Viking Saga: Target Practic -- Strategy Thread

It's nice to see BP uses relatively new stables and workshops for an event. They have been releasing new items all the time and quite a few only had little use for the FSQ that came along with it. I mean, lately the Giraffe, 1 FSQ asks for 20 of those and that's about all what it's good for to have a pen. OK.. it has a decent EV too but I can't think of any more goodies.

Using the new items for events is a treat to those stubborn farmers who keep new items out on their fields after the FSQ is done. K-CChing!

i can understand that as where would the fun be? Well more less we don't need to know everything for every event... just my thing about this event is it asked for items which is rarely used.... nothing else... That is what got me... not the fact we needed different items in events... but 3 to 4 items most of which alot of people don't have... and the costs at the market is high..... not to mention sold out of things on some markets.... the butterfly i almost couldn't get ethier.... but managed to stalk market this morning when news came out and guess i was lucky some farmer sold more...

guess what i mean is like use butterflies and glowworms/or scented candles... but instead of useing the scented/ or glowworm ask . goats milk which a lot of people can get this...kinda even the playing field.. some...that's what i meant.... but yes cant win them all anyway right?...lol like jazzy said do farming or stocking up for another.. while it looks like i can do this event now... i may leave the breeding one alone.... haven't decided yet....but to those who sits this or even both out.... don't you stock up on a lot of things. just joking...lol

You can get ahead of me now and when i sit out i catch up This be my first firefly event... so i hope i can enjoy it... we shall see.

 

Oh, butterflies -- I missed the butterflies in the FAQ too. I don't have glow worms, dragon fruit, scented candles OR butterflies.

Definitely not my event.

Actually got 30 scented candles now by being persistent. Don't know if I will complete the event or not, but now at least I can choose

 

I too have now got 40 scented candles! Finally the people on my market put some there! I had been checking since the FAQ were posted so I am all in now as I do have everything else! I do like the Firefly event a lot! So off to get my overnight crops down so I can start with some good drops! Good Luck to all doing this fun event!

I will do the breeding event but not the firefly event going fishing so wont be here when event starts anyways wish me luck ( going Ocean fishing onshore )

 

Yes only need 30 BUT I started buying the singles of 1 as fast as I could get them
I had 13 then someone put 27 on and I snatched them up so now I have 40! lol

 

Oh well, I'm sure you can sell them and gain CCs

 

At this point it is not a problem I have them! I may keep the extra 10 as I did start with 0 or I may sell maybe 5 lol Decisions,decisions!

 

Can Buy butterfly houses in Farm Supplies for 50 BB's we don't make enough BBs in the movies to make 50BBs...We did years ago now we are lucky IF we get one daily
Have got One candle workshop that takes 22:58 to make ONE so in fact makes one a day

 

I will be doing both events, I already had 10 scented candles in barn. I brought the rest this morning and put my candle workshop out to make more. I have the rest of the items in my barn except the event crop of course.

Edit: Forgot to mention CR is up and running. Only 6 pots away from extra giver.

 

If anyone has extra gift slots sitting around, I could use a few more horns. Going for 1 more prize!

Lots of fun! Played 63 games and got 3105 coins (49 pr game) and got almost all the prizes I wanted from the shop

 

I was thrilled to make the cloud row with this event and didn't have to buy any baskets or horns to make it that far or SOS! Woo Hoo! Got Neon frogs to help with breeding event and the elusive newt stable.

 

I have to say this event grew on me... First 23 games and i wanted to throw in the towel....lol I have played i think it was 53 games.. while its not my favorate one... I wouldn't mind seeing this again... mainly for the chooseable items we get from it.. It had made me change my liking to it...

 

My Viking cloud row is not working. might want to check yours.. Happy farming
