If you like the prizes, and your barn is reasonably well stocked I'd say yes. You only need to grow an additional 1500 of the event crops, that's not too bad.

Good luck @Sue46 and everyone else too :)

Thanks Julie, I didn't bother with doing the math for those requirements or include them in my number crunching madness lol... in my first skim of the FAQ they looked reasonable enough for my farms (I had my eyezes on the prizes lol:cry:), so I didn't give them a 2nd thought. Ohh illlllllyyyyyyy ??? :p

@-Mir85-!!! OMG your mapped out "where to dig" strategy is AWESOME!!! (and so is getting 140 crates lol) Thanks!!! :inlove:

    Edit~

I think it is... the Mangrove tree doesn't excite me all that much but the other 2 trees, the stables and the GBs are really NICE prizes IMO! You may be able to just do the Silver Tasks in the first 3 Levels and not have to donate so many crops, tree fruits and animals, not sure yet tho. (But if you can then you won't get all of the fire berries, torches and branches). I'm not crunching the numbers for going that route... somebody else can LOL

Count me in, this one has some nummy prizes! :D I don't have a robin's nest yet, so I'll definitely be doing the companion quest, in full here and on bear, and as much as I can on mini me. Baha's in saguaro overnight, with a few trees which I may leave, will see, and my lion, hummingbird & the lovely little rhino I won yesterday from mystery stables are enjoying the mist from the falls :inlove:. It's nice for farmers to have mainland to use as they wish for a few days, so final prep for neons can be done. :) Me, I'll be growing chickens and rabbits as I am ridiculously low on them :p. Poo market won't be much good, since everyone's free to grow their own, but on the bright side, I should never run out the entire event, lol.

illy, I'm jealous, no Pitanga for me . Thank you for doing the math, and Peeps as well, and thanks also to Mir for the treasure strategy. Difficult as it will be, I'm going to try to save all the treasure chests won until towards the end of the event and open them all at once. Not easy for someone as compulsive as me.

So, just occurred to me - which is better buff to use for this, CAC or pineapple cake? Trying to avoid having a doh! moment first thing in the morning. :p

PAC is only +1 (25%)... be it on 1x1s of crops/event crops or on tree fruit. CAC is +2 on just crops/event crops. I'd go with CAC, you'll want +2 on your event crops (and on your initial harvest of Saguaros!). Or if you have a lot of trees you want +1 on, use a PAC first and hand harvest all the trees, delete the PAC, then activate CAC and harvest the crops... (guilty of doing this many times) lol.
Sure wish that 2nd diamond slot rumor would come true!

I think elRe is a computer with a completely different strain of EOCD than the rest of us LOL xD:wuerg:xD
Thanks for sharing, your strategy wouldn't work for me tho... because I am an overly greedy event junkie, and I want ALL the prizes and rewards lol 8):p;)

My other two farms followed Mir a little more closely - one got the treasure in five digs and the other in three (4 and 6 chests respectively!). :D

I have 217 drops so far. Think I will plant long time crops overnight - was going to concentrate on the crops but I can regain any losses of them later ... I hope!

Got 209 drops. Some as gifts from friends. Thank you. Not bad I suppose. Still I am not in my form. My brain is doing Non-Cooperation & seems I have lost touch with game strategy. In this event I am going to bring myself back into form. First step trying to understand Mir's diagram & follow. I do not know why but my brain cannot think.

Now going to go & play the first free mini game.:)

edit - I too got 8 crates in my first click.:D
