Firefly Festival-Strategy Thread

Well I finished all the groups up to level 7 in the Wild about Animals. Only completed combo 4 in the fire fly event so far.

 

Still have 5 lanterns to lit. Finished only one combo. That which gives 5 amphibian badges.

Finished the breeding event. I now have 7 arthropod badges left. I didn't want to have any extra badges. But somehow got them.

 

One-Two: Don't know if you realised but we had the chance to get other category badges with each breeding.

I missed this point at first and put lots of breeding in the first category - I only have two badges left and it is in this first category so not too bad when I didn't read the FAQs!

Three lanterns to light, just under two harvests and about 90 drops required. Will finish tomorrow, I am sure.

 

Yes, I knew illy ! I expected to get one or two extra badges, not 7. But that happens.

 

i did all but the last stage on the breeding event as not enough badges and not sure if i should go on... I will get the 8th step on the frog as i have all but 4 to get and will get 5 on the firefly event.

donated all the extras... making the last 15 backpacks now... then its just drops and crops left of the firefly event.

I couldn't get into the forum yesterday either. Finished the Bees breeding portion yesterday after baby boom started. Working on badges for the rest. Firefly - Milling backpacks. Just need more of those event crops! I am short scented candles. Will see how it works out!

 

Happily done with both events! I was only going to do up to level 7 on the breeding event, but somehow got lucky in extra other category badges. Just had to do a small bit of extra breeding to finish level 8 in all three groups!

I got one more lantern to fill and will have both events completed.....I am wondering what to do with my coins from the fair... should i buy the crab which i don't think makes anything yet.. or another trade which i can wait on also...

I was brand new during the first fair so bought some items with my coins. But now that I'm further into the game and understand it a little better, I'm just saving mine for that 2nd artisan. I'm still on level 2 of my confectionery (close to level 3), but once I hit level 4, I'll want my second. Not very good at the fair games, but getting better. Ah, to think of all those wasted tickets on the learning curve. lol.

 

If you're not sure you might want to hold on to your items until you decide for sure. Some are hard to come by.
One day I might get a RL and follow suit.

Couldn't log into baby farm or forum all day yesterday, thru Bigpoint . I could log in to other 2 farms thru farmerama.co.uk, but not the forum. BP evidently knows about it, because I saw a post by nellie that the mod mentions it, so the question is, will we be compensated again? Thankfully I wasn't doing the event on mini me, but I had CAC going to grow crops, so I lost out, plus I was growing event crops on Baha to get EP, and of course lost harvester time.

Finished both events on spots and bear, gearing up for MM event, can't wait! REALLY hope they are able to get the log in/hacker issues taken care of before then, as will be very to miss out on MM time. I think farmers might actually revolt over that .

 

Finished both events! Yeah! I love breeding events! I couldn't log into the forums either yesterday. At least they were up today! Good thing I was still building up resources to finish the events. Will be mostly puffin constrained next week. Neighbors - sorry if my gifting is spotty.

 

First it was hard getting into the game, then the forum.... oh well. I managed to finish this event tonight and I'm delighted.

 

I have given away my neons, pinks, rare stables and trees before....and somehow I seem to accumulate them all over again and then some. Time to give them away again!!!
