Here is my attempt at a strategy thread but all bets are off as to how I will actually manage it!

4,500 Poison Ivy
650 Obsidian

In addition:

You need to deliver Farm Goods to the 2 Side Progress bars. Each time you fulfill a step, it brings you extra and better rewards from the Main Progress Bar.

Each step of the left progress bar adds 50 CC x Farm level (maximum 250 CC x Farm level) to the rewards of the Main progress bar.

Each step of the right progress bar adds 50 TEP x Baha level (maximum 250 TEP x Baha level) to the rewards of the Main progress bar.

The side bars can be completed at any stage, but they will not change rewards already collected from the Main progress bar.

Main Progress bar (fully completed left & right sidebars adds 250 CC x Farm level & 250 TEP x Baha level to each Main reward level)

I will start off my first event crops and at the same time growing the Ghosts and Tombstones I need to complete the side bars!

PS: There is also the Companion Event (see FAQs above) - though where we are going to grow the crops for these, I don't know!

Just need someone to work out requirements for other event and to see if, I want to do both events, both events can run at same time on one and a half fields with no SG buffs. Only MM buffs to assist.

 

The Companion Event is feeding Bats with Jelly Ear Kebabs:

8 x Jelly Ear Fungus (6.5 hours), 50 x Killer tomatoes
Can be milled in both mills

As said, not sure how many we can make while trying to grow 4,420 Poison Ivy and any other MM crops we are lacking! I'm just hoping I left something good in the spooky fields lol!

Howdy Farmers,

Game Design had another look after receiving the initial user feedback of some countries
about the Farm Shop Tycoon Event. The event plants and drop items will be changed to the Moonlight playfields and the requirements will be decreased accordingly to the changes.
As soon as Game Team have finalized the balancing, we will update you.

Ah, sorry to disappoint, One Two, but these are the revised requirements.

The original event was on the three mainland fields and needed 7,500 crops 1,000 drops!

 

Shew, glad they changed it to MM fields... my jaw hit the floor when I read the original FAQ

Oh and... Pssst... Illy...

I counted 4,500 Poison Ivy

Not sure how many bats I'll feed... there's just way too many disappointing prizes possible from the bats that IMO just are not worth the wasted MM time/crop space ​

 

I know, illy. I didn't post my above post as reply to your post. Just wanted to bring to notice to our fellow players that the event place have been changed. I din't notice your second post. I will put up an explanation in my previous posts. Sorry for the confusion.

One Two - we posted at the same time but I didn't realise, thought you hadn't spotted that it was a change!

 

I will do the Tycoon portion of the event with poison ivy solely for the ghost trees and givers for the Manor. I will skip the Companion event that feeds the bats. I would like to focus on the quests I have in progress.

 

As in real life its about choices.

Therefore with thinking about it, after my initial dismay at what BP were trying to do, I will attempt main event just for the trees and take advantage of the MM fields open for 6 days even though I dont have 2 full fields open yet.

I enjoy the bat style type of event as a stand alone event, if anything BP could of had this event on the special event area

Well I am thinking that I am going to do what I can and be happy with whatever results I get. The pressure is off with this event because there's no cloud row to aim for. If we don't get all the givers, not the end of the world. or is it? Just dawned on me, we might get a cloud row down the road that needs those givers...would BP do that to us?

I will work the main event and the last piece of Mushroom Forest (it's MF II, the toughest one for me).

 

Now dumbunny would BP do that to us .................... most probably

 

With all the time away from my farm the past year I'm incredibly behind on MM. I'm going to focus on the mushroom forest quests and try to get those done. I might try for a few bats or some of the prizes for the donated crops but that will all depend on how I do on my main goal.

 

I love anything related to MM, so I'm in for however far I can go! But I'm also focusing on opening all of my MM fields as well still.

*Edit* to say, after looking at the FAQ more closely, I'm definitely going to try to complete this event as I want those really cute givers for my Haunted Manor! Also going to try to finish the companion quest as there are some decent prizes associated with that. Good luck to everyone participating!

 

So now we have 3 events to do at once??? What, 2's not difficult enough? As much as I love feeding the little bats, I think I will be skipping them and will concentrate on the tycoon event on main MM field, while trying to catch up on some crops I'm low on with the other. Overall, I think I'd skip the event entirely were it not for those mystery trees.

 

I'm somewhat baffled by the fact BP didn't decide to have MM and related events up and running for just 24 or 48 hrs.
THAT would've made it real scary!

Now it's just like any other grow, grab, throw, grab event. I hope we do have some time left for our regular creepy farming once we've done the main event. Leftover time and other MM goals will determine if I'll feed a bat or two.

I have only got two more Areas of Mushroom Forest, more area space does help you with MM Events and MM Quests. But both are tough to do, so i will work nudging away on one of them.

Moonlight Shop Tycoon event is worth doing as i like to get Ghost Eerie Wonder Trees, Plus all of the new givers to be placed in Haunted Manor.

I will stock up on some Jelly Ear Fungus as these will be permanent new MM crop, do a few goes feeding the Bats. Then i will resume to growing spooky crops after i grown 4500 Poison Ivy

Wait and see how things go during MM

Oh my goodness! I have been slacking at clearing Mushroom Forest Need 13 more fairies. Oh well, guess I will do what I can and hope for the best Obviously I need to really focus on restocking my reg MM crops so I can get more Weeping Willows and Cat Fairies. Sure there is something else I need too I think I am pleased with the givers going in the field instead of a CR. At first I thought the 38xlevel couldn't be correct but for me it will give 4104 every 10 hrs so..... Best of luck to all!!! Next decision---wrenches or obsidian for gifting??

phoenixboy, I think the event is only 5 days although I could be wrong. A reminder that TB's won't work on the event crop but do you think they will work on the Fungus(?) because it's going to be permanent? hmmmm...probably won't happen till after the event
