Question: can the event plant harvest bonuses be used simultaneously? Or can they only be used one at a time? Thanks!

 

Yup. Doing all 60 games in one run provides +8 harvest bonus and +200% EP on event crops.

Beware the times thou. One of the +3 bonus only lasts for 4hrs.

I've played 15 games so far (2 day late start) and utilized one harvest bonus for event plants so far, but now in order to best use the upcoming event bonus harvests I'll play all remaining at once & use SG, SSG, fruit cake & white innocence.

 

Custom plan for fifitrixiebell and anyone else struggling to make it to 60 greenhouses

Requirements

47 greenhouses (bare minimum needed but more is better)
8 crates per game
3 completely empty fields
Buffs: CAC, white innocence, fruit cake
533 SG + 520 SSG
Seeds: 185 water berry, 166 valley rose, 182 prickly fungus

Instructions

• Activate CAC, white innocence, and fruit cake
• Play up to 46 games
• Plant prickly fungus on 128 2x2s and apply SG + SSG
• Wait until prickly fungus is almost ready
• Play at least 1 more game to activate 4-hour +3 event crop bonus in level 13 after 47 games played
• Make sure each 2x2 is showing 15 crops and harvest (1920 prickly fungus)
• Plant valley rose on 128 2x2s, apply SG + SSG, and harvest (1920 valley rose)
• Plant water berry on 128 2x2s, apply SG + SSG, and harvest (1920 water berry)
• Plant the following simultaneously:
  • water berry on 28 2x2s and 1 1x1, apply SG to all plots + SSG to the 2x2s only
    
  • valley rose on 38 2x2s, apply SG + SSG
    
  • prickly fungus on 54 2x2s, apply SG to all plots + SSG to only 42 of the 54 2x2s
• Harvest only water berry when ready (430 water berry) then replant water berry on 28 2x2s and apply SG + SSG
• Harvest everything before the 4-hour bonus expires (786 prickly fungus, 570 valley rose, 420 water berry)

In the last round of crops, there is room for 8 more 2x2s as well as some extra 1x2s and 1x1s around the periphery in case you don't get enough prickly fungus seeds after the 46th game.

Make sure to use water and manure on all plots!

EDIT: Minor correction to the amount of SG needed. Meant to show that you need to apply SG to all plots but can spare a few SSG, but ended up combining the two numbers in the original plan...

The drops from this morning's harvest mean I am now milling another 7 greenhouses (which will bring me to a current total of 47).

I will hang on until I have over 50 to play any mini games but I'm conscious of the fact the event ends in 28 hours so I'm not sure how much time I am going to need to play all games and get all crops planted and harvested in time.

The 3 games I had already played, I followed the advice previously given to come out the mini game if the treasure is not found in 1-2 tries and try again until I got the 8 crates...thank you to whoever told us that little nugget of gold .

As I have more time now to concentrate on the game, I will probably continue to do that with as many of the games as I can to utilise my greenhouses.
Unfortunately I don't have many SSG as I was using them on all my MM trees so stock is low (132) but I do have over 1000 SG .

I can't remember which market I'm on but at no point have I seen any event crop for sale! I think maybe BP got our hopes up with that one although maybe the market will be flooded with them an hour before the end of the event .

 

I have played 58 games and have two of the CRs up and running but that's probably it. I need too many Valley Roses to be able to finish. I probably could have done it if had cleared two fields and planted long crops on two fields overnight instead of one to improve the Glue Pots/Broken Glass ratio. But this event was really difficult to evaluate and optomise good strategy. In hindsight, I should have got all the boxes and used the extra harvest buff prizes more wisely.

On the other hand, it is driving me nuts trying to find the hidden treasure! Sometimes I have gone round the whole island once and not found it, only to find it in one of the middle squares which I am sure I have searched already!

So, maybe I would have been worse off if I had had to find 60 boxes in one go! I have only had two goes, then exited and gone back in so each time I have had the maximum seeds ... perhaps I should give up sleeping!

I will continue playing the games to the bitter end - and this does feel a little like the last event, leaving a bitter taste.

I am happy for those who have had more success than me.

 

Completed the event but it was a struggle. Real life kept getting in the way

I am back. Had a wonderful time. went for a mountain trek to a falls that is situated on top of a mountain. People don't, usually go over there. Enjoyed a lot.


Finished 56/60 mini games and 55/75 steps. Waiting for more drops, especially broken glass. Do not know whether I will have enough crops to finish all the 75 steps. Might know in another 12 hrs.

 

Not to wonder illy when you reenter the game it starts afresh, the treasure probably isn't in the same spot as the game you exited. Wish you the best of luck forward

 

Well, I waited until I could activate the last two +3 bonuses simultaneously and then went for it yesterday. Still came up short crops... So I got the second CR, but am still short for the 3rd. So this morning, I am milling the last greenhouses and whatever I get from these, is whatever I get and I'm not going to sweat it if I don't get that third CR. I didn't expect to come up short on the blue ones, but I have. The random nature of what we get from the seed crates is something that's hard to account for...

 

I'm in the same position dumbunny with my 2nd farm. Waited until today to activate the last 2 +3 bonuses and still short on both valley rose and waterberry whereas it was the prickly fungus I was short on for pnp. Still no event crops in the market when I visit (very often). Random features of an event is tricky....

So, in theory, I could go back in every time, hit the same two squares and, by the law of averages, I would strike just as lucky as if I tried a different square each time?

Well, I wasn't at all organised for the first half of the event and didn't think I'd finish, so I threw every +crops buff I had at the second half. I waited and got 3 of the +event crops buffs together, and spun over 100 normal farmwheel spins to get 2 +1 buffs, and used SG and SSG on everything in sight as I didn't know if I'd finish otherwise. I've ended up with over 1000 of each of the event crops to sell in the market!
On my market they're appearing sporadically but then being sold as soon as they're put up. I expect prices to climb quite a bit over the next few hours, then there should be plenty for everyone if you're prepared to pay.

Without SSG, you would need more seeds (at least 53 water berry, 48 valley rose, 49 prickly fungus if all bonuses have expired) which ultimately means more greenhouses are needed.

If you're low on SSG, I strongly suggest doing some breeding to get enough drops together for 60 games and just sticking to Mir's plan. Otherwise, you might not be able to complete all 75 tasks.
