The pumpkin headed workers I found on my Moonlight fields have been busy constructing each stage of all 3 buildings at the same time. At first a stage needed a total of about 100 drops, towards the end progressing to about 140. Due to the ever lack of drops there where a very few breaks, mainly at night but the creeps started the very last stage this morning and now seem to wait for me to find another 75 drops within the next 43 hours so they can finish the job and disappear into the dark nowhere again. Hmm... 1 drop per 30 minutes. I think I can do that.

I've found no logic in the drop rate (8hr harvest could give 32 drops or 18, 1 hr harvest could give 3 or 11 drops) so just grow whatever you need and do harvest and replant as soon as possible.

-edit- found all drops needed and finished early, CR up and running, all workers vanished just before midnight. extra drops will pile up. How creepy that is!

I guess I'm still too low a level (82)to have much that gives good drops, 'cuz I'm still building my first building - the #3 one.
Have plenty of crops...just completely indecent drops!!
What a downer! This was a fun event, too.

Boo-hoo - Even though I have completed 2 buildings. I still need to get 490 drops to get the CR.

On the good side, I have opened my 3rd spot on the 2nd fields, and made a new Slime Monster.

Sglick - same here. I would have sent you drops but don't think it would have made much difference and I know you want tools.
At least my Haunted Manor has lots of space to place what I do get, but I will have an empty cloud row. And I will not be tempted to buy my way out!

Very good news on the extension, but I still wont finish event due to lack of drops and that is with constant growing and harvesting.

That might be the case.. I just recieved 47 (!) drops from a field with jelly ear fungus (6hr30). Highest drop I've seen. Might be a random one off but wanted to share anyways

 

I received 56 this morning from the jelly ear fungus and managed to finish the event. Once I finished the event crop, I have been trying to stock up each available plant and have managed to get more drops than with the event one.

 

22 obsidian and my Motel will be open for business. So, when construction is complete does the train drop off creepy guests?

Yes "Good Luck" to you all! I just finished and have the CR up and running, I love the "Bat Tower" giver on the CR it is creepy cute!
I can now build up my barn with the remaining time left as those Zombie sheep eat a lot!

I just received 45 drops from a field with ghosts (6 hour). I've had nothing like that amount before.

Good idea joanc123, a like for the extension announcement will let BP know we are taking notice.

 

Drop rate has changed too, has to be, suddenly it's at a decent rate. I thought this would be the first event in a long time I failed, but now I think I'll make it within the old time as well

 

Well that explains why I had 75 drops from a field & 1/4 of 8 hour crops.

It was pre-tea so I attributed all the drops to my many friends who sent me drops, but know that I have had some tea, woken up a bit and read this thread. I know it is because, BP is wising up. They don't want to upset too many of us all at once. That might upset their revenue stream.

I am so blessed to have so many friends. Thank you very much!!!

"Good Luck" to you all! I just finished and have the CR up and running....Surprise increase in drop rate helped in finishing the event earlier than expected...Zombie needs lot of feed and m short of Dolls eye.....

 

I finished with about 40 minutes before the original finish time. Not sure if I would have been so calm if there hadn't been an extension lol! Thanks BP! Now I can do a few more FSQs in the extra time and others can get those oh so rare (or not so much now!) drops.
