Considering the many new Baha animals and Baha wonder animals requiring higher level of crops and fruit to produce feed, I would suggest that Bahamarama items (crops and trees) within each chamber can be unlocked in any order.

I'm cool with a staggered system to opening the temple's chamber as per offering players some challenge, but it is already a lot of work to open new chambers and I for one have animals that I can only feed if I buy their feed at really high market prices.

Would be very helpful to let us unlock the items we choose in each chamber in any order, or maybe let us buy at the market Bahamarama crops and tree fruits we do not have unlocked yet (as it is for the main farm lands, we can buy crops above our own levels at the market).
    Vielen Danke!

You can't buy Mainland crops/tree higher than your own level. In that respect it is the same. Bahama gives you a somewhat freedom to pick and choose what you do want to open, but at the same time there are some obstacles we need to overcome. It is frustrating at times, but that frustration is also a motivator. Your suggestion would mean there would be a lot of statues people wouldn't need to open as they can buy what they need. Hence a lot of sensible people wouldn't. The drive to level up and go further in the game would be less. Less pressure some would say, less challenging and boring imo. There is a balance between too easy in one end and too difficult on the other end. The regular Bahama Animals already are placed in the proximity of the feed requirements in the chambers, so with a little thought and strategy there isn't that much of a banana gab that needs to be covered. The tricky part is all the rare animals. Which is basically the same as in the mainland.

I'm not in favour of this suggestion as it is presented. I do however acknowledge the feed prices are too steep as it is now.

Regular animals I agree, not a big deal. But when I first got my axolotl, I was probably 3 chambers away of what I needed to feed it. Since then I've got a giraffe and a seal... It meant hundreds of GBs just to get the items needed to feed them. I would say that it was challenging enough just to open the chambers! And there were plots of Crystal Falls to open also with GBs. I now have water lilies, but my giraffe and the seals will be in the barn for a while as it is not viable to keep them out on market feed.

I also keep animals in the barn that I cannot feed myself; however, I'm always checking the market for a deal on feed. When I find a deal I buy-up and get the animal/s out of the barn for a little fresh air, water and a well-deserved meal or three or so. When the food is all gone and no more deals are to be found... "it's back into the barn with you my friend." LOL
Doing this I don't feel as if I'm wasting as much time owning the animal and not getting any base animals at all. I'm getting some animal stock and not just collecting dust in the barn. Some of the new ones are high in value, so I feel I can not waste all that time until I can open the crops needed for food. Sometimes it's more than one type needed too.
As a way to earn a little extra cash for feed Sometimes I sit out on an event but playing as if I was doing the event by growing crops and collecting drops, not to play but for the cash-in at the end of the game. Then it's off to buy some food. You'd be surprised what you can earn.
    ;)
Hope you don't mind my butting in...

Great ideas FrootloopGrove! Thanks for sharing!
I run similar strategies. Sometimes I browse for the highest price on feed I can actually produce, and produce more of that to sell when the market is high, this way I compensate for the feed I need to buy for my giraffes and seals. It just adds to the many farming priorities... ;) Whenever I have the chance I do get them out of the barn as I'm trying to complete some of the menagerie/manufacturing quests and as you pointed, their contribute nicely to the requirements for animals since their value is high.

I support this idea! Exactly for the reason that when we get some new animals sometimes we can't feed them because we need to unlock a certain crop for which we need to unlock many other chambers first.
    Good suggestion RowSie;)
