I'm loving this event combo!!!! :inlove: I can make cakes while waiting for my breeding animals. And....I get cake vouchers for breeding animals!!! Brilliant! :D
    Plus I can re-stock crops!!
Baby Boom Day is my absolute favorite mini event!!!!:music:

All 3 of my farms have completed this event. Working on the extras now.

Somehow I got one that had Orange Cake, Orange Icing and should have been Pink Topping but it ended up being Orange Cake, Orange Icing and no topping? I don't know how that happened.

For those who are not breeding animals hang in there you still have 82+ hours left to get there.

They don't listen. We've been saying to slow down on events for years it seems. They did the exact opposite and are now running multiple events at once. What a slap in the face to customers.

There are times when it is just too much to cope with because it is hard to keep track of the requirements for each event but other times it is nice to use your PF for 2 events at the same time. If you have a MM event and a regular crop growing event the PF works on both events (Tropical, Mainland and Moonlight fields). The cost of it in the Markets is always around 100,000+ and sometimes it is close to 200,000. When you need it to finish an event it is nice to have it serve a dual purpose.

BP doesn't always implement everything but I do think they listen to what players have to say.

TOOOO much for 2 little reward....would have been great as 2 separate events
Drops pitiful for the time people spend on this game
I would soon not play events then buy PF etc to reach the end of events...it's advertised as free game and thats how I play it

If you really want to know why they don't listen, read post #11 on the previous page.

I finished both events and they seemed to go well. Clearly they supplement each other, which I think is OK. I was able to use the badges from the cake event to finish the final step of the bear event, so those did not go to waste.

I like the cake game and was glad to see it back.

I only got one drop from Main, meadow and glade on the first day. This was a farm with upgraded animals and neon animals. I think you should try to make a minimum number of drops rather than completely random. I would have thought you forgot to turn the drops on, except for that one drop at the start of the event. It would have been better to let us know what to expect.

The bear postcards touring the places of the farm were cute.

Wow, drops were drastically reduced from the last time we had this event but I understand why after reading back through the strategy thread from last time. Many of us had finished in no time at all. I think BP just wanted to stretch it out a little longer but only getting 1 or 2 drops from 3 fields full of pens and trees is ridiculous:eek:-.-:( Maybe up the voucher drops and cut the event back to 3 days??

Finished There and Back ... wasn't going to do this event ...I did it mainly to get the bakery tickets
But quite enjoyed doing it ;).... now have 34 tickets ...so hopefully this should be enough to finish the bakery

Seriously ticked off. ZERO drops so far and I've been playing for the last 3 days. Only Cake tickets I have gotten are from the giver item. Not even a third of the way through the game and it's going to end soon. If Big Point carry on like this in the next games I'll be signing out, permanently.

dizzy - Did you do any breeding of your farm animals over the weekend? That's how I received 100's of cake vouchers from breeding my animals. That's why this is considered a "combo" event. You need to breed to get the most cake vouchers as possible.

I love this event. The low, low drops were disconcerting at first but it soon became apparent that they'd still be plenty high enough, as long as you'd put pens out of course.

You have to put certain things on your fields...but you get to keep all the animals you made, and only donate tickets which drop for free from things which are useful to do anyway. What's not to like? I got enough tickets to finish from my field, plus an awful lot of bonus tickets from breeding I'd been meaning to do anyhow. The prizes are great (LOADS of bears and breeding bears!) and the drop rate is about right for me. Last time there were too many drops and the mini game got to be a drag. This time is much better.

Dizzy, drops are only from animal pens, workshops and trees. Not crops. If you have pens etc out I would consider contacting support as you shouldn't have no drops at all. I've easily had enough drops to finish without breeding.

I finished this event days ago, which is a rarity for me. My fields were 100% trees and stables/workshops and was getting super low drops. I decided to concentrate on a breeding quest and that's the only reason I finished the event so quickly. If you were breeding, a successful event. If not, as usual, an abysmal amount of drops. Because I was doing so much breeding, I had so many vouchers it became boring to redeem them. Only plus is I garnered a significant amount of bears to bank and leveled up 2x on Baja.

A lot of events in a row... it is hard to keep up
And this event needed a lot of PF but the rewards weren't so good.

I love this event. Only suggestion is to have a better balance of wonderful vs ok prizes. Maybe BP is recovering from the massive numbers of great prizes from the Carnival Queen, but the pendulum has swung too far to the so-so side!
