Strategy Frisbee Dog Competition

Interesting... I always have the impression drops are linked to XP. Well I'm too poor to invest in green house refinement so water & manure it is. Yeah I'll put a request in the SOS thread. Pretty desperate for drops now.

Congrats Lily! How many have you donated to reach that level? In my bracket (99-100) you'd need to have contributed 102 (above the hundred for the cloud row) to get that high :-(
At the moment I've contributed....two. Still, I finished the cloud row!

got 28 more frisbees to make to get CR its going to be close. Will be my 1st Row so determined to get it, if not im sure theres another event around the corner!!!!!!!

 

Phew Fed 100 Frisbees to these Dogs....They just do not know when to stop LOL So I have now Entered into 200. As I will be going for it as i have surplus of 12,400 Frisboccoli ready to Mill at least another 100 more Frisbees.

Now need to up my Ante on Boosting Drop Rate of Chew Bone Stickers. I have Activated my Refinements on Lady's Bedstraw, Which normally takes 5 hours to reap. Tweeking using Refinements and Flower Buffs and Flower Cloud Row can grow these under 2 Hours 30 Mins if i use manure refinement almost down to 2 Hours Wow.....This is my alternative Strategy to gain as many Chew Bone Stickers as i can....I am reserving my Super Grow and Nuking Strategy until the last day....

I am sitting at 93 dogs entertained. Seem to be going slowly for some reason I know it's bc sometimes I'm just too tired to harvest on time After I hit the 100 mark I will have enough crops for 35 more times. Undecided if I want to grow more but I know that's not going to get me far in my bracket. So far I have only been able to get the 1hr harvester once. I am impressed by how far some of you guys have gotten!! Whoo hoo!!

Love playing with the pugs ...am a little bit behind in this event ....because of putting all the things back on a new computer ...so it a case of sowing growing put another program on .... back to sowing growing put another one on Grrr

Shimmer~It is a lot easier in my Bracket #4...there don't seem to be as many players. I'm now @ #31 - with a contribution of only 19 beyond the 100 needed to get in. The highest donation so far @ #1 is 205 (plus the original 100).

I messed up last night, forgot to put in overnighties before I went to bed. Result need to play catch up with drops. But I'm done with the cloud row, so it's no big deal. The bracket isn't filled either. So plenty room for more people

 

Wow, that wouldn't even get you onto the board in my catagory! The minimum needed is 30, and going up FAST.

I'm not on the board because I've not switched to long overnight crops so I'm not getting enough drops. My plan is to wait for the last 24 hours and then activate instant Carnations for the drops...and zoom up the board at the last minute.

Of course, a lot of the other players in the level 99-100 group will also have instant Carnations and be planning the same thing. Fingers crossed! I do have just under 17,000 surplus crops at the minute, but I can't be certain that will be enough to place.

There are only 2 UK players ranked in the 99/100 category just now. We have got there through honest play and hard work - much as I have tried I cannot get that last carnation refinement so maybe you shouldn't presume that we are all as lucky as you have been...

Plotting to 'jump the queue' at the very last moment and also trying to brag about it too isn't really in the spirit of the game is it?

 

I made it to the list - #145 with 6 extra - we will see if I can stay there. Congratulations to all who have so far - Good Luck to ALL.

 

I'm sorry you feel using greenhouse refinements isn't honest play or hard work. I found it pretty hard work getting the greenhouse refinement in the first place.

I'm also not trying to jump the queue and I wasn't meaning to brag about it, again I'm sorry if it came across that way. It's a function of using the instant carnations thing that you can only do it at the last minute, or you won't know how many drops you need and might end up wasting supergrow or falling short of drops. I won't be able to donate frisbees til the last minute because I won't have them til then, not because I've got that as a strategy.

I'm not paying for supergrow either by the way, that's from having my Super Jumbo trees out most of the time. In fact I'm not spending any real money on this event - I don't even have the harvester subscription.

This is my first time with any sort of shot at a top-whatever event. I think I got a bit over competitive and I apologise if I came on too strong. I hope you do place in the top 200, and that if I do place there you feel you can include me amongst the hard working UK players.

 

Fair play to you Shimmer x, that was a lovely reply and like you, this is my first shot at getting somewhere in an event like this too.

I maybe got a bit too defensive about the only two of us in the running from the UK game too, if you'd been the other I'd have got on my high horse to defend you too though.
