I didn't finish the event I didn't get the 300 drops needed:sleepy: But I wouldn't have reached so far without your help, thank you:)
I usually say what FarmerMolly said when I fail something but I really tried for it. Did you find it weird? Is it the first time you hear it?

    DBAYES did you finish?

Congratulations to everyone finished! This was a difficult event!

Nah, it's not the first time Ariehl. But this was such a crappy event, that it kinda hit home somehow. Really all one can do is pick oneself up again and try again. Then I remembered one "definition" of insanity: To repeat the same action over and over again and expect a different outcome. Yet that is what we all do when it comes to the events xD

Well sewinglady's farm finished before I went off to bed last night. It was ugly, but I made it through x2. One thing to note for future reference (i.e. repeat or similar events) - using 4 or 5 of the flyers and harvesting every hour or two hours uses fewer flyers and still gets you to the finish line. That's why I installed the alarm clock - seriously. It went off, I came upstairs (from the sewing room) and harvested the review and then used another 4 (2 hours left) or 5 (1 hour left) flyers and went back down to sew. I managed to get through the events and got 3 dresses and an apron done plus two more aprons over half way to done.

I did not finished the event was still short of 4 reviews. I thought about buy some shell but still did have enough BB to finish. Feel asleep and woke up with 2hr on the clock. That was my sign to throw in the towel and go back to sleep.

I ended up finishing about 10 minutes before it ended. I had 699 garlands left over, they started dropping like crazy once I finished the building. I started the last step with just about 34 hours left in the event. I had 2500 left over big bamboo and I managed to mill 59 flyers from the last harvest that were left over once I used what I needed to finish.

Cambridge Dictionary of American Idioms explains/ define it as :
"hit home - to be understood completely and have a strong effect strike home"

Somewhat similar from McGraw-Hill Dictionary of American Idioms and Phrasal Verbs:
"hit home and strike home - Fig. to really make sense; [for a comment] to make a very good point."

I used it more as it really made sense then and there as I felt it more clearly/ made a bigger impact than normal. English isn't my first language either :)
