I wasn't going to be doing this event but since I am happy with my barn levels on Baha, I grew some camelina on the island. I forgot how much fun this event is, planning the course and deciding what fuel to use. I love the chance to double prizes as we please.

When I began the game, it was possible to complete an event using 2x2 and leaving out a few pens and trees. Now, there is no way to finish unless you use 1x1 and let's be honest, the more land gets added, the less possible it becomes to harvest by hand. There are people, like myself, who will always buy the harvester no matter what. That is our choice, and makes game play more enjoyable. Events should not be used to force players to have to spend real money, on harvester or baskets or super grow. It should be the CHOICE of the player to do these things to speed up the completion of the event - not that a normal person, playing two to three times per day, has no choice other than to buy these things.

I accept that this is not a game that a person can play once a day or a few times a week. But it SHOULD be a game that can be successfully played by people with lives. Please take it back to a fun game, one that has events as a periodic addition, but where the real focus is on growing things and raising animals, where we can actually have a surplus in our barns so that we can sell at the market, strategize, and develop a play pattern that suits us, instead of all having to play exactly the same way and struggle just to feel like we can play. Month after month you get the same complaints, from a wide variety of players, not your new players who don't yet understand that you SHOULD have to play a year before you start finishing events. This is not a short term game - make it rewarding to everyone who plays, by rewarding them for playing, not punishing them by making them scramble.

ACES HIGH...turned into Jokers Wild...I am so disappointed...As a new player...103 days in...Avid Player..."with a day job"...I understand I may not complete certain challenges...being new...trying to figure out things to do...how to do it...I have even cancelled plans to try to achieve a challenge...to have a sense of accomplishment...for the fun of it...BUT...when I reached Level 3 and saw those extra dots in the squares...I took a double take...realizing I had to grow extra fields...yada, yada, yada...and I did...I used my gold coins to buy triple water...had to work the weekend...then got news that my childhood friends Dad passed away...so I continued to just play the game...thinking of years gone passed...then once I saw Plane Level 4....and ALL the EXTRA DOTS...just to move 1 square space, could not be achieved in one move as before...seemed overly cruel...following the Moonlight...How can this be deemed "Medium" if it's rigged to be difficult? The playing field is not the same across the board.........Early on...I bought what I may have needed to complete a challenge...but to feel as tho the game is not in our favor (meaning: new players) ...for "every or some" challenge is enlightening...I am on US time...and have even tried to "set my alarm" to work around the clock on my days off....sadly...that did not work either...What is the "guidelines for new players when the forum does not have the answers"

@winternashfarm So sorry for the loss of your friend's father, and I'm also sorry to read you are struggling to play and enjoy the game. But just so you know, the forum most likely does have the answers... just post any questions you have in the appropriate forum section. Also, join in on the strategy threads, there's always great info there, and you can always ask event questions there too. The admin team and TONS of fabulous and knowledgeable farmers here are all very happy to help out new players :)

I really liked the ideal we got to double anything we wanted.. Some of the prizes was great too...I even messed up and still was able to finish with like 1 day left... Had I not milled anything till today I could have doubled more prizes.. But I am ok with what I got. I was in a rush..with my big screw up, I didn't want to mess up any more....lol I enjoyed the event. Thank you BP.

I really enjoyed this event. It wasn't easy and I messed up a couple of times, being in the wrong place at the wrong time, up instead of down, instead of up, but overall, I thought it was fun and fairly stress free! Drops were adequate and the number of crops needed wasn't too taxing - for an experienced player. :music:

Great idea to make the Biofuel give us double dibs! :inlove:

First I wanted to skip this event as it involved 5 fields and I wanted to do some standard farming instead. Then I thought I will only go for a few important rewards. In the end I completed the whole event with pleasure and without stressing out. So for me it was a success. I liked deluxe fuel for double reward as it was a brilliant move. And I could have used them a bit more often, but that would require very detailed planning and I was not planning much, just guessing. All in all, very good event with decent rewards and decent drop rate. And it would have been a very nice challenge if I wanted to hold back till the last day and calculate my crops and drops into fuels for the best use of available rewards.

I rarely push hard to finish an event. Event's have so many good rewards along the way that even without full completion there is always something to grab, which is one of very strong features of this game. I can play with benefits whether I play just a little or a lot, whether I use CAC on 1x1 and tractors or not. I probably wouldn't play all event's even if their completion was always a piece of cake as my real life is good and fun and important and I play this game just as a bit of pass time enjoyment. So far, I can tell, the goal has been accomplished. Well done to developers. :)

Thank you for replying...I have looked in the forums...but not on a regular basis...I am figuring out the "initial" lingo...My Mom helps me or gives me suggestions...LOL...we talk about the game daily...she's on LeveL 167 and always finishes...My Dad is on LeveL 128....I still fell short of Aces High was 1 square away from getting the 2nd Gift Box of 5 Power Feeds on Game 4...It's just a game...but a fun one...this month is full of Challenges...so I'll just try again...Thank you again for your help! Hope you have a great day!

Growalot and -matselleste- both had excellent feedback for BP. But it basically is the same feedback that has been left over and over and BP evidently doesn't want to listen! I remember when we had the number of events that we currently have in one week during the whole month! The game was much more fun to play back then. We could farm to our hearts content and the events were exciting to participate in when they came! Now it"s -not another one (or more often two)! and if we don't participate, we usually miss out getting something needed to complete the FSQs

I did the event without planning to finish it, and I didn't. Came close, but still was short on drops. Double prizes was a nice idea, especially liked that for powerfeed. Mystery stables and trees are not of use unless they have a better chance of giving nwer trees and stables. Giver items have no place to go without the cloudrow, so they are useless to longtime players who ran out of space to put them long ago. Cloudrow are not as special as they used to be. like growalot said, crate of crap!

There are a lot of players that disagree with this. They (we) may not post so much, but I'm sure the numbers of players finishing and participating also weighs in on BP's decisions. I would be bored if there was only one event per month, and I like the fact events are no longer as important to the overall game. You can play just fine without doing events. And we do not need to pay to finish if we have the time to invest. Most events offer good prizes for smaller steps in the event, which means you do not have to do all of the event.

For me this was a good event. A lot of good prizes along the way, which we could to some degree choose. The double pick was a great addition, and I enjoyed the fact we also had to use sunflowers. I had plenty of event crop and drop left.

I usually enjoy events like this. I really did not enjoy this one, because of the delux fuel. It sounded like a great idea, as I usually have resources or time left over at the end of events, but it also added a threat of making too much delux fuel and not being able to finish the event.
Because of this, I waited until the last day to mill and donate to the quest, which meant most of the event was boring and unsatisfying and the last few hours were unusually stressful as I tried to work out how many delux fuel I should make and where I should use them.

It could be great if we could choose to go back after the main event and boost prizes, or if you could plan the whole event before committing as you do with the pipe game, but I'm not a fan of delux fuel in this format.

I dont want another cloud row thank you and isnt this the third time this event has been round? I agree with Swingtime. I'm out.. I also disagree with Moraine in that drops are way short on most events, just look at the complaints, hence having to buy baskets and extra drops to finish!
