So with this shocking result done with the event...skipped left side ....Good luck everyone

 

107 Breedings...Result: 145 Butterflies/ 146 Blue Emperor/22 Monarch butterflies/6 Yellow swallowtails/3 Sapphire wings/1 Gothic and 1 Virtual Butterfly..

Breeding house filled = 132 Butterflys Bred 524= 2423

Breeding results:
Butterfly = 2423 + 190
Blue Emperor = 172
Monarch = 35
Yellow Swallowtail = 8
Sapphire Wing = 1

Invested 524 vs Collected 406 = 118 Butterflys lost in breeding process.

Not too shabby. I really get a kick from receiving 4-6 butterflys back plus the upgrade as well. To me, it means I've just bred upgrades for free. I can use those returned butterflys in another breeding instead of waiting to grow them.

 

I just finished right side, left side and Main bar! Just because I could! lol I am hoping to get a Robin. I am off to do some more butterfly breeding to move them along. Good Luck to all, what ever you are striving for!

 

I didn't take stock of exactly what I got from my first breeding of 100, but I know I got all the monarchs and emperors, 2 swallowtails, and 1 sapphire wing...and 1 gothic from basics! Not as good as your virtual, sglick (congratulations!), but I'm happy with it. Finished entire event, and was going to do some more breeding, but at 81,000 per, CC greed kicked in and I listed my last 600 butterflies (turns out 1000 was more than enough), all of which but 1 listing of 100 have sold almost immediately, and I am confident those will go too. Still growing 3 fields to replenish stock/sell, whichever is the better option. A much better event result than was feared, thankfully! Absolutely adore the graphics! Happy skips, everyone!

I didn't like the event at first... But when it came live I went ahead and did left and right side... well i still need 102 butterflys.. I harvests this morning and said ok not losing anything so i decided to breed..thinking I was not gonna get far, I did not keep track.. but i did get these as skips along with the others as i was breeding.

Sapphire 3
Gothic 1
Red Velvet 1

I did not use that much powerfeed ethier... so I used more on other breedings i needed to get done...I am waiting on my last 100 butterflys so i can finish sides and then I will get the event done. I am very shocked at the skips for this event... to me it was great.. I remember last breeding event took way more power feed... but i may have goofed on it who knows..

 

I experimented at lunch with Puffin
16 butterflies or 4 breedings.
Results - 12 butterflies and 6 Blue Emperors

What rune did you guys open to get a Gothic? Searching the tree.... Found it!
I opened the butterfly breeding pack and received.
20 butterflies
20 Pheromones
10 PF
1 Pen

 

It's the rune with the lady bug on it, tb, right in the center.

 

I agree with you Jazac. The skips were more plentiful than in the past several breeding events. My best skip was a Red Velvet from regular. Decided not to do the sides - may change my mind before the event is over, but doubt it - the rewards just aren't worth it IMHO. Held back plenty of PF to do the upcoming neon event. . .now to resist the temptation to breed more in this BBD. Sometimes you just cant help yourself.

 

Can anyone tell I'm a butterfly fanatic? I kinda went hog wild and built myself a Pink butterfly.

Finished the event in no time. The skips were fairly generous to me, however I got better skips from regs and blue emperor butterflies. I got my first virtual from regs on my first round. Had to get the second the hard way, lol. I still have almost 500 butterflies, but I used a ton of PF. Only used about 250 PF for the event total.

Nice to see others having success. I've bred out all my 1058 butterflies with not fantastic results. Highest skip was to a sapphire wing and I only have 4 of those. So I'm electing to keep what I have and not do any donations. Just not my day for breeding I guess.

I am amazed, got the main bar done with the cr.I bought the Gothic from the tree of Wisdom, but not enough to do the sidebars, so I sold the extra butterflies. I could have done better, but was breeding a little before babyboom. baw congrats on the pink butterfly...that will be my next big goal. Now I love this event. Good Luck everyone.
