farmer_broke event photos

I'm hoping this link will turn into a picture and we can use this thread to post out updates. I have unlocked one breeding animal the Monkey and all my land is not open.

edit~ sadly it didn't turn into a pic but you can see my farm by clicking on it. I will try and find out how to fix this because I have done it in the past???

There is only one small concern which came to mind when looking at your photo:

There are many items which award tep, fine. There most likely will come a BP event where drops are obtained from Baha and or the rain forest. When/if that occurs then harvesting at all during that period of time may not be to ones advantage. But at that time, any tep giving items may be harvested with no drops. One might consider holding onto the tep item until there is no cost to harvest them as one may not wish to harvest trees, animals or crops.

I like the tep giver items. I like your thread too. Thanks for the update.

Thank you! I have read your' warning and I had not thought about harvesting the Islands during events hosted there and the drops that will come... at the end of the event, there will be a cash in and EPs could be awarded as well and TEPs and CCs. Consider me warned

There is a slightly different way of looking at harvesting during some events were drops come from Baha, rain forest and or crystal falls:

At the end of an event, most times the drops turn into at least a portion of ep.

The drops came from harvesting and/or event seeds and/or a a free try which we could not get rid of.

Sure the ep itself adds up and there is only so much any of us can take before the event ends for that farm.

BUT ALSO,

That ep we receive from foolishly harvesting during a period of time TAKES AWAY revenue that may be earned from producing on the mainland. And we put event more pressure on that farm in the Baha. I know this action also extends the time it takes to complete steps also.

Example:

Say I receive 100 ep from harvesting.
If I had produced say chickens for 7.5 ep that would have been about 13 chickens.
Say I can sell the chickens for 3,000 ccs (3,000 x 13 = 39,000)

Is it really necessary to harvest as give up the 39,000 potential revenue?

Up to each of us. ( I admit that I have harvested before and now know how foolish it really was and how it hurts the farm.)
