The best fishing lure is deluxe. to make it you need metal discs and fish hooks. Which can be dropped on all 3 main land areas and on 2 bahamarama areas not including crystal falls. You will need trees and crops.
The event crop for Home Sweet home can be planted on main farm and green meadow and bahamarama main.

My strategy will be put event crop on those lands and the other 2 lands either all trees or combination of trees and crops.

Home sweet home needs 19,250 slippers. plantable on main farm, green meadow and bahamarama field. 3 fields only.

    Thanks for starting the thread.

I will go for the deluxe lure too.

i will go for the deluxe too. I think I will grow long crops over night on 2 or 3 fields and the other fields I will put all long time trees :)
ps... I just read the faqs for Home Sweet Home and so I will probably use the 3 main lands for all the crops and the 2 baha for trees :) because I usually get more drops from crops on my main lands than I do in baha lands :) I will adjust accordingly ;)

My strategy for two big events at once looks like this: [IMG]

Okay, Just took a peek at the FAQs. Folks, the cloud row for the quilt event requires a donation of 300,000 MAINLAND TREE FRUIT! Put out your Maple Sap trees. Because Silver leaf is the only thing higher, and I don't know about y'all but my two poor little silver leaf trees cannot make enough to get to 300,000 in time.

Second highest valued tree is cork oak. Followed by those hawberry, silk flower, chaste berry and salt cedar. Note: the silk flower is the old one - NOT the Persian one.

Off to plant trees and run around like a crazy person.

Are there any bigger chances for drops if I use xxl trees?

No. In fact, XXL trees take a shorter length of time to mature, so often yield fewer drops. Your best bet for good drop rates is as follows: The trophies (which hopefully you have installed at the top of the wisdom tree) and the longest timed crops you can grow. Put them out overnight. That's what I do. Grow the event crop during the day. Then at night I put out carnations or rose hips. If you have cloud rows which increase drop rates, make sure they are activated in the morning and then harvest.

yes but you can use your baha trees too if I read that correctly so if you have a lot of high ep trees built up you wouldn't need to plant maples right? :)

19250 slipper plants over 3 fields. Have I miscalculated this because I'm thinking I may skip this one! If I do it, I'll plant event crops on those fields and then trees on the other fields (for fishing event) - I always find them a nightmare to get drops from. Just a reminder that 12hr trees can be harvested twice a day so will possibly yield more results overall.

we need 1 million worth of breeding animals.
    300,000 in main land fruit
    120,000 in products
    750,000 in crops
    100,000 in animals
    100,000 in fruit
last 3 doesn't say main land so thinking it is either

That's what it says at the bottom, but look at the level 3 of house four directly above - mainland fruits. So one or the other is correct, and until a mod edits one or the other, I'd figure mainland fruits is mainland fruits, regardless of what is said in the "note".

I'm away part of Thursday, so I think I'll just be fishing as well.

As for the Home Sweet Home event -- pass. It looks equivalent to setting my barn on fire.

Do we have to donate separately to the 3000? Or does all the donations in the 4 houses go towards the 3000 as well?
I keep reading it but just can not get my Brain to figure it out . ( Being sick does not do the brain good at times like this ..lol )

Good Luck to all who Go For It! :)

Definitely yes. Drop chance is not based on how long the actual tree takes but on how long the base tree does. So, base trees (20 hs, or whatever they take depending on kind) are only better when preparing for the initial harvest at the start of the event, only for that initial harvest. Conversely, if harvested more or less on the dot when they mature, XLs of the same tree kind will afterwards perform always better than its base, and XXLs even more so, simply because they condense in a shorter time the chance of yielding any drop kind that the base tree would have.
