown pigs, brownie sheep and albino bats to donate. I don't use tree mulch or SSG on trees very often but I did for this event. I was finished the next day. Been taking a break from this farm ever since. Been outside yardening and loving it. A look at the May Preview Calendar has me thinking it might be a bit grueling...

oldman, your last comment was beyond disgusting and contributed nothing to game strategy. I fail to understand how someone who professes to hate the game so much continues to waste time playing it. I also suspect its not the true source of your anger. I hope you find some peace and happiness in your real life so we aren't stuck reading such nastiness.

I didn't do any breeding either 12ss12. Just wasn't worth it.

SuzeeRabbit- Just because someone doesn't express themselves in the same way as you,
does not mean they are disgusting and not contributing. Furthermore; There are ALOT of people in this forum who complain and complain about every event. Not enough drops, too many event plants, omg another sticker?!
Why do they continue to play?!
Personally I think oldman is hilarious. Straight forward and to the point.
The world is full of different people. Maybe you need to learn some tolerance.
This is why I do not post in this forum anymore~
    Enough said...

LOL yea I usually go for taste and performance myself ;)
Yes, talking grocery I get that :p(my life hehe) Thanks for the help, SuzeeR

Little by little I'm learning more and more. I keep reading and asking dopey questions and I'm so thankful for the people patient to answer them.
I couldn't do any part of the event, do to my own stupid bumble :( but I did breed and I ended up with 64 badges. That will give me a little bit of pocket change ;):D Got a couple nice skips one each: Abracadebra Rabbit, Sea Horse, Flying
Fish, Hampster & Bumble Bee and a Sun Peacock. So all and all I'm ok with how things ended up. A little light on workshop products now I that just means I have work to do =] Only bad thing is I didn't get even one Ylang-Ylang tree :(
:inlove: BUT I'm having fun and learning xD

I busted out laughing when I read that. Knowing this I got such a laugh on when I read we could be getting up to 5 this coming event xD
    I
:inlove:the stickers finished reading your post. I was wondering where you have been.

Some people like the sticker... some don't... donating 70.000 from my barn for this...that doesn't give anything in return ...that gets stuck in an album never to been seen again ... I cannot see the point of having it
Have better things to do in the game then to earn this ;) IF it was added to the end of an event then people would at least have a choice to get or not...BUT it isn't

AND i do enough sticking stickers in an album with the childrenxD

I did a little breeding for FS i am working on...the skips wasn't that great

    Nellie,
I'm sorry I laughed but 5 of them I couldn't help myself. It's like a Sticker Event and I just put up all my trees :(so guess who going to miss out on all those wonderful stickers:cry:
I know you don't like the sticker and I agree with you in the fact about how much they cost. I find myself %#@^*ing about how much I have to spend/do for it BUT there I am doing it anyway SMH. I don't agree with you that they should come at the end because I can mostly never complete an event. I just feel you should get them for free if you do ANYTHING at all related to the event. Plant a seed you should get the sticker as a participation gift ;)
    Happy Farming:D
PS I see, deep down you really like stickers and use the children as an excuse to play with them :p xDxDxDhahahahah
    Just joking;)

    Thanks for your help but,
For now, I think I'm ok and I'm also trying to figure out the Artisan Shops and how to level up on them Point - Value... SMH everything here is confussin' :po_OI guess until you try your hand at it. ;)
I'll most likely be back later with more questions. I started a thread
Artisan Crafting Help in game related chit chat. Maroine has been helping me there but I just posted a new added question. Maybe you could have a look too. I find sometimes you can never get too much advice. :D

Ok, I'm putting in my 2 cents worth. Yes, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and yes, different people are what makes the world go around. oldman shared his opinion and another opinion was given about that. Those of us who have a brain know what was being said by oldman and I was hoping it wouldn't go any further. You're not happy with the CR. Don't buy the next one that's offered. I am happy to see Suzee posting again and would be upset if she went away again over this. Please let it go!! If you're not happy with what's posted in this forum, then.......

When stickers were first available I found them useful because with my lousy memory... I would see people discussing a previous event and I couldn't remember if I participated. But after the first year... I haven't paid any attention to them.

Actually after I reached level 90 I pretty much stopped paying attention to EP, TEP/BEP, and all other rewards or the cost to acquire them. I only read the FAQ far enough to determine what is needed to complete the event. I skim them so fast that I frequently find myself thinking... wow good thing someone mentioned that I almost messed up the event. LOL! Except to keep track of crops/drops/etc during events the rest has become unimportant to me. I don't participate in the sales, trades, or all the side events, I can't even remember what they're called, lol. I don't worry about my CCs either until I get really low then I run to market. I don't care too much what they ask us to donate in exchange for whatever rewards. I am confident in my ability to finish events after all these years. I prefer to see the requested donations as CHALLENGES. I'm not always happy with those challenges. But I try to take them on as an opportunity for growth. If they ever ask so much that it interferes too much with RL I will quit playing. I know that have any giver/CR does add to the EP/TEP/BEP/CC that they, over time, are worth the effort. I do my best to help those that are struggling. Sorry, I don't have time to send gifts either.

I participate in events with as much mindlessness as is possible. LOL! I'm just a trained rat with FOCD addicted to the pointless events. I do it because I find the game a good way to compress from my very stressful life.

Yes, anyone who has been reading my posts for the past 5, 6, 7? years knows that I'm intolerant of bullying and any vulgarity on this FAMILY FRIENDLY FORUM. There are children reading these posts. It's up to the adults to behave like adults. It's probably fair to say everyone has expressed displeasure with some aspect of this game, myself included. I do not think this game is even close to perfect. But IT IS DARN FUN! The vast majority of players say something akin to... I don't have time for the requirements for this event. Not participating. OR I don't think the requirements are worth the rewards. Not participating. OR My young farm can't make all the donations for this event.

IMO, a mature educated adult should be capable of expressing their displeasure without bullying, vulgarity or likening the game to an extreme form of torture that is probably banned by the Geneva Convention, etc.

Yes, oldman, I sit to play the game. I do experience serious pain while I sit and play but, not for the vulgar reason you suggest. I get why 8-10 year old boys might snicker at something like that. I do not understand how an adult get find humor in someone else's pain. For me to stand would be too painful and dangerous. It seems I finally got Medicare to pay for a rolling walker, awaiting delivery. I have chronic health problems that predate my time playing this game. Sitting for as much as a half hour causes my legs and feet to swell badly. When I sit down at the computer my feet will be swimming in my house shoes. Half an hour later the straps of my Birkenstock's on the loosest setting have deep imprints in my feet and my legs hurt a lot. This problem got worse after chemo. It's gotten dramatically worse since the fire and trying to cleanup up the mess and work long hours to accommodate the people I had to hire. I have to get up and walk around to get the juices flowing. I also have arthritis in my lower spine that is made worse from sitting. Lots of clicking aggravates the lymphedema in my arm from my cancer surgery a little more than three years ago. Again I get up and move around and do other things to get the juices flowing.

There is research that says that the happiest people are the ones that are grateful for what they have. I have not consciously adapted that attitude as well as I could in my real life but... I guess one could say that is my Farmerama style. I have gray CRs from when I went through surgery and chemo but have never tried to obtain the missing pieces. I'm not on any top 10 list because I feel my time is too precious to invest more than event time to the game. Etc. Try it...

Not saying it's a bad thing to strive for more or provide constructive criticism of improvements for the game or RL situations/desires. That is a good thing, actually.

Peace... love... happiness... It's a good thing. No recreational drugs necessary!
