Thanks for posting your concerns habalala :) I hadn't looked at the distribution of the different crops, so I went back to the DE forum:

    Waterberry: 234
    Valley Rose: 261
    Prickly fungus: 305

So if anything the result seems to be skewed towards prickly fungus. Anyway, I'm not too concerned about the distribution. I'm calculating with 12 crops per 8 crates. 46 games should give around 46*12=552 crops. If the distribution is even, that'll be 552/3= 184 of each crop. If the result is skewed towards one of the other crops, I'll just plant that one first, doesn't really matter. I am confident that in the end, 60 games will give me all the crops I need.

Growing on main field and meadow only

Note: Requires manure or chestnut cloud row

Main principles as in previous post. Seeds needed: 183 of each

Important: Have all 60* greenhouses ready.
    • Clear 44 2x2 plots, 5 2x1 plots and 12 1x1 plots on both main field and meadow.**
    • Play 46 games
    • Sow prickly fungus on both fields (if you don't have enough, sow as many as you can and supplement with valley rose. The missing prickly fungus can be sown later by adding extra 1x1 plots). Apply SG.
    • Wait until prickly fungus is ready.
    • Play the remaining games as quickly as possible, but make sure you get enough of each seed.
    • Check correct amounts, 16 crops on 2x2, 14 crops on 2x1, 13 crops on 1x1 (with CAC).
    • Harvest prickly fungus.
    • On one field sow prickly fungus again, then three rounds of waterberry.
    • On the other field sow three rounds of valley rose.
Without the chestnut cloud row manure will have to be applied. The waterberry field will then be on a tight schedule, so make sure to harvest and resow on time! With chestnut cloud row there is a bit more room for idle time, even more so with both.

    * The first 7 may be played on beforehand unless you want to take advantage of the +100% EP on event plant bonus.

** For prickly fungus the number of 1x1 plots can be reduced to 10, and to 5 for valley rose. Number of prickly fungus seeds needed are then 177, 162 for valley rose.

What's important is whether the crops react to CAC. The Faq didn't mention otherwise, so let's hope the best. The point is to grow maximum herb out of one seed, that is, normal 2*2 land with Suzy growth and CAC - That is 9 herbs out of one seed if I'm not mistaken. One jar of CAC lasts 18 hours, and youconsume it right before first round of harvest.
So here's my approach: play the greenhouse game, get all the seeds you can (which won't be muchas I might not be harvesting intensely. ) . Then plant the longest growth plant on 2*2, that is fungus, soak it with Suzy growth, right before harvest, take one CAC. Then plant everything else as required, and harvest whileyour CAC is still active.

As I expect very few drops, and very mediocre crates of seeds, I will take this route and see if I can get my hands on something from the herb coloumn. The mid game crop busts will be lost, but I won't use a CAC for each time I hit a milestone there. One day of plant growing is all this game will get from me.

Hi Guys and Gals ;) I have not been posting much these days.Due to no Laptop, my farming is done by using Android Tablet.

Have been reading posting here, Taken everything into consideration. I have concluded to gains as many Glue Pots and Broken Glass as we can over the next few days of this event I seem to be getting good drops from Stables, using Buffs where I can, including couple cloud row buffs.
So will maintain Reaping Stables in All Fields, that is my first objective.

2nd Objective is to Mill as Many Portable Greenhouses as I can. Find the treasure within two goes to maximised to get 8 Crate of Herbs per Mini Game I will hold onto All seeds gained from Crate of Herbs. Until I have reached my 3rd Objective to build up and maximise Event Crop Bonuse

Hopefully on the 5th day of this event I will take advantage of the Event crop bonus Combo, Nuke as many crops as can using a reasonable amount of SG and SSG. Fingers cross to win Crop harvest bonus on Farm Wheel Spins:p

    Good luck Everyone.

Thanks to -Mir85-, habalala, and clonahmon for taking the time to share their strategies in such detail. :inlove:

I tested out a PJ (+1 crop) on an event seed planted on a 2x2 and it seems to be working as intended, so I don't think there is any reason to worry about CAC not having an effect on these event crops.

Don't forget that there is an Event Plant Harvest Booster (+1 event crop) available in the Shop-O-Rama for 600 farm coins.

I feel like a Bobble head! This is more confusing than the soccer game.

Thanks all you smart people ... as I scoot off for an advil to take care of my aching head.

right now, all I can do is gather drops & give them. Then mill them into greenhouses. I'll have to find time to sift through the thread to see what will work for me.

My Book is the priority & then The Farmer Broke Tree of Wisdom. I have the canvas. I can't wait to get started, but life & stupid hard events keep getting in my way. :p

Revised plan for main field and meadow only, 570 SG

In the previous plan I was too insistent on using 2x2 fields and that complicated things. In fact, with a little more SG on 2x1 plots it all becomes much easier.

Main principles as in first plan.

    Seeds needed:
    - Waterberry 198
    - Valley rose 178
    - Pickly fungus 194

Important: Number of seeds needed are a bit higher with this version, so it is advisable to have a few extra greenhouses ready in case one doesn't get enough of one type of seed.
    • Play 46 games.
    • Sow valley rose on 178 2x1 plots.
    • Wait until valley rose is ready, play the remaining games.
    • Check correct amounts, 14 crops on 2x1 (with CAC) and harvest.
    • Sow prickly fungus on 194 2x1 plots.
    • Harvest and sow waterberries on 196 2x1 plots and 2 1x1 plots.
Again, it doesn't really matter which seed you start with, but with valley rose one has the highest chance of having the required seeds after 46 games. If you don't have enough of any type of seed after 46 games, plant one field with prickly fungus and one with valley rose.

While enjoying the long awaited and now extended holiday from junksing and mindless growing of junks and behaving like a genuine profes-sionaaaaaaaaaaaaal junker, strange things happened:

First the broke farm played the silly little game to get the 10 free power feed to use as a treat for the chickens. I think some crates of crap too came with um. Never will open them. Just threw them in the poop pile in hopes BEEPs would come and pick them up.

    But guess what went wrong?

I went to sleep and the first dream was terrific.

BUT the second dream was when I dreamed about the farm junksing and junks and junks and junks everywhere. And they were looking at me. The junks were looking at me!

    Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat a nightmare that was.:eek::eek:

Good luck junksing and hope you enjoy whatever it is you are doing. :inlove:

:DOh my!!! I come here to DE-stress and have FUN...not to RE-stress over an event!!

So - my strategy is to p-l-a-y when I can, harvest when I can, enjoy the fruits of my labor when I can....and just have FUN!!
As a newer farm with over 128 million in the 'bank', it seems to be working!!

    Wooo Hooo!!!:D:D Have fun everyone!!:music::D:D:D;)

    Sorry, Backwards Week! :wuerg:
I love all the detailed strategies, just can't wrap my head around them... or don't want the pain!
So, I will harvest, mill, play, unwrap boxes and sow. Then repeat. Oh, and donate when I have what is required.
Happy to see you are having fun, fun! :D:music::D

So far the drops are fairly decent. The other farm got the first cloud row (from the mini-game side) this morning - but I bought a basket for that farm, so that's why it's so far ahead.

One thing I've noticed on both farms - it's the roses that are in short supply! When I get stopped on the right side with donations - it's always because I've run out of roses.

There was one other thing and now I'm on the phone with Mom and can't remember...

Remembered! Has anyone seen event crops for sale on their market? The other farm picked up 5 of the prickly cactus yesterday - must have been at the right place at the right time. None have shown up since.

I don't know about you guys, but the drop rate is dissapointing for me and I don't want to waste my chutneys and jams. The problem mostly involves glue pots. This is what I do to minimize this problem:

    • I have 10 2X2 fields on the main farm where I plant the event seeds. With every seed I plant, I get 5 berries.
    • The rest of the main farm (plus the magical glade) are full of 1X1 filds whre I plant normal plants, like Fennel. Lots of fields means more drops. (glue pots). I choos plants with growing time of 2-3 hours. Plants with bigger time will prevent me from harvesting a lot (so I will get less drops). Plants with smaller growing time have a much more little drop rate.
    • I water all of them to reduce their growing time as much as I can.
    • On top of that, I put my 2 awards on the field I am about to harvest every time, so to increase my chances.

BREED CONSTANTLY! You will almost always earn a random drop. I have made 9 breedings until now and every one of them gave me a drop, mostly broken glass.

After all these, I get some extra drops but th situation is again dissapointing. Unfortunately, I still have a drop problem. Imagine I have only played 15 games until now!

The drop rate on short timed crops NEVER matches the drop rate on long timed crops.
In 24 hrs the drops from 8 harvests of a 3 hrs crop are far below the drops you will get from harvesting a 12 hrs crop twice.

    Your choice thou.

For this event it's best to use stalls and workshops on ALL fields with long timed crops on the 1x1 edges. Stalls and workshops do give BOTH crops. After some tries I found out:
Stalls/workshops under 6 hrs base time - "poor" drop rate = get one or both drops on a few
Stalls/workshops under 12 hrs base time - decent drop rate = get one drop or both drops on most
Stalls/workshops over 16 hrs base time - good drop rate = get both drops on about all

15 games in just over a day = 25% done in one day. The event duration = 6 days. You are on track.

I will be out of station from tomorrow evening till monday morning - Indian Time. Going to visit Kutrallam along with my friends. Its known as Spa of South India. Will be enjoying myself a lot and taking bath in lot of waterfalls, whateverfalls we stumble upon. Have lots of winding up and preparation work to do. So friends, please excuse if I don't send gifts or reply.

But I do not know if I will finish the event. The cloud rows are great. Want to finish it. May be if I use all my supergrows, I might finish. Going to try it tomorrow and on Monday.

Ι never thought of it in that way. But still, I always plant seeds with a big growing time (12 hours for example) every night before I go to bed and water them so I can harvest them when I wake up.

Well, I didn't know I had mak such a progress! Still worried about the seed quests though!

    Have fun! :)
