Strategy: Cat & Dog Days

I donated 350,000 to dogs and got 73,346. It was much lower than I expected, so I paid careful attention to my ep in my level status bar and then donated 350,000 to cats (equal love for both). I got the same amount, 73,346. It isn't 1667 x my level. It's more like my level x 726. I just thought I must have misunderstood the intermittent rewards.

 

At lvl 98 the reward is 0.204 EP per 1 EV donated .. the Intermitted Global Chart steps make no difference or sense at all!

 

Any farmers who can figure it out - or do we have to ask the Mods...

 

The german forum says : "One gets then for the deposit experience points:

Per equivalent of 480 MP: 1 EP x level" - anyone makes any sense of that, it's googled translated. (saved me from embarrassing myself more)

 

What's the German wording... I'm not an expert in German, but being Danish the language is somewhat close...

 

That makes more sense to what I saw....

500,000/480 *98 = 102,083

Hmmmmm.... now I wonder if I transposed my numbers (I reported 108,032)

I got it. It's the ev amount donated, divided by 480 x your farm level. My level is 101 and I just got 2104 for a 10,000 ev donation.
So, what's the point of the chart then?

My numbers are off a bit, too. I should have gotten 73,645 instead of 73,346. But I got that amount twice, so I'm sure it's what I received. Either way, it's much less than the chart seems to indicate it should be.

 

It's not a case of people misunderstanding the Global Intermittent Rewards chart. There are inconsistencies between the different language FAQs.

Some have the exact same chart as the EN FAQ, but others are saying that you get 1 EP x Farm Level for every 480 EV delivered. For example, when you deliver 4800 EV of cats/dogs and drops, you will earn 10 EP multiplied by your level.

Edit: I've edited the original post and removed the chart to avoid further confusion.

 

I suspected as much, german faq didn't have the table. Looks like BP yet again changed their mind and forgot to update all mods

 

You clever cookies! Great! At least we know now that it does not depend on when you donate. The chart, however, is still very hard to understand. Oh well... at least we can now figure out what amount of EP we'll get

What a terrible reward! After making it to over 350,000 EV to each I'm done with Global donations.

 

I put 1 cat and it gave me 92 EPs. Then I put in another & another & another. It is nothing but 92 EP. I am at level 98. I am puzzled. I cannot figure out the logic behind the awarding of EP.

I delivered 2 cats which is 450 x2 = 900 EVs and I got 92 x 2 = 184 EPs.
I delivered 11 cats = 11 x 450 = 4950 EV & got 1011 EPs, that is divided by 11 gives 91.909. Does that mean my level is calculated at 92 ???


Not strong at maths. No never was...so I will leave it to the mathematical wizards & Farmerama.

 

450 / 480 = 0.9375 * 98 = 91.875 EP = 92 EP (rounded up to the nearest integer)
900 / 480 = 1.875 * 98 = 183.75 EP = 184 EP (rounded up to the nearest integer)
4950 / 480 = 10.3125 * 98 = 1010.625 EP = 1011 EP (rounded up to the nearest integer)

 

Yes, But what is 480 ? Because exchange value for cat is 450.

480 is as far as I've gathered just a number BP came up with. I'm struggling with the dogs. Can't get enough dogs! But I'm almost done, 2 more breeding donations.

 

For every 480 EV you donate towards the global portion, you get 1 EP x Farm Level.

Since your farm is level 98, that means you get 98 EP for every 480 EV you donate.

So if you deliver 11 cats, that's 11 cats * 450 EV per cat = 4950 EV. Then divide 4950 by 480 to figure out how many multiples of 480 there are in 4950 and you will get 10.3125. Since you get 98 EP for every multiple of 480 EV, you get 10.3125 * 98 = 1011 EP.

 

10 more regular cats and 45 regular dogs before the event is done. Can't wait! The animations are too cute!
