It would be great if we could have the ability to temporarily deactivate/disable the breeding rune when we are seeking to only obtain the next breeding level.

As an example, today, after the baby boom, I was after a punkoo cuckoo from breeding my only four mustachioed cuckoos. Normally I like skips but not at this time. I unfortunately received an unwanted bee cuckoo. I had no more mustachioed cuckoos to try again and my PF and funds were limited after the wild animals breeding event.

I know many players like having skips but some players may, at times, only want the next breeding level and it would be great if this was possible and guaranteed, thanks.

I agree we should have a on/off switch on the tree for that. Maybe they can do it and add us one.. Maybe it will cost stars also... I seen some players say they have extra stars.. Not sure if they opened all they could or just what they wanted... But till I do get what I really want opened and depends on the stars to make that switch I may too use it when I breed a certain animal..

It would help alot of players when they are like low on animals or/and power feed. It happened to me too as well wanting a certain one but got a skip... even though i wasnt expecting that skip i am always greatful for it... but really wished it dont happen when ya dont want it to and when your out of PF...lol But normally when you are low on PF you always want that skip....lol

I too liked/love that ideal and I do hope that we will someday very soon get that... I bet you be surprised as to how many people will really use it... Not every one comes to the forums... so you know you will have some of them people use it too...

I'm confused... because as far as I know, there aren't any runes that affect skips.

I think you might be referring to the Baby Boom rune which has the following description:

    More bundles of joy
Once breeding is completed, you have a 20% chance to receive four standard animals or one randomly selected breeding animal.

But all it does is give you a 20% chance of receiving extra animals. In other words, you get the animal you were supposed to get plus a 20% chance of receiving four basic animals or a random breeding animal.

Even if you didn't have that rune unlocked (or somehow managed to disable it), it would still have been possible for your 4 Mustachioed Cuckoos to produce a Bee Cuckoo. That's just the way breeding works - you normally get a breeding animal from the next level but there's always a chance you'll get a skip to a higher level.

Ok well the events messed my head up....lol I thought so too but i fell I did get the different animal.... Maybe lack of sleep didnt help ethier...lol
Yes that part of it is the skip.. The bee skipped the Punko (as how skips work) But I am not totally sure on this as i do feel it happened to me... the OP wanted the Punko NOT the Bee Cuckoo, and with that said I assumed the same thing happened to me... or least I thought it did....lol I think doing to much at one time affect our brains....lol :)

I don't really understand for an untimed event (requiring a specific cuckoo) why you can't just sell the upgraded cuckoo, and buy the one you want. You would make money on the skip if you did this.
