Events

I was thinking for a change that maybe BP could come up with some different types of games based on:

Hangman: a word based on the game
Cryptogram: an entire sentence or phrase based on the game
Word Find: Find words in a block of letters
Hidden Object: Find certain items in the different area of your Farmerama fields, City, Artisans' Village, etc.
Logic Problem Games: solve different types of puzzles

All of these would be based on the game and the guesses could be bought by donating event crops (*** crops per guess or letter for hangman/cryptogram) (*** crops per guess for word find or hidden object) or they could just be given as a "freebie" as a break in the normal game play.

 

I like that idea...BUT...
How shall it work with word based events, as Farmerama is an international worldwide game. Words to be searched for then have to be in different languages etc. Don't know, if this would work.

Hidden objects or logic problem solving events would work and would also be something completely different to the events as they are at the moment.

I didn't really think about the language issue when I suggested it so I don't know if they could do it but maybe they could if they did words used n Hangman and Cryptogram for each forum. Word Find would be easier because you are just looking for the letters in a row (although it would be easier to find if it were in your language).

 

Hidden objects sounds like fun

 

Hidden objects yes, word games no
Reason being against word games:

• Too many version of English all with their different spelling and slight different meaning.
  
• Too many different languages, and the same difficulty as above can be said about other langauges as well.
  
• Many players play Farmerama in a foreign language. Some might understand the basic text, some might struggle even with that.
  
• Dyslectic people. An interesting fun fact: you might be dyslectic with the latin alphabet but not a sign based one like Chinese and visa versa.
  
• Personally I think it strays too far away from the core game which is farming.

Finding lost sheep around your farm is something we have sort had a lot of times, it's okay. Finding tools you get to keep could spure some farmers on, and make it feel very optional. What logic kind you are having in mind ? How to save those lost sheep ? need to get them out of the maze, down the ladder..., mind the bushes, pick thorns out of the fleece ?
