Crystal Falls 2, timed Quest.

How to achieve 160 Lychees in 24 hours.
It can be done with nine x twenty hour trees with two Vials of Growth and 27 Suzy's supergrow and 18 turbo Mulch, but it takes accurate timing at approximately three twelve hour intervals.
1.Plant nine lychee trees with super grow. (54 fruits).
2. Wait to harvest (e.g. 9pm - sets you up for a 9am re-do followed by a 9pm finish.)(Turn off auto harvest if you have it)
3.Crucial to get this order correct.
Use a vial of growth. Start Quest timer. Harvest first 54 fruit.
Use nine turbo mulch and nine Suzy's supergrow. Growing time =11hours 42 minutes
4.2nd Harvest.
Use 2nd vial of growth. Harvest 2nd 54 fruit.
Use nine turbo mulch and nine Suzy's supergrow. come back in 11hours and 42 minutes
5. 3rd harvest of 54 fruit. and about 30 mins to spare!!

6. Don't forget the parrots!!
Newbies, do the Restaurant Quest for a practice with timed quests. There are some stables as rewards.
If you have xl or xxl trees, then you do not have to be this close on times, I have calculated this for those who only have standard trees.

Simpler options are to do two harvests of 14 trees with Suzy's supergrow (twice) or
one harvest of 40 trees!

 

One harvest of 32 Trees with 1 Pineapple Cake also works.

I strongly recommend that players buy the trees over the expendable buffs.

No problem. I thought about how to get that quest done as fast as possible. Probably spent an hour working up different solutions.

 

It have never dawned on me that Pineapple cakes works on trees. I just do half of them, and put the timed quest on when I'm to harvest. Thanks Decree!

 

How can I achieve this with 2 harvests? I can use a pineapple cake.

And about the parrots, what is the least expensive way to get all of them in 24 hours? Are there any buffs to use for them?

 

I think for many of us it been a long while since we have done a Timed Quest. But for Many it is Newbie First Time.

Just Let you know have completed all 5 Levels of Crystal Falls 2 Quest. As i Enjoy it much more than doing Crystal Falls 1 Quest(Barn Draining Quest). Also used 80 Golden Bananas and 600 Farm Coins too.

As I use 80 Golden Bananas plus 600 Farm Coins First as the extra Field space helps you work on this Quest, with bit more Ease.

I always use Pineapple Cake every time i harvest my Fields of Tropical Trees as they give +1 Tropical Fruits. It is huge Help, Plus used Buffs for Stables and Bikini Workshops too.

Now a Full field of Crystal Falls, to place Extra TEP Trees, as it an added bonus to gain more TEP, Reaping Baha Crops or Stables. For it i stick to Trees or Crops

 

Yes indeed Mooboy it is a long time since we had timed quests. I think I am excited! I haven't started it yet I need to get ready first.

What kind of buffs were they?

 

david, you say to use super grow on trees?? I didn't know that would work Thought it was just mulch and SSG.

Stables Buffs: Valentine Pot 10%, Cheese Balls 5%
Workshop Buffs; Church Bouquet 10%, Guava Jam 5%

There are Cloud Rows that Helps too for Stables and Workshops, Alternatively using Yellow or Red Upgrades Helps too

Here is a simple fix for those of you who work, do not have buffs or want to use resources, and have (or can get) 20 regular trees:

(1). 13 hours before your alarm goes off to get up for work the next morning - plant 20 Regular Lychees and use Turbo Mulch only (reduces time to 13 hrs.). No SSG necessary. Place ALL your parrots before going to bed.

(2). When you do get up for work in the morning,
*Activate Quest*
before! harvesting (for you sleepy heads) entire Farm, (producing 80 lychees, and some parrots) and re-do Lychees using TM only.
(If you're running late, (auto)harvest or harvest Parrots and Lychees only and USE TM.

Go to work.

(3). 13 hours later (after work, a nice relaxing dinner, and lots of Parrot harvesting,) harvest trees again, for a total of 160 Lychees, (80 first harvest + 80 2nd harvest)
taking only 13 hours from start of Quest...and using nothing but TM.

(4). Meanwhile keep harvesting parrots. If you have Menageries, loading them with parrots will also help with the Quest, as they can be easily hand harvested, and they take less than 2 hours to mature.

Of course, this works for everyone, for all the trees, if you just want to save the CC cost of buffs and resources, as only TM is necessary.

You will need to figure the time for the animals/Bikini separately.

Think I will save up 80 bananas ...tizz easier that way to get area 2 for me ...only another 31 to get ...have waited this long for more land in bahamarama ..I can wait a little longer and will save me stress from being at my computer to harvest at a certain time and not using super grow etc etc ... easy problem solved simpler for me and thats what I like

 

I am getting ready to do the first task of the timed quest tomorrow. I will post my strategy, if it works
I just want to mention that you should check how many parrot feed you have before you start this quest!!

 

I did Lily's way on baby farm and big farm has 20 xxl lychee trees so just put those out to do 2 harvests. I put all my classic II parrots out and hey presto done in 2 harvests.

 

Arielh, I have over 1,000 parrot feed so I'm good to go!!

 

I have 5 areas opened, just the timed event to do. Have made a chart (I have 5 farms so need to keep track and will try and do them all at the same time) Also started list of what pens and trees I have in stock but as I have most trees out on Baha, will wait to count how many! Hope I have enough tools to increase my Bikini pens if not will not bother to even start any of the events.
I wonder who will be the first to complete and get all 6 sections opened!
Family coming this week so it will be September before I even think about getting started properly.
