New Baby reindeer to my herd

    BLZ .. Eye colour can kind of change in reindeer throughout the year, except for albino's (which he isn't but his mother is) not sure on that one yet, not sure WHY he'd keep blue eyes???!
    Katya is also quite pale...
    But guessing the outcomes of breeding is a genetic lottery. There will be several recessive genes (albino for one). The brown must be dominant.. Face marking, I am presuming a recessive too. I don't know yet.. It's far easier in dogs (or peas??? ;) ) trying to work out genetics --- you can get a good idea in one generation not an entire life!

    That would be a lot of name for a tiny baby raindeer to live up to.

    8) ?? You cannot see the photos I posted of Jeeves and Wooster?? I'm at a loss, as they show up for me... Does anyone else see them, or not??

    Nope, nor me. All I can see is two IMG place markers with a broken bar across each little picture icon. Sorry farmlily but it looks like broken links I think.

    Sorry farmlily, no picture for me. I was looking forward to seeing them to understand the reference. :)
    I have seen many of your picture, many, many... so this makes no sense. :eek:

    8)Thank you everyone for letting me know!:inlove: I used the same method as usual, so I'm puzzled as to why they do not show. Could it be from the other end?? Maybe they don't want their pictures downloaded??
    I'm so disappointed - they are such good pictures...very explanatory, and shows them well.:( It is odd that I can see them there, quite well! o_O I'll try again - please let me know if you can see these!! :);)

    Thanks Lily for photo's. For all who don't know, Jeeves is the sensible butler in stripped trousers. Bertie Wooster is the wayward aristocrat that Jeeves has to keep in line. :)

    I'm sure you all recognise Freddy, who thinks he's far too grown up for Mischa's ministrations!

    But just so that you can start to recognise Tigga and Jeeves apart. Tigga, like Freddy, looks as if they have had their noses in a saucer of milk, whereas Jeeves has a brown nose.

Missed seeing them - a lot!:inlove: Freddy does look like he is getting a little lighter...what a beautiful coat he has! Tigga's coat looks like it almost glows! And Jeeves has on his dark suit...Lol!:inlove:
    Any ideas when the next sweet little baby might arrive??:music:

    Elsa, at the earliest (if she goes full term) 28th May +, so ages. Katya I am expecting sometime next week.
    Not a great photo but the only one I have of the two "Ladies in Waiting" over the last couple of days.
