Combo Event..There and Back Again/Icing on The Cake

Phoenixboy: Just wait till the event starts or better still do it when you have finished for the day. If they announce a short BB, you will have to wait or go back and add in Pheromones (though if you have the harvester, this is not a problem ... I don't think, not sure if you can add it to all your breedings after they are set up ).

Me too, love cake, but I have already harvested today so I may be a little slow in collecting all those points but hey, I am a patient girl, I shall just make my cakes a little slower ...

I am on gmt time so 5pm tomorrow it starts so I have set an alarm to go off at 4.55pm to remind me. I bought pink jelly thinking I was buying singles and was buying 5's a while back so I have over 50 so I am wondering if you might send a gift to a newer newbie who may not have the funds to buy a few for the event. I just couldn't help myself, had stuffed the motel last night in the hope of a surprise baby boom, but as none has been announced yet... I just had to sneak peek on how the vouchers was doing. Did 5 breedings, 2 vouchers. Now I'm trying to sit on my fingers and wait until the announced BBD on FRIDAY. My fingers will go num and be flat before then, I wonder if they will be able to click at all. Arghhhh BP, why do you force me to wait, you know I lose any waiting competition. Have met more patienced 3 year olds

 

Smallvillefarm: You have not offended me at all! I like those type of mistakes - they seem terrible at the time but at some time later, you are glad of them!

I didn't have much to harvest but managed to get another two vouchers and have made five perfect cakes. The customers were so pleased - I managed to hide the holes my fingers made - I just had to try the icing!

Now, I am going to wander over and donate a few bears, hang on a little longer before filling up the motel ... then fill the hotel to brimming with bears. Sounds like strategy!

I don't know about you guys but my drop ratio was appalling...I got only 3 Cake vouchers from all 3 fields. Main field has 7 Stables plus 1 x Menagerie II and 1 x Manufactory I, 43 XXL Trees and 1 x Arboretum. Green Meadow had 33 Trees and 42 Stables mainly upgrades III and IV or rare stables and Magical Glade 8 Stables upgrades II and IV and 33 Trees XXL. With this kind of drop rate we need weeks to finish this event and not hours.
I would really like to know about your drop rate!

I wrote down the first two, then used my noggin and remembered the rest. Think will definitely write down when I come to two Cakes!

 

I thought the vouchers only came from breeding ? Have this been changed or was this always the case, remembered someone asked about it in general. Or did I just dream this ? Must have been a nightmare

 

Moraine - FAQ was changed and here is the announcement
Drops now come from trees, stables and workshops too

3 fields full of stables, menagerie, manufactory, arboretum and trees on edges.....8 drops

2nd farm: Trees, Bears, Orange/Red Donkeys, Fish and Ostrich....1 drop (Level 99, LL rune 29% and Howie)

Will just have a small slice of cake instead of the whole thing

Is it just me going blind or did BP forget to add the coloured bears to the breeding market?

Nothing harvested, yet no drops

Yeah, just you Habalala! Loads of cheap coloured Bears in all my markets. Sorry, just joking! No coloured Bears appearing for duty here.

I saw some fleeing in the direction of serenity and non-event land a few hours ago Habalala. Might have been yours. I didn't stop to check as I was for sure going in the other direction

 

3 cake vouchers from 3 full fields of pens, workshops and trees???!!!!!!. At least got perfect cakes for 1st lot of baking.
Hopefully drops from breeding will be much better.
