I agree - If you see my post, just a couple up from yours. Clearly they DOOOOO read through them, because an "inappropriate" word was edited. They just couldn't be bothered to do anything about it. I am a premium player so I am DEF spending money now. Clearly STILL not good enough. Time to take up reading for a hobby. Games should be fun, and add value to life. Not frustration!!!!

 

I agree with previous posts. This is definitely not a 'medium' difficulty event. I have worked really hard, put all my neon and pink stables out with high EP workshops, used loads of CAC and Supergrow with high EP crops overnight togehter with hurrying up the harvesting of my highest EP trees and I am still not going to finish as I am short of drops and its such a huge disappointment. I am sure I have played this event the best way I could have done for maximum drops but am stuck at the penultimate stage with no hope of the golden bananas or cloud row. I honestly think its a mistake of the planners to think we could obtain sufficient drops over six days and that this is a seven day event as an extra day would allow me to finish. A previous player mentioned this and they are right I am sure.. The actual event is fun and I dont mind donating all the Bahamarama crops to get better rewards, its gives the event two sides to concentrate on, more interest and utilises the whole farm, it would just be nice to finish in exchange for hard work!

 

I agree lizzy it wasn't fun it was a slog ... In all the time I have played this game ...we have never ever had an event as bad as this one has been and the prizes aren't that brilliant ....any more like this and I am out the door...I don't want to sit on a computer all day ...and thats what its been to try to complete this event and that wont be until in the morning ... hopefully will get the last 38 drops that i need to finish

Only good thing about this event were the graphics
I think it was done for us to spend money buying baskets super grow etc
All i bought was water and manure in the market didn't waste my super grow etc on it
Have better things to spend my money on

 

This event was actually only 5 days. Even worse.

 

Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday = six days not five.

You can't count Tuesday -- it ends Tuesday morning. Started Thursday at 8am my time -- ends Tuesday 8am my time. 120 hours is 5 x 24 hours -- or 5 full days.

I want to agree with my cohorts...I am a long time skilled player...tried multiple ways to succeed...but I think this will be the 3rd event in a row that I didnt finish...I love my cloud rows and love the box o treats...but I am not paying money to finish this event when the next event, like the 3 before, have been unattainable...and yes I have OCD...I have gotten up in the middle of the night to clear my land....YEAH gotta say I think BP will be seeing a lot less of that...Sayonara when I find a new game that peaks my interest more than this cold shoulder.

 

I compared this to the previous event because they had similar requirements. This one was 11,900 6 hr event crops and the last was 11,550 7 hr event crops. I think I should have been able to finish this one without nuking 1x1s and I still might not have enough drops. 15 hours left and I still need around 400.

Even if it gets extended I will not be happy with this event because I would have used a lot of SG to do it.

 

I wasn't trying to be rude, and my apologies if you took it that way. I was saying it was even worse trying to complete the event because it was actually 5 days. I'm confused why you think I was being rude with my reply????

 

you weren't being rude jazzy he must just be upset with this event so he is taking his aggravation out on others just ignore it and this event wasn't to bad I didn't have to use very much SG and I did finish it but it would be nice if the grow and throw events could be a little less stressful for everyone

 

Unfortunately wont finish this event and it was very difficult. I am stuck with only 60 rocks in hand on the penultimate step. I filled both sides first so got lots of EP and cc and then have grown all the roses I need, wish I hadnt started it to be honest. Have planted foxtail millet in all three fields with supergrow overnight to give it my best shot. I am pleased with the prizes gained so far and it is annoying and aggravating to work hard and be so short of drops......

UPDATE: As predicted I am still stuck on the penultimate step with only 223 of the 600 rocks needed despite my high EP fertilised tress, neon and pink pens and foxtail millet supergrowed overnight and this morning. There is NO WAY this is a medium difficulty event and I do wish I hadnt attempted it. I have analysed the way I have played and cant think of anything I could have done differently to finish, Bigpoint needs to listen carefully to the comments in this thread and how disgruntled their players are and stop giving us events, which I believe have too lower drops to ever finish, otherwise players will leave the game and it seems to be happening very regularly! I dont want an easy event, there's no point, but I would like an achieveable and correctly graded one which has been properly programmed to match the grading, e,g. medium, and that is possible to be finished within the event timescales. most of us have hacked up our farms and used lots of valuable resources and remain disappointed.

 

Those that were able to finish already (I'm impressed!!), would you be willing to share some of what worked for you? I'm still boggled that 3 entire fields of 1x1 event crops followed by several sets of insta-finish comfort field iris and roses hasn't even netted me my 525 drop level. Other than playing at work and overnight, I don't see what I could have done any better.

UPDATE: Got the 525, but I'm going to be 3-400 short for the 600.

 

I too am a day short of finishing this event, lacking the drops.....I agree no way this is medium event...the drops for this event... is not where they should have been at.... very sad event... I worked hard at it and still lost....guess you cant win them all huh...


EDIT: Minus the drop issue, everything else was great!!!

 

I think farmerama needs to pull it's socks up ... before people start leaving this game ...because thats what i reckon will happen If we get more events like this
I am looking around to see what other games are around... Am sick of back to back events...
What is the point of having all these stables ...when they are never put out on the fields ?????

Have just put in the stables and trees ...am not building my hopes up for something new from them

Let me know what you find...I know there is a game where you build a whole town and then you can actually have your icon interact with other peoples icons===when u need help or to sell something...I am blanking on the name.

I am at the last 2 requirements for this event...2 hours until its done (the event)...so another one I wasted SG and time and couldnt complete

 

I have just finish the event. I plant roses, they giv lots of drops

 

That drop rate was disappointing again. finished up 40 drops short of completion and still one more round of planting the event crops to get the bonus stalk. It seems unless you are willing to pay for baskets or are constantly able to monitor your farm, the chance of completion of this "medium" event was quite "difficult"

 

I had a thought on why my drops weren't so great, and maybe it's what hurt some other farmers as well. Does anyone know if you have a tool refinement set up on a crop if it doesn't give as many other drops? I wonder if that's why my iris harvests weren't doing the job. It did seem my roses did better, though they are a much shorter crop. :/

 

Events are becoming more and more disappointing. I have two farms and neither one finished because of drops. Sure I could have finished by spending more money on 1,000's of supergrow for instant refined carnations but why.............
