Moonlight Shop Tycoon Strategy

Still slogging away at this event. I need 110 Obsidian and have the last event crop in the ground. I'd be further ahead if it wasn't for Doll's Eye. Hmmm, yeah that's the ticket, it's the Doll's Eye's fault.

 

I finished growing all the poison ivy needed last night, but still need 99 obsidian to finish the event. I've been getting roughly 45-55 obsidian per duskshadow harvest. I have a harvest coming up in a few hours & then will plant again overnight so I should definitely make it by tomorrow morn and then will feed the bats all day before event ends.

I had a few more goes at Pick a Tree Spree guess what i won Grave Candle Cactus at first attempt so happy to get it. Like i said earlier it is pointless to put this tree out during MM events no matter what you throw at it, it will never ripen in time to be harvested
But it must be place in MM Field add SSG to it before an MM Event Ends

I have completed this event, grew bit too many Poison Ivy lol, I did not bother doing last two steps of Right side, not worth 2 x Vampire Serums (can be brought in the markets), no need for me to need 6GB either got way too many of them. It makes sense to use spooky crops on more useful things to help with Spooky Quests or Jack Shop stuff.
I have now on got the last area of Mushroom Forest to unlock

Guess what Eerie Wonder Trees won from this event gave me two more Grave Candle Cactus

 

Just 17 obsidian away from being finished. I will also get 3 more slime monster pits by tomorrow to put out before the MM ends and hopefully have enough to get one more cat fairy as well.

 

17 left over event crop. Whew! And I still have one more day to grow crop (the potion plant) I need to open another section of the mushroom forest.

The trick as I see it with the cat fairy stable is that you have to have enough of the creepy willows to mill the feed. I was short those trees up until the last MM - one day, but I made sure I picked up a couple more willows, so now at least I can keep up with the feed for those fairy kittehs.

My Mushroom Forest is fully open after force feeding Kitty's with PF to take advantage of a 100 percent spin off the wheel, I skipped the event and have just the Evil Twin and Forest 2 fsq's to work on... and evil twin is awaiting one more harvest of Kitty's. I need Crow and Bat Roosts so gotta get growing and cracking.

 

I finished the event yesterday morning. I had a good chuckle at the previous posts about the cactus tree. I also used mulch and suddenly called myself a name for something that is so obvious Mooboy, gotta say I am a little jealous!! I did win 3 of the Ember trees Congrats to all!!

 

Finished the event today morning. Will open 4/5 of the land by tomorrow. Got the Arboretum too. So far had only 3 cat fairy pens. Didn't make more of it as I had to get more of the creepy willow tree to make feed for it. Thought the same as dumbunny and waiting to get more willow tree before getting cat fairy pens. After unlocking the 4th plot tomorrow, I am shifting my focus on creepy willows & cat fairy pens. We need lots of them to unlock the spooky arboretum & one plot of the field. Just as mooboy said, the spooky wonder trees gave me lots of nightgleam trees which were very helpful. But I think, they don't give creepy willow trees. So going to build few of them. Made a slime pit monster pen. And I think its enough for me right now. Have 6 in total.

 

In all my eerie wonder trees I've opened between both farms, I've never gotten a creepy willow.

I milled a few more kebabs last night so will give one more feast to the bats today and call it done.

 

Well... I was wrong. I did not have MF IV marked with a green tab. This is definitely the toughest one.
More Cat Fairies please!!

 

Running woefully short on drops, though I've been busy. If anyone has a spare gift, please send me some obsidian! I can send to others as well tonight. Just let me know if you need some!

Or tips for getting more drops? Ivy doesn't seem to be doing much, but I think I'm on my last batch, so I can plant something better. Got all my trees and pens out.

 

Raising 200 cat fairies is pure torture ... took me forEVER, and I even force fed them PF like Banjoman did lol

 

Done and dusted on the event. I was worried due to having so few drops to start. Due to some very nice farmers, I was able to finish it this morning and am now doing regular MM farming. Need some bat roosts and crows. Probably only have time for bats.


I wonder why the requirements for the levels you have to go to diamond to get the extra land have such high requirements?

 

I PF'd the first 50, but saving my PF for the the Breeding event(that looks interesting).

Big Congrat's to all on getting that mushroom forest open!!!

I can see now it's going to be a long up hill battle but worth it in the end.

I finished yesterday - I admit it - I wanted to finish the event and still wanted some time to grow MM crops for more important things - Like opening up MM fields! So I bought a basket. Good thing too! No power today. No checking this AM or at lunch! It is finally back on. I would have been googly eye toast on this one otherwise. (I had to get a locksmith to get into my house; I didn't have a key in my purse and couldn't get in via garage! My poor doggie! Key is back in my purse!)

Eerie trees don't give Creepy Willows. I only have one! Need another for Fairy's. Need more Fairies and Creepy Willows to open space! Ugh! the circular drama! Grow! Grow! Grow!

Did I say I really love it when we have more than 24hrs for MM? I really do!

 

Need 90 Obsidians for penultimate level...
