Allow us to send PowerFeed as daily free gift during Breeding Events and Baby Boom Day

I think it's fair that we can help our neighbors out during these breeding events similar to how we can gift drops for other events. Considering PowerFeed can be milled and cost 1BB each, it really isn't too much to ask for this change to be implemented.

I like this idea! But I see why they would never implement it. When players buy the big packages automatically they sent to their neighbours 2 PF or sometimes 10! So Bigpoint wouldn't like if neighbours could sent to each other more PF during breeding events.

 

Yes from me too... I dont see why they wont..... if you think about it.... if a player can buy for other players and send it... i feel one we have some great farmers here who is willing to get pf for others... and 2 that should also increase BP sales... So really i see no down side to this idea... In fact I feel it will help the farmers who gets said PF and BP a extra sale cause we have a lovely farmer who has the means to help a fellow farmer out..just my 2 cents worth of PF.....lol

 

I've said it before and I'll say it again That Is A Wonderful idea to dream of and I also don't see why we can not send at least 1 (one) per day during the Breeding Events. just like we do any other event -drop- however; I do understand that PF is not a drop, would that be AWESOME one can dream!!
@Arielh it would not hurt BP's PF sales in the least bit. One reason is we are only allowed to receive 20 gifts per day that amounts to only 5 (five) breedings. To the people that buy Power Feed that is nothing so they will still be buying and those who don't won't. Like Jazac said it would most likely add to sales.
If we sometimes pay to send our neighbors and friends drops for the events, why would we not pay to send them a PF to help out with the Breeding Events?

I am sure many farmers send their friends a few extra to make their goal, or make new friends on the SOS thread.

 

Actually I disagree. I normally buy a pack of PF, and if I could gift my neighbours I might go for a smaller package which cost less, and thus gives BP less revenue. My main reason for buying the biggest pack is for my dear neighbours to get those 10 PF. Those 10 Pf does not count as 10 item on the daily gifts either.

As for the gifting idea.... Not a fan, but not directly against it either.

 

I think some people will create fake accounts to send power feed to their own accounts so this won't be good for BP sales.

As for fake accounts maybe they could hook the system up so that if a farm is not being worked then the gift giving feature would not work. I don't just mean gifts of PF I am talking about any and all gifts and drops. I like many here have more than one account and I work each and every one of them. Most have the monthly harvester and the other work on the sales of 7BB's each part. But I'm sure there are already now, many with accounts just for what you are talking about Arielh.

Well yes and no.... this is a idea that might really need some thought as to hurting BP sales... you buy a big pack to send 10 PF to all neighbors yes... but to help a certain person you still need to buy a pack of feed to do that...

while this can be true... i cant deny this at all with fake accounts.... but at same time even if people did do this... its the same as helping others... more sells for BP... now while it may also drop the number of good farmers helping others as they will be helping themself... but at same time we will still have great farmers who is in good shape to help others.... So if you can explain to me how it can hurt then I will not like this ideal..

 

Oh I thought the Pf was to be sent like the other gifts, meaning that I don't have to have it myself. But this would work like the artisan products. I'm pretty sure there would be milling (mining) accounts yes. I think this would be a very big incentive for those. 20 accounts to support one. And that will most certainly hurt the sale. "Fake" accounts are permitted in this game, and they are also permitted to gift each other. There are some restriction, but I think those were botting accounts only. This really does open up a can of worms. I understand we all want more PF, but I think this would alter the dynamics of the game too much.

I would love to be able to send PF as neighbor gifts during breeding events as I think our daily limit of 20 will prevent a large advantage to the breeding requirements. I also believe that if PF were permitted to be exchanged as gifts between farmers, we would see increased breeding requirements in events.

 

No maybe I misread and strayed off topic.. I though it was to buy too... But hey you did point out a better way of misuse. So milling wouldn't be a option if BP did it maybe these 2 ways.. Have it in gifts section as you say to send to other players... BUT we would more likely get 1 item and since gifts is one a day that will be 1 gift times 1 PF PER neighbor. But as you said more accounts will be made.. So that leaves the last idea.

Make it a buy item to gift... If BP changed their ways a tad... they would get more sell... other games I played i was able to buy things for other players....I really wasn't talking about gifting from gifts.. i was talking about buying packs for other players.. But maybe also they need to give us a money balance on our game where bb's coins, stars, and our level is at... maybe someone can credit our accounts to buy like recipes and that.or least let them be buyable to send to other farmers... which to me that cant be abused... its a one time buy.... but its a one extra sell to BP..

well this topic was about sending PF. Now I may have went in another direction with it... but in hopes something works out for BP for them to be able to LET US SEND PF TO OTHERS. So forgive me if I am wrong, i am very sorry..

Okay first we need to clarify how players will buy and send PF as gifts to other players, with real money or with BBs?
What I said about fake accounts it would be true if we can send PF with BBs. Let me explain. When someone starts a farm he gets for free an amount of BBs so he will spend it on sending PF to other farms. Bigpoint doesn't earn anything this way.

No I wouldn't like farms that are not used not to be able to send gifts. Why I say that is because some farms reached a high level(for example 60 or 70) and then maybe the players decided to that they can't play anymore but they only log in to help other players.
So I think they should allow every player to send gifts no matter their level or time of playing.
