I too did the same illy ! Now I am in 96/140. Yes, You are right, from 96 onwards, its only 2 each step.

 

Thanks illy’s advice, I also use 24 star coin to exchange cursed coin.
with some help from the treasure box (give cursed coin): I finally got to 94/140
It is a great approach. just one more coin, then it will be much easier to get to next step.
Look at those cottage upgrade....

 

Not happy with my luck here opened 96 crates and got 1 cursed coin

 

How is it that I still have 30 star coins after buying all 15 of the cursed coins? I only used 12 Tinctures. Can't remember where the other star coins came from.
I am at 108/140 now.
Oh, and I have been using my insomnia to harvest coins at or close to 20 hours. Finally found a use for that!

What would we get as prizes?

 

No extra prizes, but the crates themselves are quite good (even without the cursed cursed coins).

Same! Well, I'm actually at 97, but it has the same effect.

I was not looking forward to the long slog between level 7 and level 8, but it seems that it was a hole that the Witch event was always designed to fill.

I thought the pacing of this event was going to be way off, but instead it's really nicely balanced. I like the shorter levels at the end, it's a nice change from having the last step being the largest.

 

Bought the remaining 3 cursed coins and now marched forward to 102. Seems harvesting 3 cursed coins every 20 hrs will make us finish the event exactly on 30th October. If there is help from other quarters we might finish it much sooner. So no need to worry at all.

Yes, we are being spoiled. It should have been the monkey queen which should be doing it. Instead now its the Witch Cat.
Mir, may be you will get more cursed coins from the cursed crates herein after to come.

 

elRe - Thanks for the info, but the givers I was referring to are the ones you can buy that give cursed coins not the ones you can win in the mini=game. Sorry I wasn't clear!

 

Maybe you got coins as a reward on one or more tinctures ? I did.

I'm on 99/140 so with a little bit of luck, the right luck, Mir85, not the bad one, this should be allright. 11 days left - harvest 1x a day =33. Need 8 extra. (I've bought all that I could from the last one)

 

Thank you Moraine for responding to my query. I was only on my first cuppa when I posted that.
Using 11 tinctures gave me 25 + 35 coins. It was too early for my calculator to work properly...

 

How do we get all 12 givers ?

or is it 16?

 

Trishap58, Complete All 140 Games gives Total of 16 Givers. As you need to collect 4 x weird vase designs, 4 x Creepy Coffin Designs, 4 x chilling Coach Designs and tempting coach designs

 

I ended up getting a bunch of coins from the crates which I thought unusual but I'll take them anyway I can. I did buy up all the coins that were available in the shop though. Now I have 100 games if the time doesn't run out before the 31st anyway.
The Farm wheel rat was nice to me this time (or maybe he didn't dare) I got a load of extra harvests and ep's stacked over the weekend.
