Wish you the best drop result ever One Two!

My drop results seem very random, 8 bio glue factories yielded 6 baskets yesterday but only 2 today. I wish BP introduced some kind of time based guaranteed drop, e.g. 16 hrs base time = 1 drop. Oh well.. keep dreaming .. for now I adore every basket that pops up

 

Just a quick note to self - if we have the similar event next year: I spent 30 baskets to get those 2500 candy points

Update on me... Left and right side is done... working on middle now, with 4 steps to go. will have to make 17 more Mache's when I get them 100 paper strips... I used all the buffs i got left again so hopefully tommrow I can start catching...Still need the crops for the float and to make the Mache's

 

Only need 133 drops now so will be with the queen tomorrow sometime, im getting jealous of reading how everyone is doing. Just got field of pens out ready may do all 3 main fields of pens for baskets

 

Good move PB12, the more baskets you're able to get before entering the parade the better the pay offs for your efforts feel.
With 133 drops to go you'll make it. WTG!

 

Finally done with the float! Good luck to everyone still working their way through the slog of getting paper strips!

Only chased after the MQ with 3 baskets so far as that no-show of a cursor is rage inducing when I need the basket to move - MOVE I said! - and it just sits there snickering at me. Did alright I guess, though I didn't keep track of exactly what I got - the 9 farm coins stands out! Will try again later tonight when the other half is sleeping and not hogging the bandwidth.

 

Monkey queening away here; baby farm has ripped everything up and is growing carnations and coffee on 1x1 in the hope of getting those paper strips - hopefully it'll get to the float for those much needed GB or TEP.

With the extension of 32 hours it will be doable!! Fingers and toes crossed for ou and all the others still working on the paper strips...

Thanks Habalala, what a difference a few days make after my initial rant im in a much happier place with this event and Ive even opened up 2nd part of field in other event

 

Once we have "completed" the mini-game with 2500 points is there any reason to continue to catch the candy? Meaning, wouldn't it be better to concentrate on the GB, PF, SG, SSG etc or do we still get something for catching the candy after the game is won?

You do get a little EP and CC - it tells you how much. I've got around 50,000 EP and 35,000 CC for 200 baskets worth of candy. It's so much not worth it compared to literally millions of EP and CC caught in that time - I think about 5.5 million EP caught and I've not tracked CCs (buying too much feed) but definitely more than a million.

 

My advise is not to go after any candy once you gained access to the mini game. Everyone with over 25 baskets at the start will gain the 2,500 candy points needed for the extra prizes by just playing the game. Candies will fall in your basket, no matter how hard you try to avoid them! My advise: go for the goodies thrown at you from second 1.

Something which has helped me with the mini game: Listing all the prizes in the order I want them. Knowing which is more valuable of 2 prizes which will land at the same time helps to avoid hesitation when playing, and after a few games I don't even have to think about playing any more. My hand works automatically catching the most valuable prizes while I can think of something else (very useful when you've got hundreds of baskets)
I agree you don't need to try to catch the candy, or distinguish between the values of the candy unless you have under 25 baskets.

 

What I do, to make up for the invisible cursor, is I have a practice before clicking on the basket. Move your cursor up to the base of the float and move along the Baharama banners.... then I do it with my eyes closed. It is just getting your mouse hand to go up a wee bit and then just left and right. (watch the float react). And when you click on the basket, there is a pause just before the float starts to move... I wait so the invisible cursor doesn't get out of line........

 

Well, after coming in day by day and reading other Farmers posts about catching goodies tossed by the Monkey Queen. Plus Watching my son as well as my wife happily gathering said goodies, I have finally finished those stinkin floats! HUZZAH!


I've been collecting Baskets all along so I began collecting with 235 in the Barn. Finished collecting the 2500 candies with 208 baskets left. I read a post request for what other Farmers have collected in the 25K quest so here's my results:

Thank for the tip Davidb, I'll definitely try that next time I hit up the MQ. I realized I keep thinking of the candy basket as my cursor and it takes a second or two to realize that DUH! it's not and what the problem is. I'll figure it out eventually. Probably.

Hey 12ss12 You have been coping my Trail Strategy using PF as i am using PF on some Workshops, Neon and Pink Pens....I did a Trail yesterday not every pen gives an Candy Basket but most of them do it still bit random.

But the Candy Basket does give an Average of 2 PF per Basket. The Best i got was 8 PF, Sometimes 6 PF or 4 PF, Most often 2 PF but sometime not PF... But overall getting very good average so no harm to splurge some PF. The Benefit of this you Reap more Candy Baskets while this Event ends on Monday. Otherwise without using PF bit of a wait to get Candy Baskets

My Tip is swing your Candy Basket from right to left then half way, go back the other way, then back to the end left. (Avoid Collecting any Candy Sweets Try get everything else)

I Tried a Field of Yellow Cat Pens and Yellow Peacocks. The better chances of getting Candy Basket is placing anything taking 17 Hours or More. I got some decent drops from Bears/Skunks/Eagles and Foxes...

As i agree with Habalada avoid collecting any candy once 2500 Points have been reached

This Event has made us all now MQOCD... who can complaint with all the lovely prizes we are getting
