Farm Shop Tycoon-strategy thread

What I found in this event is 1x1 plots of carnation gave good drops - about 100 & more drops a field. But 2x2 or comfort field of carnation gave you just 40 or so drops a field. So the best way is to use 1x1 for good drops & super grow - if you have the monkey queens's supergrow still intact or you can get them from FSQ's. I am almost finished with this event.

 

My harvest this morning did very well on drops but silly me found out the difference between 2000 and 2200 needed Now waiting for a final harvest to complete the task.

Just a reminder: it's the 1th of the month and the FC shop has been reset and thus in the limited tag, "cheap" PF and SG are ready to be bought up again. That is when you have enough FC to spare ofc.!

Got home from work early today but it didn't help because my internet was down this morning before I left and so I couldn't harvest this morning and only just now was able to harvest when my internet was fixed. Now I'm one full harvest behind which means I lost out on one full round of drops. Every single drop counts. I didn't notice any increased drop rate as some other farmers have mentioned, mine have been about the same the whole time, except red poppies got me a little more drops than roses. I only have 1,060 marble rocks so far and the event ends tomorrow. Oh well, I tried. I'll keep going as far as I can. I really really wanted that CR though! Almost have the right sidebar complete, just waiting on one more round of pineapples, then onto the main bar to see how far I can go.

 

I didn't notice one either.

Hmm @puppiesnponies I could have sworn this event was only 5 days?? Did it get extended? I'm so confused today!
Maybe I still have a chance!!

Somehow, knowing I'll only have 24 Stone Rose and 46 Marble Rock left after unloading gives great satisfaction.
Curious thou to find out how many more Marble Rocks will be added in the next 35 hours. Quite a few. LOL.

I'm still fighting. 750 more marble rocks to go. Everything else is done. Don't think I'll make it, but trying to get as far as I can. Limited supply of SG, so can't use that, and the manure is far too high in price for my bank account - just crops and water (with CAC). But I'll keep on keepin' on...

 

at this very moment i am needing 1102 marbles..... NOT looking good for me.... just got little over 100 useing buffs and roses... that got me where i am... 1 small field of roses left... i planted 1 field of event crops as still needing but wont be issue.... and one of orchids...i am gonna try to fight this drop issue... im close but yet so far away.....lol

 

Refined carnations give excellent drops - I only need 84 more I have planted time reduced (Early-Bloomer) hazelnuts for the night as I need them to make ZAC.

Nellie you've most likely found out by now, but the Exotic feed is simply Baha feed for Baha animals.

Congrats to everyone finished! There is still 26 hours remaining so time to keep going!

Pnp- all drops collected but need partial harvest of crops to finish (Level 133). The only reason this farm is still working crops is because I didn't rip out as much farmland as I did on 2nd and 3rd farms but it has the most drops. It's all about balance.....

BW - finished with this morning's harvest (Level 100)

3rd farm - crops done and just need 241 drops which I'm hopeful will happen today but if not, they will with tomorrow morning's harvest. (Level 95)

Need over 600 drops and some roses to finish my four farms.... This is getting crazy. Seems you can't even come close to finishing an event unless you do 1 x 1 drops and super grow everything. What happened to the events that you just have to put a little time in on and finish?

 

Sounds more like the quests. I played when farmerma was pretty new for two years, and been playing now for a year. The events seem pretty much similar in challenging. More fields => higher crop and drop demands. Buffs that provide harvest bonuses => higher crop demands. The only times it's been easier is when the majority of players don't have access to extra land/best buff(remember the introduction of cac)
The complains back them are similar to those back then as well Too many events, too much asked for , not enough drops.

But having said that, Cac was imo the biggest game changer of all. That I think made events harder for everybody to complete. Without cac and 1x1 plots I think it will be very hard to finish an event. It should be doable if farming can be fitted around RL, but I think it will be a tough ask.
