I always liked the fishing events, I think they're fun and relatively low pressure. However, if you're going to have it called Hooked on ICE fishing, the graphic interface screen should show the bear in a parka and earmuffs, with a hole in the ice, snow all around, etc. Those are just ideas, but right now it looks like he's on a river in the middle of summer, so not sure why it's being called Hooked on ICE fishing.

I always like this event. :) I like the prizes and that I'm not using stuff from my barn to get ahead.

Easy to get the CR, much appreciated! Love all the extra goodies to go for! Thumbs up BP ;)
Only complaint I have is the variance between the "sweet spots" on different browsers. It's been a guessing game/trial by error situation with multiple farms that are open in different browsers o_O

I am enjoying this event too. I am finding that it is easier to get the necessary drops for the particular Lures I want to make. I did have to re-hash my farm a little to make sure I got some Metal Discs but it was not a problem. It actually helped that we couldn't use all the fields, it gave us a choice where to put, in my case, Trees. :music:

I really have no idea whether I am a poor shot or whether the "sweet spot" (thanks PeepsCA for saving me trying to explain what I mean!) moves cos I get different results from the same spot. o_O

But I have managed to get everything I wanted and some things that I didn't actually need but may come in handy. I still have two days left and will net (pun intended) a few EP items for bartering purposes. 8)

I must admit I never noticed this Bear was in the wrong season - not being the observant type - I was only interested in the ripple made by my Lure! :p

Now that i am done with home sweet home i have trees in every field except crystal falls. only way i could get metal discs.

We need more time for fishing event.

Illy just fyi... the faq shows that the results will vary for each "sweet spot", or perfect spot as they refer to it (actually for all spots). I don't remember if that was the case before with all the prior fishing events o_O

I love this event every time it comes around. I had no problem getting the drops in a good ratio to each other. I always like the option to "buy" whatever prizes I like. That is a huge plus. I do not care for the greater variation in rewards for the result; I preferred when it was more predictable. Every marlin that I got came from a less than perfect catch. About which I am not complaining - but I got pretty good at getting the brightest circle. At any rate. Still very pleased with this event. I will say again though.... PLEASE stop with multiple events at the same time. I realize that these two events did not affect each other directly - but still, it's a lot to think about especially when there is a function within the event that requires sitting and clicking, like the fishing. PLEASE make these events separate from each other.

Really enjoyed this event. Not stressful -- just a nice, enjoyable pace, and I didn't have to clear my entire farm for just 1x1 crops. I was able to get old CRs and givers I didn't have. Thumbs up on the Fishing event from me. :)

An added note: I did not participate in the Home Sweet Home (just the Fishing). Agree with above comments about multiple events at the same time. It's too much, especially around holiday season. People are busy bees this time of year. Actually, even without the holidays, I prefer not to be drowning in constant events, which seems to be the pattern lately.

Slow down, take a breath, enjoy the farm air...

Love it - keep bringing it back. This farm managed to get lots of nice goodies and a couple of CR's with givers, so very happy.

I too really loved this fishing event! The prizes were priced reasonable and I was able to get the 2017 CR and one from the past that I had missed.
The con for me, was that on my farm hooks were very hard to come by, no matter what crop I grew, or how many hours it took to grow it. Also there was NO sweet spot to get a Marlin either. When I was right on the lit up area I got a puffer fish or below, and if I was totally off the mark I got a Marlin, so it was
hard to figure out just what I should be doing! I really hope that the team can fix this for the next time as I really do love to fish!;)
