Hi sunshineaz, long crops will give glue pots. Roses work pretty good, but longer is better. Manure is low on my market.

    Way to go -Mir85- and joanc123! :D

Speaking of regrets... I really wish I had waited until today to start growing the event crops so that I could take advantage of the double EP bonus from Happy Harvest Day.
Thinking about all the lost EP makes me wanna :wuerg: and

Oh. I am still growing long term crops on the main field as I am able. Roses are great, carnations with manure are great in about 12 hours. Also doing some other ones as needed for my schedule.

I so admire those who can jump right in and find a direction. Thanks for all your help. It felt like I started this one on my tiptoes on a slip and slide. Finally found that Butterflys and truffles are working for me.
Congrats to those who have finished and best of luck to those still working.

Very intresting planning, thank you :)
I am a slow starter and hesitate if there is any meaning to go for all 3 CRs. Could you please tell how you reached 8 crates/game`?
When you make your second draw you have average higher than 10 squares to choose (between 12 and 18 ) and you managed to find the goal 47 times of 47? With that kind of luck I would take all my savings and loan I could get and as fast as possible go to Las Vegas or Monte C :D
Are there any ways to improve the return from every opened crate?

No luck, just lots of clicking. 12ss12 explained it here :)
It takes a lot of time though. If you are happy with 6 crates/game, you can close the window after 4 steps.

What part is not going well? Maybe we can offer some advice? :)

Whey :D Got All 3 Cloud Rows, Did 62 Find the Chest Mini Games. Got 8 Crates within 2 goes Each Time. Yes lots of click. Using CR with Artisan Buffs helps using Stables and Certain Workshops. I used Cats and Hammocks. Find Stables more effective with Drops.;)

Lucky did not used too many Super Grow and Suzy Super. I have some surplus Crops to sell in Market 15. So be Quick :)

I enjoyed this Event as it is new Event Concept. xD Well done to those who done this Event ;)

Thank you again to all who helped design a strategy and for those who shared their results.

Real life prevented me from doing this event with a clear mind so I wandered a bit in the fog;):p

I tried to follow the tips listed here but going in and out of the mini game to get 8 crates was too much clicking for me and too time consuming. I did occasionally get 8 crates but most of mine were 6 at a time. I only exited the mini game if I couldn't find the treasure within 4 turns.

I did time my game play to take advantage of the extra reward buffs and adjusted the size of my plots accordingly.

However, sadly, I am still short of prickly fungus and I visit the market often with no event crops on sale to be found.

I have done a total of 69 greenhouses and will have to continue in order to get the prickly fungus.

Perhaps I should have done more clicking for 8 crates.:wuerg: Perhaps I should have done all 60 games at once to benefit more from the reward bonuses. Yesterday, I did 53 games but needed to put out more stables to get more drops to finish. This morning I did 16 games with the certainty that the final +3 bonus would carry me to the finish line. Nope:( Things don't always go to plan and that's ok as long as there is still time to adapt and find a new plan that will work. :)

I have loved the idea of the event with both new and familiar mechanisms and the rewards have been terrific. I love the different strategies that could be used in it. I am hoping with 2 days left I can get that purple plant to visit my farm:D

The free ep cloud row is up and running..... whoop whoop whoop de dooooooooooo xD (must remember to harvest once a month)

The event has been fantastic for the broke farms. Absolutely no junking :)

The strategy working the treasure chest hunt was great:

Work to NOT find the treasure chest until the very very very last square xD

Did it only one time. A real challenge!

And I graciously accept all congratulations for a job well done. xD

And have great success with whatever it is you are doing

PNP - it takes an enormous amount of luck to come upon the event crops for sale. I have listed all of sewinglady's excess crops and they get snapped up in nano-seconds. Literally. This morning, I poked the 'market' button in the event layer and lucked into 20 of the roses and 1 of the fungus. I thank whoever listed them and the stars for having aligned just right that I was there at the right nano-second.

I am close. Milling the last of the greenhouses to get the 60 for the last +3 buff. Crops in the ground and used a boatload of party wheel spins to no avail - not even a +1 for field crops. whomp whomp...so doing it the hard way with SG and SSG... Don't know that I'll get to the last CR, but the spring wreath one is in reach - only 6 steps on the right side to reach it. That's doable and I'll be happy if I get there.

    I am finished!!!!:inlove::D

It took 75 greenhouses to get enough prickly fungus seeds so plenty of the other 2. I have donated to the event, filled all 3 cloud rows and sold surplus crops in the market. They disappeared so quickly they never even made it to 'My Market stand'xDxDxD

Have made it to the 2nd Cloud row on 2nd farm and will finish it tomorrow. (hopefully). I'm off to go see a movie with daughter. Have a good afternoon!:)

I finished last night, made 88 greenhouses because of the poor performance (mine) in finding the treasure. have some leftover stock and its selling instantly. My strategy throughout was to mill as I got the shards and glue but I still had to buy a basket to keep it afloat. the cloud rows were worth it though, and the savings of Ostrich eggs and products will be a bonus.

So, I have milled 40 greenhouses and played only 3 mini games. This is because work and RL has not allowed me a great deal of time gaming, and the fact I have struggled to get my head around how and when to do this event effectively :sleepy:.

I have kept up with this thread but as everyone is doing their own strategy, I'm hesitant to start properly and start getting harvest bonus rewards until I know what I'm doing and how and when I'm doing it o_O.
I am work free now til the end of this event so I can dedicate a few hours to knuckling down and trying to complete it :D but I only have 40 greenhouses milled and am wondering if to hang on and wait til I have more 8).

If anyone would be good enough to offer any advice on what I should do (get playing more mini games or wait til have more greenhouses) and when to do it I'd be most grateful :inlove:.

Went out all day to visit an outdoor national herritage museum. Superb day, including a 4hr boat trip. On return I harversted the pens I had set out yesterday and recieved drops for another 10 greenhouses. Will grow the seeds overnight I think.
Have been selling excess event crops in super small numbers yesterday, every 15 minutes, just to get the price up. On my market (too bad one with none of the active forum members) Pricky now does 2.7k, Valley 1.2k and Water 1k. Compared to the very very few (3-5) CC handed out on conversion I now have to make sure I do sell all mine before interest vanishes. About 1500 left of each. Will do my best while packing my vacation suitcases.

    @fifitrixiebell
As the distribution of herbs from the crates can be uneven, my advise is to delay treasure hunting until you have at least 46. As you can read in posts above, 46-50 crates might be enough to do the event in full (getting 8 crates on each mini game), but when unlucky you might need many more.

    @-Mir85-
Thanks for answering the questions olofkalle had.

illy, thanks for mentioning the MM. I was waiting to harvest my pens and didn't notice it.

Before the start of the event I said I had pens on all three fields and was going to remove them after event start/harvest. But... After I harvested the pens I noticed I had almost equal amounts of drops. I was thinking about planting flowers but did not because of the drop numbers/ratio. I was in a hurry so I just fed the pens that were already out. As they matured I replaced them with 18h+ pens. Everything was out of sync but evened up when I got busy or slept. Used a lot of animal housing buffs to speed things along. Almost ran out of critter feed. lol I did not use PF or buy baskets.

After I had 60+ greenhouses milled. This morning... I played all 60+ games on my main farm as fast as I could. If I did not have the treasure after 2 tries I exited and went back in. (Dumbunny, thanks for the reminder on restarting to get the 8 crates per game.) I repeated on all 60+ games to make sure I got the 8 crates per game. Opened the crates to make sure I had at least 200 of each seed. Then I started my hedgehog CR, grabbed some white innocence & fruit cake & SG, water, manure. With the bonuses, CAC, SSG I was getting 16 per plot harvested. Then I planted all of the 8h crop in 1x2s which took... more than an hr. Harvested as soon as they were ready and repeated with the 6h and 4h crops. All the crops were done before the 4h bonus expired. I ended up using more SSG and SG than necessary but... no biggie, I had them in stock for moments like this. I have some extra seeds that I'm growing and selling as they are available but only using CAC for them. Now I'm growing flowers to get some glue pots to use with extra glass shards. My extra greenhouses I played games without the resets. I usually got around 4-6 crates per try. Planted those seeds and will sell when ready. The timing on when to grow flowers is the only thing I changed from my original strategy.

I think the other two farms are ready now... rinse... repeat... lol
