Sorry to start thread on a negative but again we have 2 events that have drops that are gifts to neighbours.

Getting sick of this choosing what to send to my neighbours. Sorry in advance to my understandable neighbours if I send wrong gift

 

I'd like to add my voice to phoenixboy12. Running two events, each have a drop to pass, at the same time is insane. Please stop this nonsense!

 

Hmm.
New Haunted Manor + MM quest providing new givers for it = high participation rate.
High requirements in event crops and event drops + regular drop rate = MM quest can't be finished in time, not even with all MM space opened.

(Longest MM crop = 8 hrs grow time, provides about 30 drops per full field. 3 harvests per day = 90 drops per field, total drops = 180 per day while 210 drops per day are needed PLUS a little over 11,000 event crops have to be grown at the same time without any avialable space for it. Go figure.)

Hmm.
I like a good challenge when it comes to events but it has to be a realistic, achieveable one. This one isn't and I think BP set this one up to sell event baskets to us and hopes we do buy a truckload.

All I need to make a chance is a longer timed MM crop or a higher drop rate for MM specific. Maybe the game team forgot about the absence of long timed crops, trees and pens on MM?

 

The quest for this event- most of the items of the regular crops were used up on the last barn emptying event- and with so LITTLE time on these fields there is no way to ever catch up- another event that has to be skipped to just catch up a bit. 2 events with drops again is a sad state of this game as it means in order to complete both there has to be money spent. I see more and more players dropping the game and moving on to other games. I am considering it as well although I like the farm concept for entertainment but this is becoming not fun any more.

 

Another event I'm not participating in, just going to focus on opening another MM field. The name of this event reminds me of a Hannibal Lector scene from one of the movies.

 

I started this one and then stopped due to the ridiculous drop rate. I'll focus on opening that final part of mushroom field and the grow crops to complete all stages of that crop. I wonder if anyone actually thought this one through properly. Oh and add my voice to the STOP doing more than 1 event at a time.

 

I started this event with high hopes and after less than a day I've given up on it. The drop rate is ridiculous coupled with a huge amount of event plant and regular MM plants needed as well. You do remember we have limited space and short time allotments on these fields, right? At best I hope to get one of the givers but even that is a stretch.

My one positive is having 4 days of MM and over a weekend as well.

 

I was gonna wait to see what I can do of this event before I posted... but no need to really. I am gonna see what I can do.. As I don't like going down without a fight... This event seems like there is NO way of doing unless you spend MONEY.. I like the sales and all.. I like once a month for things.. That is OUR choice to spend money... That is where you GET most money. But when you force people to PAY to PLAY it becomes a USELESS GAME.

As I said i like to try before I quit. Tommrow is another day.. I have already nuked crops which I bought Super grow to do so.. I am gonna say this event is NOT doable... And you BP know this. If DROPS cant improve you have set us up to FAIL... I got to say BP That is NOT right...I only hope you change this DROP RATE and make me eat my words... I know I mentioned to you about this RAT we have in this game eating our DROPS... DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS RAT. It has gotten SUPER hungry lately... and we are suffering from it.

The ONLY good thing is we can use this time to ingore a event you planned... and do some MM farming.. BP put your time to use.. if we cant like a event... DO SOMETHING before it ends.. Let not your time goto waste.. Oh wait, my bad.. you did planned this.

EDIT: Thank you for adding time to event.. I was super close to just dropping the event.. Now I like others still hope that the rat has ate enough of our drops that it is some what full and its not that hungry any more

We can understand somethings you wont know till it goes live and you see this and you took action.. Again Thank you BP

 

I have 2 farms... this one at level 103, LL Rune at 29%, and another farm at level 115, LL Rune at 30%. Both farms have the Mushroom Forest fully opened. Both farms had the longest MM crops out and around 100 10-12 hour (mostly PURCHASED) Eerie/MM trees spread out over both fields in hopes for substantial initial drops, for just such an event... results were 74/75 drops. WHAT??? We need 855 to finish the event!!! Event crops are ONLY yielding between 12-16 drops per harvest. Again... WHAT??? Seriously how are lower level farmers with little or none of the Mushroom Forest open even supposed to complete HALF of this event????
The only way you'll bail yourself out of this one BP is to increase the drop rate IMMEDIATELY, or add 2 more days to the event.

THUMBS DOWN to the Devs that drew this one up and threw it at us without thinking it thru. It's called quality control guys, Google it.

As a higher level Premium paying farmer that also pays for a lot of extras to play this game for fun, I'm getting REALLY sick and tired of struggling for drops every single event. It is NOT fun, and it makes me feel like a low level farmer again.... and that really does not sit well with me, especially while you have raked in and continue to rake in pocketfuls of my money


And another thing I am getting sick and tired of... having to leave AND read so much NEGATIVE FEED BACK.
Get it together BP, you're running us off one by one.

Appreciate the event extension of 1 day, hopefully you increase the drop rate too

 

Thank you Game Team for understanding the players feedback and for extending the event with a day. Taking action on the flaw was much needed and I appreciate it. Still.. it's best to avoid the fuzz and player dissapointment by having events checked and tested before those go on line.

Please note that the event has been extended with 1 day, therefore the Creepy Dinner Party will end on Wednesday, the 7th of March.

The event timer in game will be updated on Monday.

I am quite enjoying the event - I love MM though I am finding it a little distracting with another ongoing event but apart from that, I am enjoying an extended MM event.

This gives me more time to get to my goal of opening 1st part of Mushroom field, its going to be close if I do it this time around but not for the lack of effort.

Glad I didnt attempt event as DROPS are NON existent, virtually impossible for me to do event anyway with way DROPS are

thank you for the extra day. But that still does not address the issues of multiple drop events requiring choosing what to gift neighbors; back to back to back events that are exhausting, and requirements that can only be met by players who can be at the keyboard exactly when they need to harvest. When I started playing this game, seven years ago, events were challenging and required planning, but were completable if a player understood that this is not a time waster game like many, but is actually a long running strategy game. Now, events are clearly a method by which the parent company seeks to make money. The prizes have, on the whole, improved, so skipping an event is harder for committed players - but doing the event leads to frustration and stress. I have that in my real life. Don't need it in my hobby.

(the event itself is quite lovely and thank you for the extended MM. Just wish it was a stand alone thing with reasonable requirements)

 

I think the drop rate is IMPOSSIBLE

 

The rewards seem tempting at first, but as I played the event it seems that the drop rate is the worst I have ever seen. So really there isn't any point playing if the rewards are unachievable. Overall one of the worst event planned

 

Thankyou for the extension - but even with this extension unless you also up the drop rate whilst updating the timer I still fail to see how this one can be completed when needing to grow event crops and any other crops, especially with the high quantity demanded. However, I do love the event plant; it would be great to be able to keep this one.

 

The drop rate for this event is abysmal.
I find I'm doing less events because the demands are almost impossible to meet.

 

Well BP, where to start!? I guess with the good, Thank you for the extra day, and this should have been a fun event, as the graphics are cute, and the related quest is ok and the "givers" that go with the CR are cute, BUT most of us will NOT get that CR up and running because as EVERYONE has said the drop rate is just horrible! To have to get
855 drops on these ONE plus lands (depending how much of the mushroom forest one has open)
is insane! I have all but one left to open with pens, trees, and crops and am getting NOWHERE!
I really hope someone there reads this and pays attention, I am NOT a complainer BUT enough is enough!
