Happy Farm News 2nd edition

I know there used to be a thread for this. No idea what happened to it but surely there are still happy farm events both new and older farmers would like to share. I'll start.

I just won a PINK dog pen on the farm wheel!

I have a super neighbour- R, who has sent me a a pink cat, dog, mouse and crow stable over the past few months. As well as countless PF - I'm the luckiest neighbour, and R the most generous neighbour there is. Thank you

 

Think I share your neighbour Hatzeva! If not, I have one that is equally generous with the same initial!

My happy news is that, after a long, hard slog, I have managed to open up every Statue in the Temple! My GB stock is at 0 and I am sure I am going to regret it sometime soon but for the moment I am reveling in the joy of completing one of my goals!

My happy farm news today is that my best neighbour S decided to come back playing, after 7 month away! I've missed her so much and I'm so happy to have my friend back!!

 

I hit the 100% bonus on the farm wheel!!! It's always happy farm news with I hit one of those.

 

My happy farm news is that during the last gift and trade event, I somehow traded for 3 egg trees and a milk tree! I couldn't believe it. I never thought I would see either growing on my farm.

 

Having a very good farm day (thou it will be a long one). Started day needing 50 Cat Fairies to open last part of Mushroom Forest & 50 Cardboard Boxes to get my 1st Snail pen. Won the 100% Harvest Bonus for 24 hrs 1st thing early this morning! Finished The Big Swirl event last night, so working on FSQ's as well as those Cardboard Boxes & Cats needed on main farm fields.

Focused on MM fields, main field is full of event crop with Mushroom Forest full of 6 Cat Fairy & 6 Slime Monster pens, 2 arboretums & dozen or so other trees, and the rest with MM crops needed! NOW have last Mushroom Forest field open finally - YEAH!!! I can hardly believe it. It was going to be close then BP extended MM, then I got the farm wheel bonus!

Event crop is going well & if I'm able to stay awake I will have all the event crop needed to finish. Because I've been harvesting MM often to take full advantage of the bonus, I need 75 drops to complete Creepy Dinner event.

I got the 200% Harvest bonus the last day of the Mushroom Forest I event, which allowed me to just & I mean just finish that event before it ended. With that extra space I've been able to keep up as they've given us the II, III, IV & Arboretum events. And now all done! I still have a lot of the Mushroom Forest events to complete, but I'm going to take a break on those for a couple of MM's & concentrate on restocking & some things from Jack's Shop I want/need.

Opening all of Mushroom Forest has been such a struggle & wouldn't all be open now without 3 very lucky & well timed farm wheel spin bonuses. Just a day I needed to share. Tired but going to stick it out to finish those Occult Puffballs!
@hatzeva glad your neighbor came back, lets us know if they need anything.

I found a Goat Milk tree on the trading market for a Yew tree (I had 3). I couldn't believe my luck!

 

I maxed the rune for manure today, alittle late for my wallet (market wiped me out) but I couldn't have spent my stars on anything better

 

Good news - I got =1 harvest for 6 hours. Bad news, can't make much use of it as we are going out for the day. Just the one harvest is better than nothing I suppose.
I have achieved my aim of have nearly 3,000 of each feed on Baha although I only have 10 for the two pens I don't have yet.
I also have a box full of abandoned lists of aims! Something always comes along which takes priority. Oh well, I can always light the fire with them.

 

I just opened the rune for 7 friends instead of 5 ! Was waiting not too patiently for that ! PLUS I won a pink goldfish pond on my new farm purplepassion123 I may not see it for quite a while, lol but eventually she will place her lovely shells on my little farm Love this thread...

Well not much good news but I am sure am happy... one of my neighbors told me what to use to level my confectionery and it helps a lot compared to what I been using... Easter marmalade gives 270 and i been using Tomato chutney for 100 exp... what a difference...lol Plus I got the rune opened to give me 25% plus exp so now i get 337 off the Easter marmalade instead of 270 . I got 21 left.. gonna hunt 19 more down and when i use up 5 a day... i will be on level 4 of confectionery in 8 days if I get the missing Easter marmalade's ..lol

 

Wow, Easter Marmalade is too precious to use to level up Jazac!

At least in my opinion. Sell it or use it to gain 30% more EP for 12 h's instead. When you're level 3 in Confectionery you better start producing the level 3 base product "Traditional Jam" which is the base for CAC. Once reaching level 4 you can never have too many "Traditional" to make all them tasty CAC . A bit slower but much more cost effective.

 

Oh MY I just checked out that sweet sounding marmalade and it really is borderline "liquid gold". I have reached level 3 on beet farm , but not even opened my sweet shop here... trade pink shells for a marmalade biscuit

 

Ouch, the thought of using my marmalade on this is almost painful. I guess if you have a lot of it and never use it, still you can sell it for quite the fortune in CC's. I admit when I got close I used 5 Island paradise jams to hit the final level. Before that I used lavender jam for my daily 5 and I made tomato chutney or CAC everyday. Plus the big recipe once you reach level 5 is Easter Marmalade. Kind of ironic to use all yours up just to get the ability to make it. Still it's you're game so if it makes you happy than go for it.

 

I used Lavender Jam - it's pretty good.

 

I used Easter marmalade. I use all stuff that grants more EP, and that's what Easter Marmalade does I think.

On a happy note : I have opened Bat Breeding Crows next

Did I forget my happy news? Oh, mmm, well, I am only 206 Cat Fairies away from opening the last MM land! Yet another !

 

I am truely sorry but I cant use it.. No slots left... A bit slow making and waiting on sugar making traditional chutney..I did that for like 21k.. prices at market for CAC has like doubled in last month.. I don't have the coins to keep buying CAC.

I am so sorry I mentioned it, as I bet it was painful for you to hear what I was doing with it.. If it makes you feel better I went to check the prices of Island Paradise Jam.(both gives 270exp).. and it is lower then the easter one... so I swapped the two.
Got the Island and put Easter back on market to hopefully get my coins back.. well some anyway...

To the other you mentioned.. I cant get to level 5, if I don't make it to level 4... level 4 is where you make CAC.. kinda hard to make something when I cant get it at level 3..

Ok I think I made my comments ok... Oh don't worry about me and my Faces... I used them the best I could..
Please I do think everyone for the advice.. I do listen as some of you do know I don't turn advice away... I try to value it to MY GAME PLAY best I can..

Since I cant use the Easter marmalade or the Island Paradise jam (as a buff) I am using them the best way I can.(helps greatly to level confectionery). So with that said I buy.I use , you make and sell... and then one day it swaps.. I make and sell you buy and use. Otherwise we wont make money as market be useless

I now can make CAC 1/3 of the time using the method someone told me. While it may NOT be the method you would choose. But as said I can't and rarely use them buffs anyway.. NO spaces to use them..Or when I do and CAN use... I FORGET .

Now to open more runes on the tree since I forgot they was there to help level My artisan village.

Now back to topic of the thread. I know it may be late to say this, well not to late as Not but a few days ago I did win a good breed animal on the wheel.. I never really paid attention to that as figured getting a good animal on the wheel??? HAH.. yea right...but its true I did...If I didn't see it I would've never believed it ..lol

EDIT: I also want to say I did open a spot on my MM field.. Me so happy I got more spaces now.. I was running out with all the trees and pens I needed to have out to open more.

 

My good news I got 10,000,000 CCs in one of my crate of country coins, I couldnt believe it. I also was able to open bat breeding last MM and got crow breeding open this time. I also got 2 Bridal ducks from crates this week, very exciting week. Also when I collect from fuzzle this evening it will be 365 log ins, that is one year, so its my Farmerama Birthday!!! I cant believe It has been a year, I was totally hooked from day one and not missed a single day logging in so have not had to reset my login streek.
