Date Night

The FAQs are out for the Elephant Breeding Event and I'm liking the look of it. No medals required and, for those astute enough to have hoarded elephants for a while, no necessity to even breed - saving all that lovely PF!

I calculate that, if you wanted to finish the event with base Elephants, you would need:

104,800 X 15 steps = 1,572,000 Barn Value of Elephants (3,222 base Elephants)

I have only half that amount so will need to breed a little but that's okay, I love breeding events like this!

I'll leave all the clever calculations to those more capable than I!

I lack around 3000 Elephants to do without any breeding. I do not think I'll manage to raise such a large herd of elephants in time. Need to figure out the cheapest way to do it (or wait for someone else to do it *cough*Mooboy*cough*)

 

Thanks illy, for the calculation. I have the numbers & will finish with basic elephants & do some selling too. I am back early as I went to an out station court. Its just 3.45 pm here & I am back home !!!!! So happy. I can spend some time in marketing.

May be do some marketing - the broke way. Buy low & sell high & put some of it into the event. But you need to spend a lot of time on marketing.

or cover baha, rainforest & crystal falls with elephant pen & raise up your stock as much as possible & buy the remaining.

But let's see what all the other stalwarts say.

 

Gonna need to buy some GBs to be able to open the statue for elephant breeding though. Isn't it like 40 GBs?

Moraine, don't feel bad. I only have about 590 elephants, but don't have the GBs to open the breeding statue you KNOW BP is gonna require!

 

Argh! I forgot about needing to open the Elephant Breeding rune! Surely this won't be necessary for the event. Please say it isn't!

Oh well, I may have to just blitz the three islands with elephants - might get enough ... or maybe not!

 

Maybe I can go sell oranges on the corner for GBs??? Hmm?? Yes...yes? Maybe not. *pouts*

Maybe BP will have mercy on our souls. (but don't bet the farm on THAT one!)

Just checked the market. At 20,688 ea. Buying will not be an option. Guess I better git to growin some huh.

 

Holy cow, er, elephant! 20,000+ CCs? I have about 1700 on each of my farms. This farm lacks 3 GBs to unlock elephant breeding. Just THREE! No way I'm leveling up on Bahamarama in less than 24 hours, either as I just now leveled up and I'm at level 311...so takes a while. Heavy sigh. Guess I gotta buy GBs so I can breed...or just skip this event. But, I really really really want that red elephant stable.

 

If you have farm coins, there are GBs you can purchase from the farm coin shop. Or you can see if there are FSQs you can do to get the GBs.

 

You don't have to have it unlocked within 24 hours. We will most likely have a Baby boom this weekend so you still have a few days to gather GB. As Noelle has suggested, you might have some quests you can do that will earn GB. If you have any tropical products that give TEP(red punch, langos, mango orange smoothie), that will help speed things along a bit, as well as EP/TEP buffs when you harvest. Good luck!

Here is interest fact about elephants African Elephants are the biggest type of elephants, as you may know that indian elephants have smaller ears. I wish we had a breeding elephant called Dumbo

Facts

• Date Night is Breeding Event as we need to Breed Elephants
• We need 20 golden bananas to unlock elephant breeding
• Those who need 20 golden bananas, I advise to work on quests that earns golden bananas
• a) Level up Baha level gives 5 GB
• b) Shop O Rama for 120 Farm Coins gives 5 golden bananas
• c) Can Buy 20 golden bananas at Golden Banana Sale for 260 BB
• d) It would be cheaper to unlock Elephant Breeding Statue for 200 BB, so it good news for those who are willing to splurge 200 BB to unlock Elephant Breeding
• Can complete Date Night Event using only 3222 Elephants, there is no need to unlock elephant breeding to achieve this
• Date Night Quest rewards you with 4 golden bananas(Helps towards getting 20GB)
• Elephant Mill Feed takes 27 mins to Mill, we cannot Mill enough elephant to grow Elephants, therefore price of elephant feed will go sky high
• Now we have Crystal Falls Open, we can grow more Elephants but Elephants can be grown less than 6h 15min
• Elephant Habitat cost 4500 CC to buy from the store (it is the old elephant habitat)
• New Elephant Habitat will cost 9800 CC to buy
• Currently can buy Elephant Habitat Classic I for 45000 CC from the store (disconitued when elephant breeding starts !!
• It will be too costly or invaluable to donate 3222 Elephants for Date Night Event, so can do a mixture of some elephants and breeding elephants. Due to the fact Elephants and Elephant Feed has gone sky high in the markets
• Baby Boom will Start at the same time as Date Night but only for 6 Hours

Date Night Strategy

There are 15 steps of Equal Value of 104800 of elephants and breeding elephants. Therefore i suggest we will be needing 15 Jade elephants and 15 Mammoth elephants. Which has combined value of 107000 exchange value

Jade Elephant exchange value of 26000 cc, Mammoth elephant exchange value of 81000 cc

Noelle and PNP, THANK YOU for the reminders - and Mooboy! THANK YOU! - here I am thinking I need 40 GBs and I only need 20!?!?!?! I have 37...so I have plenty! Whew! I can save my farm coins for that section of Crystal Falls (almost there...almost...)

I'm putting out all my gold elephant pens and making more elephants. Might have to sell a few while they are sky high in the market.

Edited to add: Anyone else who is close, but shy - don't forget (like I did) that we get 5 GBs in two days from Fuzzles Prizes! I just refreshed the game page and fuzzles window came up - and there they are sitting there with the key on top...just waiting...

And PPS - I am loving Miss Elephant Fashionista getting ready for her date. Might be the best part of this event.

German forum just announced officially, that there will; be maintenance at 13:00 CEST for 15-60 minutes.

Only GOD knows, if the event starts in time and without problems!
And all this with a 6 hour baby boomer!
